Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte au domaine de l'électronique radio et permet de résoudre les problèmes d'élargissement de bandes de transmission d'une grille d'antenne jusqu'à quelques décades, ceci grâce à une antenne à bandes extra-larges en vue de la transmission et de la réception d'informations sans fil. Ceci est rendu possible grâce à une grille d'antenne linéaire à bande large comprenant une base diélectrique avec des couches métallisées sur lesquelles se trouve un système d'excitation. La grille comprend également un orifice rayonnant dont la région interne se présente sous forme d'un ensemble d'un nombre pair d'éléments rayonnants de premier niveau. Chacun de ces éléments est formé par l'intersection de deux éléments rayonnants de niveau zéro de sorte que les parois externes de ces derniers forment également les parois externes de l'élément rayonnant de premier niveau. L'intersection de parois contiguës définit une section métallisée, le point d'intersection des parois contiguës d'un élément rayonnant de niveau zéro se situant sur l'axe de symétrie de l'élément rayonnant de premier niveau à une distance supérieure à la moitié de la longueur d'onde depuis chaque paroi externe de cet élément rayonnant et dans une direction perpendiculaire à l'axe de symétrie. Chaque paire suivante d'éléments rayonnants voisins définit, par l'intersection de ses parois internes, un élément rayonnant d'un niveau supérieur dont la région interne n'est pas homogène et dont le diamètre d'ouverture est au moins deux fois supérieur à celui de l'élément précédant. Ce processus de doublage se poursuit jusqu'à ce que l'on obtienne un orifice rayonnant formant un diagramme de faisceau voulu.
