Abstract

The present invention provides a planar sheet stock material (139, 169) having adhesive (173, 175) and/or dividing line(s) (146A, 146B, 146C, 147A, 147B, 147C) and thereby said planar sheet stock material (139, 169) provides reusable and/or writable sheet stock material (129), e.g. general sheet stock material, memo sheets, bookmarks, address information sheet and the like. Said sheet stock material (129, 139, 169) may be provided in the form of commercial goods such as papers, boxes, receptacles, and the like. And, said sheet stock material (129, 139, 169) and commercial goods made of said sheet stock material (129, 139, 169) of the present invention may also be provided in combination with printed indicia (162) pertaining to general merchandising goods, utilities or services. The present invention also dislcoses methods of making said sheet stock material (129, 139, 169) of the present invention.

SHEET STOCK MATERIAL PROVIDING REUSABLE SHEET STOCK MATERIAL
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to sheet stock material comprised of paper or the like, which is once used for a certain use or goods, or together with a certain goods, and then can directly be reused by the users, as general sheet stock materials, memo sheets, bookmarks, or as goods of sheet stock materials for its own original use.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Nowadays, in the light of the preservation of environment, the conservation of resources, and the prevention of contamination, the accumulation of the trashes and rubbish is one of the most bothersome and difficult problems in our daily life, which not only accelerates the contamination of environments but also drains the resources. Especially, the general packing sheets made of papers and/or synthetic resin films for packing box, chewing gum or cigarette wrapping sheets, receptacles, and the like are in most cases not reused but only dumped after being used, which causes accumulation of rubbish, contamination of the environments, waste of resources, and so on.
DESCRIPTION OF PRIOR ART In the prior arts or current markets, there has not been any sheet stock materials or goods of sheet stock materials which can directly be recycled and/or reused by the users or consumers.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION Thus, it is an object of the present invention to provide sheet stock material which can directly be reused as general sheet stock materials, memo sheets, bookmarks and the like by the users after said sheet stock material is used for its own original uses.
Another object of the present invention is to provide said sheet stock materials in combination with printed indicia pertaining to certain manufactured goods. A further object of the present invention is to provide sheet stock goods made of above said sheet stock materials of the present invention.

In the drawings, the numeral 155(155A, 155B,...) denotes the foldline to fold the sheet stock material and the numeral 156(156A, 156B,...) denotes the cutting line to cut the sheet stock material, to form a certain shape suitable for its own uses.
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
First, the sheet stock material of the present invention can be provided, by the paper manufacturer, in the form of paper blank provided with adhesive and/or dividing line(s), and thereafter it can be provided in combination with some indicia printed thereon.
Figure IA illustrates the first embodiment of sheet stock material of the present invention, in which a single, planar sheet stock material extends horizontally from left edge 66 to right edge 68 and vertically from top edge 64 to bottom edge 62.
In the specification there are disclosed, on the whole, two types of sheet stock material of the present invention; e.g. a single sheet and a piled sheet which is comprised of more than one single sheet stock material. Thus, the term "base sheet 139" and "piled base sheet 169" is used to designate these types of sheet stock material, and the term "reusable sheet 129" is used to designate the sheet stock material which is divided from, detached from or peeled off the base sheet 139 or 169 to be reused by the users. The base sheet is generally comprised of paper or any other known sheet stock material such as metallic foil, synthetic resin film or mixtures thereof. The synthetic resin material may be polyolefin resins, vinyl resins, cellulose, polyesters, and the like.
On the whole, there are three types of sheet stock material, i.e., paper sheet, synthetic resin sheet such as polyethylene film, and metallic foil sheet. Strictly speaking, the paper sheet is provided in two types, i.e., an average paper sheet and a paper sheet coated with other material such as polyethylene .film, and the metallic foil sheet is comprised of layers of paper, metallic material such as silver pigment and/or the synthetic resin material such as polyethylene film.
Thus, throughout the specification, the term "sheet stock material" is used to wholly denote these sheet stock material of paper, metallic foil, synthetic resin film, and/or mixtures thereof, and the term "metallic foil" denotes the metallic foil sheet comprised of layers of paper, metallic material and/or the synthetic resin material.
In case of ordinary paper sheets the user can freely write desired indications on them. However, in case of metallic foil or polyethylene film which has nonporous surfaces one can not freely write thereon with a certain writing means which has water soluble properties.
Thus, at least some portion of any one surface of the base sheet may be sized, calendered, embossed, roughed, fuzzed, blurred, or a certain material such as pigments, additives, minerals, pulps, or any other known materials may be coated, blended, sprayed, or painted thereon in order to provide writable surface on the reusable sheet which is detached from the base sheet for the users to write desired indicia thereon. As shown in Figs.1 A and etc., a little apart from the marginal edge(s) of the base sheet, there may optionally be formed at regular intervals, vertical and/or horizontal dividing line(s) 146A, 146B, 146C,... and/or 147A, 147B, 147C,..., respectively. Thus, the base sheet may easily be divided into two, three, or several portions by dividing the base sheet along the dividing line(s), and thereby provides a reusable sheet(s).
In the drawings, the dividing line is indicated in the form of a series of small perforations. However, it may be comprised of a series of slits or may be formed by means of any other known weakening means or methods such as mechanical pressing, die-cutting, heat pressing, laser application, and etc. In order to let the dividing line be invisible or to prevent the light, air or moisture to pass through the dividing line, synthetic resin materials, pigments, additives, minerals or any other known materials may be coated, applied, or laminated along the dividing line or on the surface of the base sheet. For example, a thin polyethylene film layer may be coated on the surface of the base sheet.
In the drawings, the dividing lines are drawn to be straight. And the dividing line may optionally be curved or irregularily formed to let the reusable sheet detached from the base sheet have various shape.
Further, by letting the distances between the straight dividing lines be different the reusable sheets may have various sizes. For example, the vertical and/or horizontal dividing lines may be so formed on the base sheet that the reusable sheet detached from the base sheet may have DIN A4(21cm X 29.7cm), B4, B5,... size, the US standard size(21.59cm X 27.94cm ; 8.5" x 11"), the standard size of post card in each state, and so on.
A portion of adhesive is applied to the base sheet. The pressure sensitive permanent adhesive, or rewettable adhesive or glue is well known and in wide use. The nontoxic pressure sensitive adhesive having releasable and repositionable properties is also well known in the art. The adhesive applied to the base sheet is any one of these types of adhesive. Thus, in the specification, the term "adhesive 173" denotes the nontoxic, releasable and repositionable pressure sensitive adhesive, and the term "adhesive 175" denotes the nontoxic, pressure sensitive permanent adhesive, or the nontoxic, rewettable adhesive or glue. And, the term "adhesive" alone denotes any one of the adhesive 173 or the adhesive 175, or both of them.
In the drawings, the adhesive 173 or 175 is apphed in the form of adhesive strip, but it may be applied in the form of area(s) or dot(s). Thus, the term "adhesive" or "portion of adhesive" wholly represents the area(s), strip(s) or dot(s) of adhesive.
The adhesive 173 or 175 may be applied along any one marginal edge of the base sheet and/or along one side of the dividing line or along both sides of the dividing line as shown in Fig.lA, or further, it may also be applied, along the dividing lines, on the fore and rear face of the base sheet alternately. To afford greater ease in folding the portion on which the adhesive is applied, along the marginal edge of the portion of adhesive on the reusable sheet 129, there may be provided a scored line 144 as illustrated in Fig.6A. About the scored line 144 the portion of the reusable sheet on which the adhesive is applied may easily be folded inwardly or outwardly.
And, in order to protect the adhesive 173 or 175, a strip or sheet of the adhesive covering means 174 of paper or synthetic resin film such as polyethylene film may optionally be provided to the base sheet 139. The size of the adhesive covering means 174 is large enough to cover and protect the whole area of the adhesive.
And, the portion of the surface of the adhesive covering means 174 or the base sheet 139 which cover or contact the adhesive may optionally be formed to have known adhesive repellent surface treated with silicone, waxy substance or other known material.
