Abstract

L'invention concerne un réseau de messagerie bidirectionnel qui permet à l'utilisateur d'un dispositif de communication à distance d'utiliser des cartes de débit prépayées pour autoriser la transmission de messages. Ces cartes de débit sont constituées d'un support d'information permettant la mémorisation d'une valeur prépayée d'autorisation et d'un dispositif de protection contre les contrefaçons. Le dispositif de communication à distance a la possibilité de communiquer avec une station fixe et de débiter la valeur d'autorisation correspondant à la durée d'une communication. Il dispose également de composantes dédiées au contrôle des contrefaçons qui, utilisées en association avec la carte de débit, permettent de dissuader les tentatives de communications non autorisées.
