Description

Water dispenser device
Field of the invention
The present invention relates to sanitary hygienic equipment to use during water and sanitary-hygienic procedures to perform as the means of water distribution.
The sources of water have been reducing worldwide. At present the expenditures on human settlements' water supply are increasing. Some regions suffer from the scarcity of water resources especially of drinking quality. The growing number of regions and human settlements will meet the difficulties related to water scarcity and the increase of water consumption in the nearest future. The means of reduction of water consumption keeping stable physiological and hygienic parameters of comfortable human being' existence are necessary.
Prior knowledge
Known showerhead device having water chamber with water dispersing lattice and hollow space handle connected to water main and connected to a hollow of the chamber through the cut-off valve mounted in the chamber (see USSR Certificate of Authorship N 165458 class A 47K3/22, 1989) . Multiple jet water supply is not economical. The largest part of water coming from the showerhead does not participate in the process of sanitary hygienic treatment of human body. It was scientifically and experimentally found and practically proven that five liters of water are sufficient for full sanitary hygienic treatment of human body. This disadvantage was eliminated in the known showerhead having water chamber with water spraying lattice and hollow- space handle connected to water main and connected to the hollow of the chamber through the cut-off valve mounted in the chamber and also having supplementary water chamber with the sprayer in the central part and switching cock while the supplementary water chamber is placed in the hollow of the present chamber, the switching cock is mounted between the water chamber and the cut-off valve for the alternative connection with the hollow of the handle situated in the supplementary water chamber, and the sprayer of the supplementary water chamber is designed as a cylindrical tank with the central opening in the given part and two tangential ly situated openings in the side walls (see Russian Federation Patent N 2014797, cl. A47K 3/22, 1992). Known design is more close to the present invention by its technical essence and expected results. The disadvantage of the device designed according to the above mentioned technical decision is the following: the position of the switching cock and the cut-off valve close to each other and their separate design is mechanically difficult and, as a result, unreliable. The actuation of the switching cock and the cut-off valve causes difficulties in coordination of human fingers movement and exhaust the user. The operation of the switching cock and the cut-off valve is carried out separately that is not convenient. The known showerhead is used only in shower units.
Disclosure of invention
The present invention has for its aim the improvement of the performance and the increase of the comfort and reliability during the operation. This aim is attained in the water dispersing device having the body with water supply canal, the main water chamber with the central opening for aerosol spraying, means of cut-off and switching and the element of connection with the water main, by means of the hinge designed together with the water supply canal and placed between the body and the element of connection with the water main, the means of cut-off and switching is designed as a unit built into the body with the possibility of alternative shift from the cut-off position to the position of connection of the water supply canal with the main or supplementary water chambers. The cut-off and switching means are designed as concentric elements with water supply canals to the main and supplementary chambers. The cut-off and switching means are designed as a spring-loaded two-piston plunger. The main and supplementary water chambers are concentric on each other. The main and supplementary water chambers are parallel to each other. The inner surface of the supplementary water chamber is spherical.
Description of drawing
The present invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein: Figure 1 is a schematic diagram of a water dispersing device;
Figure 2 illustrates an alternative design of a water dispersing device;
Figure 3 shows the second alternative design of a water dispersing device;
Figure 4 is a schematic diagram of an alternative switching device.
Referring now in particular to the drawings the water dispersing device shown in Figure 1 comprises three main elements: the main water chamber 1 , for example, of circular type, supplementary water chamber 2 and the cut-off and switching device 3, and water supply canal 4.
The main water chamber 1 is designed either with the latticed screen 5 on the end face for multiple jet water spraying in shower units or with one, two openings 5 on the end face for jet water delivery in sink units.
The supplementary water chamber 2 is designed with one central opening 6 of water aerosol spraying. Water supply canal to the main water chamber 1 could be leaded to any zone, and water supply canal to the supplementary water chamber should be leaded so that water flow from the canal passes into the supplementary water chamber tangential to its inner surface to create water flow eddy in the supplementary water chamber. Whirling water flows from the supplementary water chamber through the only one central opening 6 with small diameter. Water passes out of this opening at high speed, sprays as water aerosol in the form of a cone with hollow central part. The cut-off and switching device 3 provides regime "closed" when water from water main does not enter neither main nor supplementary water chambers.