And, as the base sheet is aiming at the reuse of the sheet stock material, it is desirable for the reusable sheet 129 provided by the base sheet to have writable space. Thus, the base sheet may optionally be so formed as to provide writable blank space to the reusable sheet 129.
Generally, a sheet of sheet stock material is used to print some indication on the surface thereof. The indication may be design, advertisement or any other information. Thus, the indication printed on the surface of the base sheet is so printed as to secure and provide writable blank space to the reusable sheet 129.
Thus, said indication is so printed on the base sheet or on each compartment of the reusable sheet 129 formed by the dividing lines on the base sheet that at least any one face of the reusable sheet
129 may have writable space for the user to write desired instructions thereon.
Further, also in order to provide wider writable space to the reusable sheet 129, above said indications may optionally be replaced by a smaller indications such as trade mark, logos, name of a firm or the like. For example, on the wrapping sheet 391 in Fig.l2A a small trade mark 162 is indicated by printing(or pressing) instead of the design for chewing gum which is conventionally printed on the whole surface of the sheet 391. Thus, smaller indications such as trade mark, name of a firm, emblem, logo, or the like may be so indicated on each compartment of the base sheet 139 that said small indication may be indicated on each reusable sheet 129 detached or removed from the base sheet.
And, a known recess or recessed groove may optionally be formed on the part of the base sheet 139 where the adhesive 173 or 175 is applied in order to receive the adhesive and adhesive covering means 174.
The base sheet of the present invention is formed to be processed through normal printing, copying, and die-stamping operation where the sheets are stacked and must be of uniform thickness throughout their entire surface area. Thus, the recess is formed to have the same depth as the aggregate thickness of the adhesive covering means 174 and the layer of the adhesive applied to the base sheet 139, (and the layer of silicone or other known material if apphed to the adhesive covering means 174), so that the thickness of the base sheet 139 is uniform throughout its entire surface area.
Figures 2A and 2B show the base sheet 139 which includes a recess groove 136 of predetermined depth formed therein. A ribbon of adhesive 173 is apphed in the recess 136 and the adhesive covering means 174 is adhered in the recess by said adhesive.
The strip of adhesive 173 is somewhat narrower than the width of the groove 136 to provide a free, unattached edge parts along the marginal edges of the adhesive covering means 174. Said free, unattached edge part facilitates initial lifting of the adhesive covering means 174 from the adhesive 173 and facilitates removal of the adhesive covering means 174.
The clear space between the edge of the adhesive 173 and the edge of the recess provides a reduced thickness portion of the recess which in effect, produces a hinge line 136a shown in Fig.2B which, becasue of its reduced cross-sectional thickness, bends more easily than the adjacent portion of the base sheet 139.
A suitable apparatus known in the art for forming the recessed groove in the base sheet 139 is provided such as a pair of opposed rollers or pressing machine, and some part of the base sheet 139 is compressed to form the recessed groove 136 by that apparatus. Another embodiment of the base sheet 139 of the invention relates to that providing a reusable sheet for the address information Generally, on the surface of the envelopes, letter papers, cards, advertising leaflets, wrapping sheets or boxes for manufactured goods, and etc., there have always been some printed indicia indicating the address information, i.e., by whom it is dispatched, advertised, sended, given or manufactured.
In the specification, the term "address" or "address information" is used to wholly denote all these printed indicia indicating the address information. And the term "offerer" and "recipient" is used to denote all those who give and take a certain things, information, utilities, services or goods, respectively.
The recipient commonly desires or needs to write down the address of the offerer in order to write reply letter or refer to again at a later date. But, it is a tedious and hard task for the recipient to transcribe the address of the offerer. What is worse, writing error occurs in most cases in the course of transcription.
In order to eliminate those inconveniences and to prevent possible writing errors, further embodiments of the base sheet provide a column for address information which can easily be removed and reused by the recipient.
In the similar manner as that shown in Figs. 7B and 8A, the vertical and horizontal dividing lines (146A,... and 147A,...) enclose and secure a small portion 109 of the base sheets 139 as a column 119(119A, 119B,...) for the address of the offerer, where the conventional address of the offerer is indicated when the base sheet is used for a certain goods or purposes, and thereby form the base sheet 139 providing a reusable sheet 129(the small portion 109) on which the address of the offerer can be indicated. The dividing lines only extend to where they intersect the adjacent one of the dividing lines. Consequently, a closed dividing line extends about the entire periphery of the portion of the column 119.
The moderate size of the column 119 that I have found through experiments are as follows.
In the prior arts, for example, the size of labels for envelopes are determined to confoπn with the regulations of each state or the Universal Postal Convention. However, according to my experiments, the size of the column should be determined not only to conform with the regulations but also to meet with the desires of the recipients to use the column. First, the size of the column can be influenced by the size of the letters of each state. The Korean, Chinese, Japanese letters or words require relatively short length but those of the Western characters require relatively long length.
Second, the column for a large envelope for documents should have large size, but that for a line in one's directory must have narrow width to be fittedly adhered in a line.
Third, the size of the column can be influenced by the size of the host which provides the column. A large envelope can freely provide large column, but a small name card is suitable to provide small space for one or two lines in a personal directory.
On the other hand, the place where the column of the present invention will be attached by the recipient is between lines in a directory or at most the surface of an envelope.
Consequently, I have found that if the size of the column is moderate enough to be attached to or fit on an envelope that are not smaller than 90mm x 140mm and that are not larger than 120mm x
235mm, it will also fit on large envelopes for documents or parcels. It is preferable that, as shown in Fig. 8C, under the condition that the length L between the right and left marginal edge of the column 119 is not shorter than the height H between the upper and lower marginal edge thereof and the indicia is written longitudinally(horizontally) along the lenght L(as can be seen in column 119B in Fig.7B), the length L is not less than 25mm nor more than 110mm and the height H is not less than 3mm nor more than 65mm. Accordingly, there can be various sizes of the column
119. Thus, the size (height H x length L) may be 3mm x 25mm,
3mm x 35mm, 5mm x 45mm, 7mm x 70mm, 50mm x 90mm,... 65mm X 110mm.
And, the shape of the column 119 is in most cases tetragonal character, but it may have various shapes such as a heart mark formed by curved or irregular dividing line.
And, the adhesive is apphed to, along the dividing line(s) of, preferably on the whole surface of, the rear face of the column 119, opposite to the face where the address is indicated.
And when the column is provided by the small portion 109 of the base sheet itself, the adhesive is further apphed, along the periphery of the dividing line(s), to the part of the base sheet near to the dividing line(s). In Fig.8 A, the length and width of the area of the adhesive are a little larger than those of the column 119, such that the adhesive is applied to the column 119 and along the parts of the base sheet 139 adjacent to the column 119.
The adhesive for the column 119 may be any one of the adhesive 173 or the adhesive 175. And, the adhesive apphed to the rear face of the part for the column 119 may be protected by the adhesive covering means 174 of paper or synthetic resin film having adhesive repellent surface(such as the part drawn in slant lines in Figs. 7B through 8C). The size of the adhesive covering means 174 is large enough to cover and protect the whole area of the adhesive as shown in Fig.8 A.
And for the recipient who desires to reuse only the portion of the name and telephone number or the address of the offerer, a further column may be provided to the base sheet 139. In Figs.7B and etc., a further column 119B is formed by the dividing lines(146A, 146B, 147B and 147C) and a name and telephone number (M.H.CHO; 963-4608, for example) are filled therein for the recipient to keep it in one's telephone directory.
And, in the similar manner as shown in Figs. 2A and 2B and described in connection therewith, the portion of the base sheet 139 where the column is formed may optionally be pressed to form a recess or groove to receive the layer of the adhesive apphed to the rear surface of the column portion of the base sheet 139, the adhesive covering means 174 and the layer of silicone or other known material applied to the adhesive covering means 174. Thus, the recess may be formed to have the same depth as the aggregate thickness of the layer of the adhesive apphed to the column portion of the base sheet 139 and the adhesive covering means 174 and the layer of silicone or other known material applied to the adhesive covering means 174, such that the thickness of the base sheet 139 is uniform throughout its entire surface area.
