Burrowing animals, by their presence and their way of life, pose more and more problems for people using the surfaces where they are deployed to find their food, their lodging, their place of reproduction.
These animals become harmful from the moment they thwart the exploitation of the premises, by digging galleries, burrows, by rejecting on the surface the surplus of earth.
The places used: gardens, vegetable gardens, lawns but also golf courses, airfields, highways, dikes, etc.
The animals concerned: moles, brown rats, rats, rodents and other burrowing animals.
The processes used to date are difficult to use, expensive and not very active, others are dangerous for the user or for the fauna to be protected.
The present invention remedies these drawbacks by using the action of a turbine to propel and distribute in the galleries or burrows, and over a very large surface, a toxic, heavy, low volatile gas, without risking contaminating the treated animals or surrounding.
The invention is a mobile and autonomous device, generator, propellant and earth distributor, of a mixture of toxic gases with a view to destroying or repelling burrowing noxious animals in their galleries or burrows.
This invention allows, indifferently, the use of liquid, solid or gaseous products, to obtain the desired treatment gas.
According to the invention, the device consists of a motor actuating a turbine which can be placed in communication with a burner producing heavy toxic gas.
Another characteristic of the invention, this heavy toxic gas flow is conveyed from the turbine to a mixing tank by a nozzle on which it is possible to connect on the one hand, a pipe connected to a gas bottle, on the other hand, a tube recovering the combustion gases from the engine.
The special feature of the mixer consists of a tank where the flow of gas propelled by the turbine is brought by an inlet pipe immersed in a volatile liquid, previously poured into the tank, and allowing the bubbling and over-escalation of the gas flow.
At the outlet of the mixing tank, the heavy toxic gas is conveyed under pressure by several flexible tubes in the galleries or burrows created by the pests to be destroyed.
An embodiment of the object of the invention is shown by way of example, without limitation to the attached detailed drawings.
Figure 1 is a perspective which shows the entire apparatus consisting of an electric or combustion engine (2) driving a turbine (1) which sucks the gases from the burner (7) (see fιg.4). The gases sucked in by the turbine (1) are propelled into the nozzle (3) connected to the mixing tank (4). In the case of a combustion engine (2), the exhaust gases will be recovered (9) and injected into the nozzle (3) (see fig. 6). Compressed gases from the bottle (8) can also be injected into the nozzle (3). The gas flow thus obtained will be directed by the nozzle (3) in the mixing tank (4) (see fig. 3), where a volatile liquid has been previously poured, bubbling will take place (see fig. 3). The new gas flow thus obtained will be directed under pressure into the conduits (5) provided with injectors (6) (see fig. 5) thus carrying out the treatment in the selected galleries or burrows. The assembly is mounted on a support (10) itself fixed in a structure (11) provided with wheels (19) which make the device mobile and autonomous.
Figure 2 is an operating diagram showing the path and enrichment of gas flows in the device and their pressurization by the turbine. The actions of the burner (7), the bottle (8), and the mixing tank (4), can, depending on the desired treatment, be used separately or added up.
Le réservoir mélangeur (4) est doté d'un bouchon de remplissage (18).Figure 3 is an axonometry of the mixing tank (4) and its bubbling system connected to the nozzle (3). This bubbling takes place in a volatile liquid allowing a gas exchange. The mixing tank (4) is provided with a filling cap (18).
It is a drawer composed, in the lower part, of a combustion chamber, where the composition to be burned, which is previously lit, is arranged, and in the upper part, an adjustable opening allowing the entry of the side air open to the outside and a square outlet at the other end. This square outlet is received in a cylinder (15) leading to the suction hole of the turbine (1). The combination of the square section inscribed in a cylindrical section, ensures by the free peripheral spaces thus created, an air passage for regulating the draft and cooling the burner (7).
Un robinet fixé en amont sur le conduit (5) permet la coupure des gaz.FIG. 5 is an axonometry representing the injector (6) composed of a spout (17) fitted into the duct (5) and a cone movable along the duct (5), making it possible to seal on the gallery to be treated. A valve fixed upstream on the conduit (5) allows the gas to be cut off.
Ce principe permet d'enrichir les gaz de traitement et de supprimer, pour l'utilisateur, l'émanation de gaz d'échappement FIG. 6 is an axonometry representing the recuperator (9) of the burnt gases at the outlet of the internal combustion engine (2) and reinjected into the nozzle (3). This principle makes it possible to enrich the treatment gases and to eliminate, for the user, the emission of exhaust gases.
