Abstract
A printing and writing substrate which prevents backlight reading and a method for making same, wherein the opacity, the colouring and the surface state of the substrate can be modified in accordance with the quality required for subsequent printing thereof as desired. The method includes using one or more support sheets (1) and a multifunctional layer (2) to which a plurality of multifunctional layers (3, 4) may simultaneously be added, optionally incorporating additional tamper-preventing barrier layers (5). The invention is particularly useful for making lottery tickets and security paper.

Il est connu un papier composite constitué d'une pellicule aluminisée contrecollée sur un papier; la lecture par transparence est parfaitement neutralisée et le prix de revient intéressant, mais le recyclage trop difficile n'en est pas réalisé. II est connu dans le Brevet Européen Numéro 0 428 489 un papier composite constitué d'une feuille-support opaque centrale noire emprisonnée entre deux couches blanches. en ce que la feuille support (1) et ladite couche multifonctions (2) sont à coloration, opacité et imprimabilité modulables, aptes à évoluer en coloration, opacité et état de surface; en ce que la feuille support (1), la couche multifonction (2) et les encres sont aptes à être recouvertes d'une 2ème couche multifonctions optionnelle consistant en un vernis transparent très légèrement teinté; en ce que des microsphères optionnelles sont aléatoirement incorporées ou rapportées dans ou sur la feuille support (1), dans la couche multifonctions (2) ou dans les encres de marquage précitées, lesdites microsphères étant constituées d'au moins un matériau opaque, encapsulées elles-mêmes dans un matériau ayant avantageusement la couleur de la feuille support, de la couche multifonctions ou des encres; en ce que lesdites microsphères ont des caractéristiques mécaniques et chimiques leur permettant d'être intégrées lors de la fabrication de la feuille support (1), ou rapportées lors de la fabrication de la couche multifonction (2) de la 2ème opacité; en ce que la partie externe ou interne desdites microsphères est également apte à être écrasée et/ou activée par tout phénomène d'appoint comme forte pression, mise en contact avec un acide, une base, un changement de température ou un rayonnement;