Further, in addition to the column 119 for the address, a moderate space 120 for the same address may be provided near the column 119, if desired, as shown in Figs.7C and etc. Thus, when the column 119 having the address printed thereon is removed from the base sheet 139, the same address of the offerer can still be remained on the base sheet 139. A further embodiment of the base sheet 139 of the invention relates to that providing a reusable sheet for the address information in the form of a separate sheet attached thereto. In the similar manner as that shown in Fig.8B, a small sized sheet stock material 179 for above said column 119(119A, 119B,...) is separately prepared and attached to a certain part of the base sheet 139 where the conventional address of the offerer is indicated when the base sheet is used for a certain goods or purposes, and thereby form the base sheet 139 providing reusable sheet 129
(small sheet 179) on which the address information can be indicated.
The separate, small sheet 179 for the column 119 is attached to a certain part of the base sheet 139 by means of adhesive applied to the rear face of the small sheet 179. And the adhesive may be any one of above said adhesive 173 or the adhesive 175.
When the adhesive 175 is applied to the small sheet, as shown in Fig.8B, the portion of the surface of the base sheet 139 where the small sheet 179 is attached is formed to have above said adhesive repellent surface. Likewise, in the similar manner as shown in Figs. 2A and 2B and described in connection therewith, the portion of the base sheet 139 where a small sheet for the column is provided may optionally be pressed to form a recess or groove to receive the layer of the adhesive apphed to the separate column sheet, the separate column sheet and the layer of silicone or other known material applied to the portion of the base sheet 139 where the separate column sheet is attached.
The recess may be formed to have the same depth as the aggregate thickness of the layer of the adhesive applied to the separate column sheet, the separate column sheet and .the layer of sihcone or other known material applied to the portion of the base sheet 139 where the small sheet for the column is attached, such that the thickness of the base sheet 139 is uniform throughout its entire surface area. Further, the length and width of the area of the adhesive applied to the rear face of the small sheet 179 may be a little smaller than those of small sheet to provide a free, unattached edge parts along the marginal edges of the small sheet.
Accordingly, said free, unattached edge parts of the small sheet 179 facihtates removal of the small sheet from the surface of the base sheet 139. Still a further embodiment of the base sheet 139 of the invention relates to that providing a reusable sheet for the address information in the foπn of a separate label attached thereto. In the current markets, there have been some labels affixed to and provided together with a certain goods. The label for the column 119 has the following advantages and merits over the conventional labels.
First, the label for the column 119 is provided as an essential components of manufactured goods or services and, first of all, do the role of identifying the offerers of the products or services. On the other hand, the conventional labels are affixed not as an essential components of the products but only as an appendices such as coupons to promote sales. Second, the label for the column 119 is automatically provided, at no cost of the offerer at all, together with the goods wrapped up with or made of the sheet stock materials of the present invention. On the other hand, the conventional labels are additionally provided to a certain goods as an separate products at the offerer's expense of additional time, effort and money.
Third, the label for the column 119 is aiming at the reuse of the label after its original role are accomplished. On the other hand, the conventional labels can not be reused for any other purposes at all. And especially, the label for the column 119 has suitable size to indicate address information. On the other hand, there have not been any labels having moderate size for address information.
In the similar manner as that shown in Fig.8C, a small sized label 189 for above said column 119(119A, 119B,...) comprised of a small sized sheet stock material having a known backing sheet 188 are separately prepared and attached to a certain part of the base sheet 139 where the conventional address of the offerer is indicated when the base sheet is used for a certain goods or purposes, and thereby form the base sheet 139 providing reusable sheet 129(the label 189) on which the address information can be indicated. And, in the similar manner as shown in Figs. 2A and 2B and described in connection therewith, the portion of the base sheet 139 where the separate label for column is provided may optionally be pressed to form a recess or groove to receive the layer of the adhesive apphed to the separate label for the column and the backing sheet, the separate label, the backing sheet, and the layer of sihcone or other known material apphed to the backing sheet. And, the recess may be formed to have the same depth as the aggregate thickness of the layer of the adhesive applied to the separate label and the backing sheet, the separate label, the backing sheet and the layer of silicone or other known material applied to the backing sheet.
As hithertofore explained, the space or column 119(119A,...) for the address of the offerer is provided to the base sheet 139 in the form of any one of the small portion 109 of the base sheets 139 itself, a separate, small sized sheet 179 or a separate, small sized label 189 having a backing sheet 188. Thus, for convenience, the term "column 119" is used to denote any one of these small portion 109 of the base sheets 139, a small sized sheet 179 and a small sized label 189 having a backing sheet 188 throughout the specification.
In Fig. IB, there is provided a single-ply, above described, base sheet 139 which comprises one of a plurality of such sheets in a continuous web 137 of sheet stock material, the additional base sheets 139 being illustrated adjacent opposite ends of the base sheet 139 and connected thereto by the lines of perforations or slits 148.
Thus, the continuous base sheet assembly comprises a continuous web or strip 137 having a continuous series of base sheets 139. Each base sheet 139 in the continuous base sheet assembly may be the one which provides writable and reusable sheet and/or has a small portion 109, a small sheet 179 or a small label 189, for the address information.
Further, known marginal feed strips 138 may optionally be disposed along edges 66 and 68 of the base sheets 139 comprising the continuous web or strip 137, each provided with known tractor holes 135, to facilitate continuous feeding through computer output printers. The marginal feed strips 138 are connected to the edges 66 and 68 of the base sheets 139 along marginal lines 136 of perforations or slits.
A further embodiment of sheet stock material of the present invention relates to a thicker sheet stock material comprised of more than one sheet of above said base sheet 139 for the post cards, boxes, containers or the like. In Figs. 3A and etc, two sheets of the base sheet (139A and 139B) are overlapped to each other and joined to form a thicker sheet stock material 169 of the present invention.
Connecting part 150(150A, 150B,...) having a moderate width and length is provided to each of the base sheets 139, and said connecting parts 150 of any one base sheet are put together to the corresponding connecting parts 150 of the other base sheet, respectively, and thereby the base sheets form a sheet of thicker, single-ply sheet stock material(a single-ply piled base sheet 169) of the present invention. In Figs. 3A and 3B, the upper and lower connecting parts 150A and 150B of the base sheet 139A are put together to the upper and lower connecting parts 150A and 150B of the base sheet 139B, respectively.
The connecting parts may be repeatedly at intervals, vertically and/or horizontally provided along and between the upper and lower and/or right and left marginal edge of the piled base sheet. For examples, in Fig.3B the connecting parts 150A and 150B are formed at the upper and lower marginal edge part of each base sheet 139A and 139B respectively, and in Figs. 5 A and 5B the base sheets 139A and 139B are joined to each other at the upper, lower, right and left connecting parts 150, and vertical and/or horizontal connecting parts 150 and thereby form a piled base sheet 169.
And as shown in Figs. 5B and 5D, the connecting parts 150 between the upper and lower and/or right and left marginal edge of the piled base sheet 169 may optionally be formed to be positioned along and on both sides of the fold lines 155. The connecting parts 150 of any one base sheet 139 are put together to those of the other base sheet 139 by adhesive bonding or thermal pressing or hot melting. The adhesive bonding the connecting parts 150 of the base sheets 139(139A,...) to each other may be known glue, tacky, permanent adhesive, or releasable and repositionable adhesive.
The middle part 149 between the connecting parts 150 or enclosed . by the connecting parts is used to provide the reusable sheet 129. And, the dividing lines 146A... and/or 147 A... described and shown in connection with the base sheet 139 may also be provided to the middle part 149 of each base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169. And, as shown in Figs. 3 A and 3B, at every connecting part 150 of each base sheet 139 one of the dividing lines is so positioned along or close to said connecting part 150 that reusable sheet 129 may easily be detached from the connecting part 150.
