Definitions
- the subject of the present invention is a module for storing, selecting and presenting posters, in particular for sporting events, for display in the city and for advertising at the point of sale, known as POS advertising.
- EP patent application No. 91402815.4 which describes a device for displaying information, in particular advertising information, with a support frame provided with a window. display and whose main characteristic consists of the combination of a store with at least one information support panel, means for selecting and gripping one of said panels and means for transferring this panel to the right of the display window.
- the mechanism comprises at least two belts stretched between pulleys supported by two arranged shafts, one in the upper part of the support frame and the other in the lower part.
- These belts support gripping means and there is further provided means for selecting a poster from among the others, within the store.
- Such display devices are intended to be installed indoors in rooms, for example during sporting and cultural events, but also outdoors, on sports grounds. Under such conditions, these modules are subjected to bad weather, which includes variations in temperature, hygrometric degree and even nature of the air (saline atmosphere for example).
- gripping means described in this application are simple hooking means which offer questionable security.
- temperature differences are enough to modify the stiffness of the material making up the poster or even to modify the dimensions of this poster because of the expansion generated by the increase in temperature, which regularly leads to untimely stalls which are no less prejudicial in the case of these devices reserved for the presentation of information.
- the present invention aims to overcome the problems caused by existing devices and provide the additional services required by advertisers.
- the module for storing, selecting, and presenting posters according to the invention makes it possible to select and enter one poster among others, whatever the number, to guarantee effective hanging, to overcome expansion and temperature problems as well as constraints generated by atmospheric conditions which in particular induce electrostatic forces, to present different two-sided images, to allow a choice of presentation of the images to produce a single image or a repetition of an isolated image, by juxtaposing several modules.
- the module for storing, selecting and presenting posters according to the invention in a preferred embodiment as will be described in detail below, has many arrangements which simplify implementation by increasing the accessibility, which is the guarantee of high reliability totally necessary for this type of module.
