Abstract

Un système de communications personnelles, qui permet à l'utilisateur d'émettre simultanément de la voix et des données vers un site distant, comprend deux interfaces de lignes téléphoniques qui permettent une connexion sur une liaison de télécommunications reliant deux sites distants. Ce système comporte, sur cette liaison de communications, un multiplexage statistique prioritaires perfectionné des donnés non critiques en matière de synchronisation avec des données qui le sont, pour augmenter le débit d'un canal sans abaisser la qualité des données critiques en matière de synchronisation. Ce système de communications personnelles peut être mis en réseau dans différentes configurations topologiques pour permettre des conférences prenant la forme de diverses communications critiques et non critiques en matière de synchronisation.