And, the adhesive 173 or 175 described and shown in connection with the base sheet 139 is also so provided, along the dividing line(s), on the middle part 149 of each base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 that the adhesive 173 or 175 may be provided to the reusable sheet 129 when it is detached from the piled base sheet 169. When the adhesive 175 is applied to any one base sheet 139, the portion of the surface of the juxtaposed base sheet 139 which faces the adhesive 175 is formed to have above said adhesive repellent surface. The dividing lines on any one base sheet(such as 146 A, 147 A, and 147B on the base sheet 139A in Fig.3A) may be formed to be coincident with those of the other base sheet(139B in Fig.3A).
However, it is preferable that the dividing lines on any one base sheet are formed not to be coincident with those on the other base sheet. For example, in Fig.3B, the distances among the dividing lines 146A, 146B and 146C on each base sheet 139A and 139B are all the same to each other. But, the dividing line 146 A on the base sheet 139A is at a short distance from the inner marginal edge of the connecting part 150 and the dividing line 146A on the base sheet 139B is close to the inner marginal edge of the connecting part 150. With these arrangements, the dividing lines on each base sheet are not coincident with each other when these base sheets form the piled base sheet 169. When the adhesive is applied along the dividing line and the dividing lines on each base sheet are formed not to be coincident with each other, the adhesive may help to prevent the light, air, or moisture passing the dividing line and to strengthen the tensile strength of the dividing line of each base sheet and thereby to prevent the dividing line to be splitted of itself, and also to strengthen the tensile strength of the piled base sheet 169 itself.
And, when several sheets of the base sheet 139 are overlaid to form a piled base sheet 169, the face of any one base sheet 139 having the adhesive 173 or 175 is so positioned to face the surface of juxtaposed base sheet 139 and thereby the adhesive on the surface of any one base sheet may be protected by juxtaposed base sheet. However, for a special goods or purposes the adhesive may be apphed on the outer surface of the piled base sheet 169, if required, and it may be protected by the adhesive covering means 174.
The face of each base sheet 139 having the writable surface and space may preferably be positioned to face the surface of juxtaposed base sheet 139 as to provide neat and clean writable surface and space to the reusable sheet 129. However, if required, the writable surface and space may be positioned on the outer surface of the piled base sheet 169.
The base sheets 139A and 139B comprising a piled base sheet 169 hithertofore explained are all the same in size. But, among the base sheets 139 the size of any one may be different to that of the other in order to be fit for various uses of the piled base sheet 169.
Another embodiment of the piled base sheet 169 of the invention relates to that providing a reusable sheet for the address information. In the similar manner as that shown in Figs. 7B and 8 A, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139, above said dividing lines enclose and secure a small portion 109 of any one of the base sheets 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 as a column 119(119A, 119B,...) for the address of the offerer, where the conventional address of the offerer is indicated when the piled base sheet is used for a certain goods or purposes, and thereby form the piled base sheet 169 providing reusable sheet(the small portion 109) on which the address of the offerer can be indicated.
Above said adhesive 173 or 175 for the column 119, further columns 119, and a moderate space 120 for further address described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig. IA may also be provided to the base sheets 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169.
The adhesive 173 or 175 apphed to the column 119 of any one base sheet 139 is protected by the surface of the juxtaposed base sheet 139. Further, when the aggressively tacky non-drying adhesive 175 is apphed to the column 119, the part of the surface of the juxtaposed base sheet 139 which faces the adhesive 175 of the column 119 is formed to have above said adhesive repellent surface. And, in the similar manner as that shown in Fig.8B and described in connection therewith, in order to provide even surface, the part of the surface of the base sheet 139 which contacts the adhesive 173 or 175 applied to the column 119 of the juxtaposed base sheet 139 may optionally be pressed to form a recess to fittedly receive said adhesive 173 or 175.
A further embodiment of the piled base sheet 169 of the invention relates to that providing a reusable sheet for the address information in the form of a separate sheet attached thereto.
In the similar manner as that shown in Fig.8B, a small sized sheet stock material 179 for above said column 119(119A, 119B,...) is separately prepared and attached to a certain part of any one of the base sheets 139 comprising a piled base sheet 169, where the conventional address of the offerer is indicated when the piled base sheet is used for a certain goods or purposes, and thereby form the piled base sheet 169 providing reusable sheet 129(small sheet 179) on which the address can be indicated.
The separate, small sheet 179 for the column 119 is attached to a certain part of the base sheet 139 by means of adhesive applied to the rear face of the small sheet 179. And the adhesive may be above said releasable and repositionable adhesive 173 or known tacky adhesive 175 used for conventional labels.
And, when the tacky adhesive 175 is applied to the small sheet, the portion of the surface of the base sheet 139 where the small sheet 179 is attached is formed to have above said adhesive repellent surface.
And, in the similar manner as that shown in Fig.8B and described in connection therewith, in order to provide even surface, the portion of the surface of the base sheet 139 where the small sheet 179 is attached may optionally be pressed to form a recess to fittedly receive the small sheet.
Further, the length and width of the area of the adhesive applied to the rear face of the small sheet 179 may be a little smaller than those of small sheet to provide a free, unattached edge parts along the marginal edges of the small sheet. Accordingly, said free, unattached edge parts of the small sheet 179 facilitates removal of the small sheet from the surface of the piled base sheet 169.
Still a further embodiment of the piled base sheet 169 of the invention relates to that providing a reusable sheet for the address information in the form of a separate label attached thereto.
In the similar manner as that shown in Fig.8C, a small sized label 189 for above said column 119(119A,...) comprised of a small sized sheet stock material and a known backing sheet 188 are separately prepared and attached to a certain part of any one of the base sheets 139 comprising a piled base sheet 169, where the conventional address of the offerer is indicated when the piled base sheet is used for a certain goods or purposes, and thereby form the piled base sheet 169 providing reusable sheet 129(the label 189) on which the address information can be indicated.
And, in the similar manner as that shown in Fig.8C and described in connection therewith, in order to provide even surface, the portion of the surface of the base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 where the small label 189 together with the backing sheet 188 is attached may optionally be pressed to form a recess to fittedly receive the label together with the backing sheet.
In Fig.3C, there is provided a single-ply, above described, piled base sheet 169 which comprises one of a plurality of such sheets in a continuous web or strip 167 of sheet stock material, the additional piled base sheets being illustrated adjacent opposite ends of the piled base sheet and connected thereto by the lines of perforations or slits 148.
Thus, the continuous piled base sheet assembly comprises a continuous web or strip 167 having a continuous series of piled base sheet 169. Each piled base sheet 169 in the continuous piled base sheet assembly may be the one which provides writable and reusable sheet and/or has a small portion 109, a small sheet 179 or a small label 189, for the address information.
Further, known marginal feed strips 138, tractor holes 135, marginal lines 136 of perforations or slits shown in Fig. IB and described in connection therewith may also optionally be provided to the continuous web or strip 167. Still a further embodiment of the present invention relates to an airtight bag or receptacle made of a single sheet of synthetic resin sheet stock material of the present invention.
The airtight bags for commercial goods such as cookies, chips, noodles or the like are well known. They are generally made of sheet of synthetic resin film having nonporous surface and are sealed by thermal pressing or hot melting to prevent the light, air or moisture passing theretiirough. However, in the prior arts or current markets, there have not been any airtight bags of synthetic resin sheet stock material which provide reusable and/or writable sheet stock material.
Figure 4 illustrates the base sheet 139 of the present invention forming an airtight bag 311. The material of the base sheet for the airtight bag 311 is synthetic resin sheet stock material.
The procedure forming an airtight bag 311 with the base sheet 139 is as follows.
First, the base sheet 139 is cut to have tetragonal shape and size similar to those of conventional bags for cookies, chips or the like in the current markets. And, joining parts 310 having a moderate width are secured along the upper, lower, right and left marginal edge of the cut base sheet 139, respectively.