The position "closed" of the cut-off and switching device is shown in Figure 1 . Alternative design of the invention
Water dispersing device contains fixed body part 7, movable part 8 and connecting part 9. The swivel device 10 is provided between the fixed part 7 and connecting part 9 and designed, for example, as a ball-and-socket joint. The connecting part 9 can be performed as a collet clamp but also can take another form, for example, of a coupling nut.
The water supply canals 4 are in the fixed body part 7 and connecting part 9. In the movable part there are the main water chamber 1 and supplementary water chamber 2. On the end face of the main water chamber there is a latticed screen 5 for water spraying, and on the end face of the supplementary water chamber 2 there is one central opening 6.
The water supply canal in the fixed part 7 passes into radial-peripheral canals 11 , connecting the water supply canal and the cavity 12 of a circular type. The cavity 12 is alternately connected with the main water chamber 1 or supplementary water chamber 2.
The position of movable part 8 relative to fixed body part 7 defines the sequence of connection of the cavity 12 with water chambers. The movable part 8 is provided with the seals 13. Figure 2 shows the water dispersing device in the intermediate position of the movable part 8 when the cavity 12 is not connected with any water chamber When the movable part 8 turns from the right to the left, the end face 14 of the central element 15 of the movable part reaches the transition area of peripheral canals 11 into the cavity 12. Water from the cavity 12 gets into the axial-flow canal 16 of the central element 15 and through the canals 17 - to the supplementary water chamber 2. The outlets of the canals 17 provide tangential water intake to the supplementary water chamber. Water in the supplementary water chamber sheds vortices. After shedding vortices water leaves the supplementary water chamber through the only central opening 6 of small diameter. Water jet leaves the opening 6 at high speed and sprays as aerosol. For all that water aerosol is shaped as a cone with the hollow central area. To improve water eddying in the supplementary water chamber the last- mentioned can be formed as a sphere, at least radius transition can be provided in the areas of jointing of the cylindrical part and the base of the supplementary water chamber. The loss of speed of eddying water is possible in these areas that's why radius shape of these surfaces is efficient.
When the movable part 8 slips from the right to the left the cavity 12 connects with the recess 18 through which water gets to the main water chamber 1. Water from the main water chamber passes out through the openings of the latticed screen 5 as a bunch of thin jets or through one opening as a water jet. Figure 3 shows the alternative design of water dispersing device in which the connecting part 9 is situated perpendicular to the body part 7. In this variant there is no movable part. The position of the plunger 19 determines the sequence of water supply to the main and supplementary water chambers and regime "closed". The swivel device 4 allows to regulate the angular position of the water dispersing device relative to water mains by turning it with human hand to the convenient position both in shower and sink units.
The alternative designs of the water dispersing device described above and shown in Figures 2 and 3 do not limit any other concrete designs of the water dispersing device. The main and supplementary water chambers can be arranged concentrically as shown in Figures 2 and 3 but they can be placed alongside when the main chamber is in the shape of a circle and does not embrace the supplementary chamber. The main water chamber can take practically any shape and, therefore, can be transformed within the wide limits.
Water dispersing device can be used for distribution of water supplied from two water mains through the mixer. Each of the water mains can have different pressure of water or other liquid. In that case the water dispersing device in "closed" regime can cause redistribution of liquid from one water main to another through the mixer by means of pressure difference in water mains. In this situation it is advisable to employ the water dispersing device without the regime "closed" when the device 3 serves only for switching water supply to the main or supplementary water chambers. Schematic diagram of this device in two switching positions is shown in Figure 4.
Industrial use of invention
This water dispersing device provides two regimes of water supply: multi-jet supply through the latticed screen of the main water chamber and water supply in the form of spray through the opening of the supplementary water chamber. On employing the water dispersing device aerosol water spray provides considerable reduction of water consumption and full sanitary- hygienic treatment of human body and improves the heating of human body. In this water dispersing device the regimes of water cut-off and water supply through the main or supplementary water chambers are provided by the unified member. The water dispersing device can be used both in shower and sink units. The body of the device can change the angular position towards the elements of the water main.
Above described advantages broaden the possibilities of application of the water dispersing device and improve the level of comfort and reliability during use.
