Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé d'accélération de statoréacteur supersonique conçu principalement pour des avions spatiaux, lequel procédé consiste à comprimer l'air à l'aide d'un système de création d'ondes de choc externes qui s'exercent sur les éléments fixes du fuselage, et d'ondes de choc internes qui sont générées par des éléments régulateurs dans le canal d'écoulement du réacteur. On procède ensuite à la combustion détonante du carburant dans la chambre de combustion, puis à la détente des gaz dans la tuyère. Ce procédé se caractérise par le fait que lors d'un vol à des vitesses inférieures à Mach 6 - 8, le carburant est brûlé après une admission qui s'effectue de manière répartie sur la longueur de la chambre de combustion qui va s'élargissant, ceci jusqu'à ce que l'on atteigne une température critique. Lorsque la vitesse vol dépasse Mach 6 - 8, l'admission répartie du carburant est interrompue et ce dernier est injecté dans le flux d'air en arrière du système externe d'ondes de choc, et devant la prise d'air du réacteur, là où la température de l'air est inférieure au point d'inflammation du carburant. Le réglage du canal d'écoulement permet de former des chocs de compression dans la prise d'air de sorte qu'après la génération des ondes de choc, la composante normale du nombre de Mach est égale à un, tandis que la température de l'air dépasse le point d'inflammation du carburant.