The middle part 149 between the joining parts 310 provides the reusable sheet 129 to the users.
And, the dividing lines 146A... and/or 147A... described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA are also provided to the middle part 149. In Fig.4, at every joining part 310(310A, 31 OB, 3 IOC,...) one of the dividing lines is so positioned along or close to the joining part 310 that the reusable sheet 129 may easily be detached from the joining part 310.
The adhesive 173 described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA is also so provided, along the dividing line(s), on the middle part 149 of the base sheet 139 that the adhesive 173 may be provided to the reusable sheet 129 when it is detached from the airtight bag 311. And, the adhesive 173 applied to the base sheet 139 for the airtight bag 311 is protected by the adhesive covering means 174. Further, the writable surface and space, the adhesive 173, and the adhesive covering means 174 described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA may optionally be placed on the inner and/or outer surface of the middle part 149 of the base sheet 139 comprising the airtight bag 311.
The joining part 310 at the right marginal edge is joined to that of the left marginal edge by thermal pressing or hot melting and thereby the cut base sheet forms the shape of a cylinder.
And the lower part of said cylinder is folded and united by thermal pressing, the contents of a certain goods are included in the bag, the upper part of the bag is folded and united also by thermal pressing, and the cut base sheet 139 finally becomes a perfect airtight bag 311.
In Fig.4, the joining part 310A denotes the joined joining part
310 of the right and left marginal edge of the cut base sheet 139, and the joining part 31 OB and 3 IOC denote the folded and joined joining part 310 of the lower and upper part of the cut base sheet
139, respectively.
Further embodiments of the airtight bags 311 of the present invention is directed to the airtight bags providing reusable sheet on which the address information can be indicated.
In the similar manners as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139, a column 119(119A, 119B,...) for the address of the offerer is provided to a certain part of the middle part 149 between the joining parts 310 of the airtight bag where the conventional address of the offerer is indicated.
The column 119 may be provided by any one of above said small portion 109 of the base sheet 139 itself, a small sheet 179 separately prepared and attached to the base sheet 139, or a small label 189 having a backing sheet attached to the base sheet 139, comprising the base sheet 139 for the airtight bag 311, respectively, in the same ways as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139. And, above said adhesive 173 or 175 for the column 119, further columns 119, and a moderate space for further address, the adhesive covering means 174, the recess for the column 119, the adhesive repellent surface of the portion of the base sheet 139, and etc., described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139 may also optionally be provided to the base sheets 139 for the airtight bag 311.
Still a further embodiment of the present invention relates to a cubic packing box made of paper sheet stock material of the present invention.
The cubic paper boxes or receptacles for containing general goods or things are well known, and the method of cutting paper sheet and providing foldlines thereto to form them is also well known. In the prior arts or current markets, there have not been any paper boxes which provide reusable and/or writable sheet stock material.
Figure 5 A illustrates the base sheet 139 cut to form a box 313. The material of the base sheet 139 for the box 313 is paper sheet stock material.
In the same manner as those for a conventional hexahedral box, the base sheet 139 for a wrapping box 313 is cut, along the cutting lines 156 to have a plurality of wide sides 312(312A, 312B,...) which becomes the fore, rear, right, left, upper and bottom side of a cubic box and other small sides or flaps 314(314 A, 314B,...) to be folded and/or connected to the other sides or flaps. And vertical and/or horizontal foldlines 155(155 A, 155B,...) are provided, along which these flaps and sides are to be folded. . . .
The dividing lines 146 A... and/or 147 A... are provided to the wide sides 312 in the same manner as those described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA, as shown in Fig.5A. The dividing lines are so positioned along or close to the foldlines 155 that the reusable sheet 129 of the wide sides 312 can easily be detached from the wide sides 312.
And, the adhesive 173, the writable surface, blank space and/or other features or articles are also provided or formed to the base sheet 139 comprising the box 313 in the same manner as those described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA. Further embodiments of the paper box 313 is directed to the paper box 313 providing reusable sheet on which the address information can be indicated.
In the similar manners as those shown in Figs. 8 A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139, a column 119(119A, 119B,...) for the address of the offerer is provided to a certain part of the wide sides 312 of the paper box 313 where the conventional address of the offerer is indicated.
The column 119 may be provided by any one of above said small portion 109 of the base sheet 139 itself, a small sheet 179 separately prepared and attached to the base sheet 139, or a small label 189 having a backing sheet attached to the base sheet 139, comprising the base sheet 139 for the paper box 313, respectively, in the same ways as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139.
And, above said adhesive 173 or 175 for the column 119, further columns 119, and a moderate space for further address, the adhesive covering means 174, the recess for the column 119, the adhesive repellent surface of the portion of the base sheet 139, and etc., described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139 may also optionally be provided to the base sheets 139 for the paper box 313.
Still a further embodiment of the present invention relates to a cubic packing box made of piled paper sheet stock material of the present invention. Figure 5B illustrates the piled base sheet 169 for a box 315 comprised of two base sheets 139A and 139B with some part of the base sheet 139A being broken.
In the same manner as those for a conventional hexahedral box, the piled base sheet 169 for the wrapping box 315 is cut, along the cutting lines 156 to have a plurality of wide sides 316(316A, 316B,...) which becomes the fore, rear, right, left, upper and bottom side of a cubic box and other small sides or flaps 317(317A, 317B,...) to be folded and/or connected to the other sides or flaps, and vertical and/or horizontal foldlines 155(155A, 155B,...) are provided, along which these flaps and sides are to be folded. And, the connecting parts 150 shown in Figs. 3A and 3B and described in connection therewith are so provided along and between the upper and lower and/or right and left marginal edge of the piled base sheet 169 that the connecting parts 150 may be provided to the marginal edges of the sides 316 and/or flaps 317 of the box 315 defined by the cutting lines 156 and/or the foldlines 155.
For example, in Fig.5B, at the smaller flap 317A, the connecting parts 150 are so positioned along the marginal edge and foldline that the whole area of each flap 317A is comprised of the connecting parts 150. On the other hand, on the wide side 316A, connecting parts 150 are positioned along the right, left, upper and lower foldline 155. Thus, the part of each of the base sheets 139 comprising (corresponding to) the wide sides 316 can have the middle part 149 providing reusable sheet 129.
And, the dividing lines 146 A... and/or 147 A... are provided to the middle part 149 in the same manner as those described in connection with each base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 in Figs. 3A and 3B.
And, as shown in Fig.5B, at every connecting part 150 one of the dividing lines is so positioned along or close to the connecting part 150 that the reusable sheet 129 of the middle part 149 can easily be detached from the connecting part 150.
And, the adhesive 173, the writable surface, blank space and/or other features or articles are also provided or formed to each base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 for the box 315 in the same manner as those described in connection with each base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 in Figs. 3A and 3B.
In order to form a box 315, the flap 317A at the left marginal edge of the base sheet 169 in Fig. 5B is overlapped and joined to the side 316 of the right marginal edge thereof and other sides 316 and flaps 317 are also folded and/or connected to each other, by known adhesive, thermal pressing, hot melting, stapling and the like.
Further embodiments of the paper box 315 is directed to the paper box 315 providing reusable sheet on which the address information can be indicated. hi the similar manners as those shown in Figs. 8 A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with above said piled base sheet 169, a column 119(119A, 119B,...) for the address of the offerer is provided to a certain part of the wide sides 316 of the paper box 315 where the conventional address of the offerer is indicated.
The column 119 may be provided by any one of above said small portion 109 of the base sheet 139 itself, a small sheet 179 separately prepared and attached to the base sheet 139, or a small label 189 having a backing sheet attached to the base sheet 139, comprising the piled base sheet 169 for the paper box 315, respectively, in the same ways as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the piled base sheet 169.
And, above said adhesive 173 or 175 for the column 119, further columns 119, and a moderate space for further address, the adhesive covering means 174, the recess for the column 119, the adhesive repellent surface of the portion of the base sheet 139, and etc., described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139 may also optionally be provided to the base sheets 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 for the paper box 315.
