Abstract

Une luge (1) a un patin principal (15) avec une plate-forme (3) montée sur celui-ci pour porter un passager. La luge a une paire de patins de direction (7), un sur chaque côté de l'avant du patin principal. Les patins de direction sont reliés en pivotement à l'avant du patin principal. On prévoit des poignées (97) à l'avant des patins de direction qui sont tenues par le passager qui est couché sur le ventre sur la luge pour la diriger. Des reposoirs (99) pour les avant-bras du passager sont prévus sur les patins de direction lorsque le passager prend les poignées. Des moyens d'inclinaison inclinent automatiquement le patin prncipal sur le bord latéral quand la luge tourne.
