Abstract
Domaine d'application: cette invention concerne une technique médicale pouvant être utilisée en médecine pratique et faisant appel à la thérapie par hypoxie, c'est à dire à des traitements à l'aide de mélanges gazeux contenant une faible proportion d'oxygène. Cette invention concerne essentiellement un appareil de thérapie par hypoxie pouvant être utilisé dans des conditions barométriques normales et comprenant les éléments suivants montés en série dans un boîtier: un compresseur, un élément se composant de membranes de séparation des gaz, un régulateur de débit du mélange gazeux, un humidificateur, un récepteur, un dispositif de connexion au patient comprenant un masque équipé d'une soupape antiretour, ainsi que des systèmes d'observation du patient comprenant un indicateur de taux d'oxygène. Cet indicateur de taux d'oxygène est muni d'une unité de refroidissement de l'air de départ installée en amont de l'élément de séparation des gaz, laquelle est à son tour équipée d'un collecteur des produits de condensation et d'un système d'évacuation automatique de ces produits. L'élément de séparation des gaz est formé d'un bloc de membranes polymères planes de polyvinyltriméthylsilane, le rapport entre l'épaisseur de la couche de séparation et celle de la membrane étant de 6-10:1. Ces membranes sont disposées à l'intérieur d'un limiteur de volume cylindrique équipé de raccords de tuyaux pour l'entrée et la sortie des gaz. Le régulateur de débit de mélange gazeux se compose de deux conduites principales ramifiées, la première branche allant dans le sens de circulation du gaz étant équipée d'une valve, et la seconde étant équipée d'un gicleur réglable. Le récepteur est équipé d'une soupape de sécurité de décharge automatique.