Still a further embodiment of the present invention relates to an airtight pack for drinkables made of paper sheet stock material of the present invention.
The airtight paper packs, sealed by thermal pressing or hot melting, for beverages are well known. They are generally made of thicker sheet stock material of paper any one face or both faces of which are coated with synthetic resin material such as layer of vinyl or the like. The method of cutting paper sheet and providing foldlines thereto to form these packs for drinkables is also well known. In the prior arts or current markets, there have not been any airtight paper packs for drinkables which provide reusable and/or writable sheet stock material. In Fig.5C, the base sheet 139 for the paper pack 319 is cut, along the cutting lines 156 to have a plurality of wide sides 318(318A, 318B,...) which becomes the fore, rear, right, and left side of a prismatically shaped paper pack and other small flaps 320(320A, 320B,...) to be folded and/or connected to the other sides or flaps, and vertical and/or horizontal foldlines 155(155A, 155B,...) are provided, along which these flaps and sides are to be folded. And, the dividing lines 146 A... and/or 147 A... are also provided to the wide sides 318 in the same manner as those described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA. As shown in Fig.5C, the dividing lines is so positioned along or close to the foldline 155 that the reusable sheet 129 of the wide sides 318 may easily be detached from the wide sides 318.
As described earlier, in order to prevent the light, air or moisture to pass through the dividing lines, synthetic resin materials, pigments, additives, minerals or any other known materials may be coated, applied, or laminated along the dividing line or on the surface of the base sheet 139 for the airtight paper pack 319 after the dividing line(s) is provided to the base sheet 139. For example, a thin polyethylene film layer may be coated on the surface of the base sheet 139 after the dividing hnes are formed to the base sheet.
And, the adhesive 173, the writable surface, blank space and/or other features or articles are also provided or formed to the base sheet 139 comprising the paper pack 319 in the same manner as those described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA.
Further embodiments of the paper pack 319 is directed to the paper pack 319 providing reusable sheet on which the address information can be indicated.
In the similar manners as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet
139, a column 119(119A, 119B,...) for the address of the offerer is provided to a certain part of the wide sides 318 of the paper pack
319 where the conventional address of the offerer is indicated.
The column 119 may be provided by any one of above said small portion 109 of the base sheet 139 itself, a small sheet 179 separately prepared and attached to the base sheet 139, or a small label 189 having a backing sheet attached to the base sheet 139, comprising the base sheet 139 for the airtight paper pack 319, respectively, in the same ways as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139. And, above said adhesive 173 or 175 for the column 119, further columns 119, and a moderate space for further address, the adhesive covering means 174, the recess for the column 119, the adhesive repellent surface of the portion of the base sheet 139, and etc., described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139 may also optionally be provided to the base sheets 139 for the airtight paper pack 319.
Still a further embodiment of the present invention relates to an airtight receptacle for drinkables made of piled paper sheet stock material of the present invention.
Figure 5D illustrates the piled base sheet 169 for an airtight paper pack 321 for drinkables comprised of two base sheets 139A and 139B with some part of the base sheet 139A being broken. h the same manner as those for a conventional airtight paper pack, the piled base sheet 169 for the airtight paper pack 321 is cut to have a plurality of wide sides 322(322A, 322B,...) which becomes the fore, rear, right, and left side of a prismatically shaped paper pack and other small flaps 323(323A, 323B,...) to be folded and/or connected to the other sides or flaps, and vertical and/or horizontal foldlines 155(155A, 155B,...) are provided, along which these flaps and sides are to be folded. These sides and flaps are folded along the foldlines and sealed by thermal pressing or hot melting.
And, the connecting parts 150 shown in Figs. 3 A and 3B and described in connection therewith are so provided along and between the upper and lower and/or right and left marginal edge of the piled base sheet 169 for the airtight paper pack 321 that the connecting parts 150 may be provided to the marginal edges of the sides 322 and/or flaps 323 of the airtight paper pack 321 defined by the cutting lines 156 and/or the foldlines 155.
For example, in Fig.5D, at the smaller flap 323A, the connecting parts 150 are so positioned along the marginal edge and foldline that the whole area of the flap 323A is comprised of the connecting parts
150. And, on the wide side 322 A, the connecting parts 150 are positioned along the upper, lower, right and left foldline thereof.
Thus, the part of each of the base sheets 139 comprising the sides 322 of the airtight paper pack 321 can have the middle part
149 providing reusable sheet 129 as shown in Fig.5D. And, the dividing lines 146 A... and/or 147 A... are also provided to the middle part 149 in the same manner as those described in connection with the base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 in Figs. 3 A and 3B.
And, as shown in Fig.5D, at every connecting part 150 one of the dividing lines is so positioned along or close to the connecting part 150 that the reusable sheet 129 of the middle part 149 can easily be detached from the connecting part 150.
Also as described earlier, in order to prevent the light, air or moisture to pass through the dividing lines, synthetic resin materials, pigments, additives, minerals or any other known materials may be coated, applied, or laminated along the dividing line or on the surface of the base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 for the airtight paper pack 321 after the dividing line(s) is provided to each base sheet 139.
For example, a thin polyethylene film layer may be coated on the surface of each base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 for the airtight paper pack 321 after the dividing lines are formed to each base sheet 139.
And, the adhesive 173, the writable surface, blank space and/or other features or articles are also provided or formed to each base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 for the airtight paper pack 321 in the same manner as those described in connection with each base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 in Figs. 3 A and 3B.
The flap 323 A at the left marginal edge of the base sheet 169 in Fig. 5D is overlapped and joined to the side 322 at the left marginal edge thereof by thermal pressing or hot melting and the upper and lower part of the piled base sheet 169 are folded along the foldline and sealed by thermal pressing or hot melting in the same manner and method as those known in the art.
Further embodiments of the airtight paper pack 321 is directed to the airtight paper pack 321 providing reusable sheet on which the address information can be indicated. hi the similar manners as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with above said piled base sheet 169, a column 119(119A, 119B,...) for the address of the offerer is provided to a certain part of the wide sides 322 of the airtight paper pack

Still a further embodiment of the present invention relates to a wall calendar made of sheet stock material of the present invention.
Conventionally, twelve sheets of large paper sheet each of which has different monthly information of the calendar are gathered and form a wall calendar set. In the prior arts or current markets, there have not been any calendar sets which provide reusable and/or writable sheet stock material.
In Fig.lA, the information of the calendar days, month and year is indicated on the fore face 151 of the base sheet 139 as examples of printing and the rear face thereof is left in blank space. In Fig.lA, the calendar days are printed in each compartment formed by the dividing lines 146 A... and 147 A... and strip of the releasable and repositionable adhesive 173 is applied, alternately along the dividing lines 147 A..., to the fore face 151 of the base sheet 139. And the strips of adhesive covering means 174 is provided to protect the adhesive 173. The adhesive 173 may be applied to the rear face 171 of the base sheet 139. And in this case, the adhesive can be protected by the juxtaposed sheet of the calendar, and to protect the adhesive applied to the rear face of the last sheet of the calendar, an additional covering sheet of paper or synthetic resin film can be provided.
Further embodiments of wall calendar is directed to the calendar providing reusable sheet on which the address information can be indicated.
In the similar manners as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet

And, above said adhesive 173 or 175 for the column 119, further columns 119, and a moderate space for further address, the adhesive covering means 174, the recess for the column 119, the adhesive repellent surface of the portion of the base sheet 139, and etc., described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139 may also optionally be provided to the base sheets 139 for the calendar sheet.
Further, above said piled base sheet 169 shown in Figs. 3 A and 3B and described in connection therewith can also be used as the sheets for a wall calendar set. The piled base sheet 169 is suitable for calendar sheet both faces of which have printed indications. A picture or the like may be drawn on any one face of the base sheet 169 and calendar informtions may be printed on the other face thereof. Further embodiments of the calendar made of the piled base sheet 169 is directed to the calendar providing reusable sheet on which the address information can be indicated.
In the similar manners as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with above said piled base sheet 169, a column 119(119A, 119B,...) for the address of the offerer is provided to a certain part of the calendar where the conventional address of the offerer is indicated.

And, above said adhesive 173 or 175 for the column 119, further columns 119, and a moderate space for further address, the adhesive covering means 174, the recess for the column 119, the adhesive repellent surface of the portion of the base sheet 139, and etc., described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139 may also optionally be provided to the base sheets 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 for the calendar sheet.
Still a further embodiment of the present invention relates to a label made of sheet stock material of the present invention.
Conventionally, a certain indicia such as trade mark, design, advertisement or the like is printed on the fore face of a label and permanent adhesive is applied to the rear face thereof, and said adhesive is protected by backing sheets having adhesive repellent surface. However, in the prior arts or current markets, there have not been any labels which provide reusable and/or writable sheet stock material.
Figure 6A illustrates the first embodiment of the label 325 made of the base sheet 139 of the present invention. The base sheet 139 is cut to have moderate shape and size similar to those of conventional labels. Adhering parts 326 having a moderate width are provided along the right and left(and/or upper and lower) marginal edge of the rear face 171 of the base sheet 139, respectively. And the adhesive 175 or the adhesive 173 is applied on the adhering parts 326.
The middle part 149 between the adhering parts 326 provides the reusable sheet 129 to the users. And, the dividing lines 146 A... and/or 147 A... described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA are also provided to the middle part 149.
And, as shown in Fig. 6A, at every adhering part 326 one of the dividing lines is so positioned along or close to the marginal edge of the adhering part 326 that the reusable sheet 129 may easily be detached from the adhering part 326.
And, the adhesive 173 described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA is also so provided, along the dividing line, on the middle part 149 of the base sheet that the adhesive 173 may be provided to the reusable sheet 129 when it is detached from the label 325.
Figure 6B illustrates a further embodiment of the label 325 made of the base sheet 139 of the present invention. In this embodiment almost all the features are all the same as those described in connection with the label in Fig.6A, but the adhesive 173 is applied, along the dividing line, on the middle part 149 on the fore face of the base sheet where conventionally a certain indicia for a label is printed. And the adhesive covering means 174 covers and protects the adhesive 173.
Normally, a certain indicia is indicated on the whole surface of the fore face of a label. Further, in the present invention in order to maximize the effect of advertisement a certain indicia 327 may be indicated on the middle part 149 of the label 325 and the same or some part of the indicia 327 may also be indicated on the fore face of the adhering part 326 of the label 325 as shown in Fig.6B.
With these arrangements, when the middle part 149 of the label 325 is detached from the host to which the label is attached, as the same indicia 327 or some part of the indicia 327 is still remained to the host, the effect of advertisement can be maximized. And, the adhesive 173 applied to the base sheet 139 for the label 325 may be protected by the known backing sheet for a label, adhesive covering means 174 or the surface of a host to which the label is attached. For example, when the label of the invention is used for the bottle of beer, alcoholic drink, or other beverages, the adhesive 173 and 175 applied to the label 325 may be protected by the surface of the bottle instead of a backing sheet.
And the writable surface and space described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA may optionally be placed on the inner or outer surface of the middle part 149 of the base sheet 139 comprising the label 325.
Further embodiments of the label 325 of the present invention is directed to the label 325 providing reusable sheet on which the address information can be indicated.
In the prior arts, there have not been any labels having address information which is provided as an essential component of a certain sheet stock material.
In the similar manners as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet
139, a column 119(119A, 119B,...) for the address of the offerer is provided to a certain part of the label 325 where the conventional address of the offerer is indicated.
The column 119 may be provided by any one of above said small portion 109 of the base sheet 139 itself or a small sheet 179 separately prepared and attached to the base sheet 139 comprising the base sheet 139 for the lavel 325, respectively, in the same ways as those shown in Figs. 8A and 8B, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139.
And, above said adhesive 173 or 175 for the column 119, further columns 119, and a moderate space for further address, the adhesive covering means 174, the recess for the column 119, the adhesive repellent surface of the portion of the base sheet 139, and etc., described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139 may also optionally be provided to the base sheets 139 for the label 325. In Fig.6C, there is provided the label 325 togetherr with the backing sheet which comprises one of a plurality of such labels in a continuous web or strip 328 of labels, the additional label 325 being illustrated adjacent opposite ends of the label 325 and connected thereto by the lines of perforations or slits 148.
Thus, the continuous label assembly comprises a continuous web or strip 328 having a continuous series of label 325. Each label 325 in the continuous label assembly may be the one which provides writable and reusable sheet and/or has a small portion 109 or a small sheet 179 for the address.
Further, known marginal feed strips 138, tractor holes 135, marginal lines 136 of perforations or slits shown in Fig. IB and described in connection therewith may also optionally be provided to the continuous web or strip 328.
Still a further embodiment of the present invention relates to an envelope for letters or documents made of paper sheet stock material of the present invention.
Generally, there has been several types of envelope, e.g. a letter envelope, a window envelope, large envelope for documents (wrapper), or the like. In the specification, the term "envelope" is used to wholly denote all these kinds of envelopes.
In the prior arts or current markets, there have not been any envelopes which provide reusable and/or writable sheet stock material.
The first embodiment of an envelope is shown in Fig.7A which shows the inside of an envelope 331 comprised of the base sheet 139 being cut, along the cutting lines 156, to have moderate shape and size similar to those of conventional envelopes.
In Fig.7A, the numeral 330 denotes the rear surface of the front side of an envelope 331 and the numeral 332 denotes the flaps which are folded and forming the rear side of an envelope 331. The numeral 155(155 A...) denote the foldline, along which the flaps are to be folded down, and the numeral 335 denotes the joining part on which the conventional glues or remoistenable adhesive for envelopes are applied to connect the flaps to each other. The opening flap is designated as numeral 336 and the numeral 334 denotes the transparent window formed in the conventional window envelope. The envelope 331 may be the one which has a patched die-cut window for viewing the address information through the window or the one which has no window at all. And, the dividing lines 146 A... and/or 147 A... described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA are also provided to the base sheet 139 for the envelope 331.
And, some of the dividing lines are so positioned to be coincident with or close to the foldlines 155 that the reusable sheet 129 of the middle part 149 can easily be detached from the envelope.
Further, the adhesive 173 described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA is also so provided along the dividing line(s) of the base sheet 139 that the adhesive 173 may be provided to the reusable sheet 129 when it is detached from the envelope.
And, the adhesive 173 applied to the base sheet 139 for the envelope 331 may be protected by the adhesive covering means 174 or a large sheet of transparent cellophane film such as is used for conventional window envelope. And the writable surface and space described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA may optionally be placed on the inner and/or outer surface of the base sheet 139 comprising the envelope 331. And, the adhesive 173 and the adhesive covering means 174 may also optionally be provided to the inner and/or outer surface of the envelope 331.
Further embodiments of the envelopes 331 is directed to the envelopes providing reusable sheet on which the address information can be indicated.
In the similar manners as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet

The column 119 may be provided by any one of above said small portion 109 of the base sheet 139 itself(as shown in Fig.7B), a small sheet 179 separately prepared and attached to the base sheet 139(as shown in Fig 7C), or a small label 189 having a backing sheet attached to the base sheet 139(as shown in Fig.7D), comprising the base sheet 139 for the envelope 331, respectively, in the same ways as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139. And, above said adhesive 173 or 175 for the column 119, further columns 119, and a moderate space for further address, the adhesive covering means 174, the recess for the column 119, the adhesive repellent surface of the portion of the base sheet 139, and etc., described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139 may also optionally be provided to the base sheets 139 for the envelope 331.
Further, in order to manufacture with ease and less expenses, when the column 119 is provided by above said small portion 109 of the base sheet 139 itself as shown in Fig.7B and the envelope is a window envelope, the adhesive apphed to the inner surface of the small portion 109 may be protected by the transparent cellophane film attached for the window.
In this case, the cellophane film is prepared to have enough size to wholly cover the window and the small portion 109. The adhesive is applied to the inner surface of the small portion 109 and around the dividing lines enclosing and securing said small portion 109, and also around the window. And, the portion of the cellophane film which faces the adhesive applied to the inner surface of the small portion 109 is treated to have adhesive repellent surface.
Further embodiments of the present invention relates to continuous business form assembhes, and especially such assemblies of the type forming continuous envelope mailers providing column for the address of the offerer and for use with printers using computer-generated variable information.
In the art, there have been numerous forms or envelope mailers which are formed from continuous single webs and readily enable computer generated message and address information to be printed thereon. However, in the prior arts or current markets, there have not been any envelope mailers which provide reusable and/or writable sheet stock material.
Turning now to the embodiment hereof illustrated in Fig.7E, there is provided a single-ply, above described, base sheet 139 which comprises one of a plurality of such envelope mailers 333 in a continuous web or strip 337 of sheet stock material, the additional mailers 333 being illustrated adjacent opposite ends of the mailer 333 and connected thereto by the lines of perforations or slits 148. Thus, the continuous envelope mailers assembly comprises a continuous web or strip 337 having a continuous series of envelope mailer 333. And, on the base sheet 139 of the envelope mailer 333 a horizontal foldline 155 extends from left edge 66 to right edge 68 and medially between the top edge 64 and bottom edge 62.
The upper part 338 defining the front side of an envelope and the lower part 339 defining the rear side thereof are folded along the foldlinel55 and form the envelope mailer 333.
And, above said column 119 for the address of the addresser is repeatedly provided to a certain part of each upper part 338 where the conventional address of the addresser is indicated, in the same manners as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection therewith.
Thus, each envelope mailer 333 in the continuous envelope mailer assembly may be the one which provides writable and reusable sheet and/or has a small portion 109, a small sheet 179 or a small label 189, for the address information.
Further, known marginal feed strips 138, tractor holes 135, marginal lines 136 of perforations or slits shown in Fig.lB and described in connection therewith may also optionally be provided to the continuous web or strip 337.
Still a further embodiment of the present invention relates to letter paper made of paper sheet stock material of the present invention, and more specifically relates to a letter paper having reusable sheet where the return address of the addresser is indicated.
Normally, the letter paper for official letter has letterhead, e.g. the name, address and/or telephone number or the like of the addresser printed thereon. And, in a personal letter it is also desirable to let the address of the addresser be indicated on the letter paper.
If the address of the addresser(the public office, for example) is separately, specially indicated in an administrative letter to guide where to reply it will be very convenient and helpful for both the citizens and the public office. hi order to eliminate those inconveniences and prevent possible writing errors the present embodiment of the letter paper provides a small part or sheet having column for the address which can be removed and reattached to the other place by the recipient.
h the prior arts or current markets, there have not been any letter papers which provide reusable sheet stock material having reusable sheet where the return address of the addresser is indicated. As described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139, a column 119(119A, 119B,...) for the address of the addresser is provided to a certain part or the part where the conventional address of the addresser is indicated, of the letter paper 341. Figure 8 A illustrates a partly broken view of a letter paper 341 made of the base sheet 139 shown in Fig.lA and described in connection therewith, showing the rear face 171 thereof, in which the dividing lines 146A, 147A,... enclose some portion of the base sheet 139 and secures said portion as small portion 109 for the column 119.
The adhesive 175 is applied the whole surface of the rear face of the portion 109 and along the periphery of the part of the base sheet near to the dividing line(s).
And, the adhesive covering means 174 having adhesive repellent surface and enough size to cover the adhesive area covers and protect the adhesive 175.
Figure 8B illustrates a further embodiment of the letter paper 341, in which a small sheet 179 having adhesive 175 applied to the rear face thereof is separately prepared and attached to the surface of the fore face 151 of the base sheet 139 comprising the letter paper 341.
Figure 8C illustrates still a further embodiment of the letter paper 341, in which a small label 189 together with a backing sheet 188 is separately prepared and attached to the surface of the fore face 151 of the base sheet comprising the letter paper 341.
Above said further columns 119, and a moderate space for further address, the recess for the column 119, the adhesive repellent surface of the portion of the base sheet 139, and etc., described in connection with the base sheet 139 may also optionally be provided to the base sheets 139 for the letter paper 341. hi Fig.8D, there is provided a single-ply, above described, base sheet 139 which comprises one of a plurality of letter papers 341 in a continuous web or strip 347 of sheet stock material, the additional letter papers 341 being illustrated adjacent opposite ends of the letter paper 341 and connected thereto by the lines of perforations or slits 148. Thus, the continuous letter paper assembly comprises a continuous web or strip 347 having a continuous series of letter paper 341.
And, above said column 119 for the address of the addresser is repeatedly provided to a certain part of each letter paper 341 where the conventional address of the addresser is indicated, in the same manners as those shown in Figs. 8 A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection therewith.
Thus, each letter paper 341 in the continuous letter paper assembly may be the one which has a small portion 109, a small sheet 179 or a small label 189, for the address information.
Further, known marginal feed strips 138, tractor holes 135, marginal lines 136 of perforations or slits shown in Fig. IB and described in connection therewith may also optionally be provided to the continuous web or strip 347.
Still further embodiments of the present invention relate to average cards made of paper sheet stock material of the present invention.
There have been various types of cards in the markets, e.g.,
Christmas cards, greeting cards, invitation cards, cards of signature type, post cards having standard size of each state and country of the world, and the like. Thus, in the specification, the term "card" is used to denote all these kinds of cards.
And in this embodiment, the size of the card is at least not smaller than those of the post cards having standard size regulated by each state or by the Universal Postal Convention and not larger than the A4 sized sheet(21cm x 29.7cm) when the closed or folded card is opened. In the prior arts or current markets, there have not been any cards winch provide reusable and/or writable sheet stock material. The first embodiment of a card of the present invention is directed to the cards made of the single-ply base sheet 139 providing reusable sheet on which the address can be indicated as shown in Fig.9A.
In the similar manners as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139, a column 119(119A, 119B,...) for the address of the offerer is provided to a certain part of the card where the conventional address of the offerer is indicated.
The column 119 may be provided by any one of above said small portion 109 of the base sheet 139 itself, a small sheet 179 separately prepared and attached to the base sheet 139, or a small label 189 having a backing sheet attached to the base sheet 139, comprising the base sheet 139 for the card 351, respectively, in the same ways as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139.
And, above said adhesive 173 or 175 for the column 119, further columns 119, and a moderate space for further address, the adhesive covering means 174, the recess for the column 119, the adhesive repellent surface of the portion of the base sheet 139, and etc., described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139 may also optionally be provided to the base sheets 139 for the card 351.
In Fig.9B, there is provided a single-ply, above described, base sheet 139 which comprises one of a plurality of cards 351 in a continuous web or strip 353 of sheet stock material, the additional cards 351 being illustrated adjacent opposite ends of the card 351 and connected thereto by the lines of perforations or slits 148. Thus, the continuous cards assembly comprises a continuous web or strip 353 having a continuous series of card 351.
And, above said column 119 for the address of the addresser is repeatedly provided to a certain part of each card 351 where the conventional address of the addresser is indicated, in the same manners as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection therewith. Thus, each card 351 in d e continuous card assembly may be the one which has a small portion 109, a small sheet 179 or a small label 189, for the address information. Further, known marginal feed strips 138, tractor holes 135, marginal lines 136 of perforations or slits shown in Fig. IB and described in connection therewith may also optionally be provided to the continuous web or strip 353.
Figure 9C illustrates the piled base sheet 169 comprised of two sheets of the base sheet 139 A and 139B being cut, along the cutting line 156, to form an ordinary tetragonal card 355.
And, the connecting parts 150 shown in Figs. 3 A and 3B and described in connection therewith are provided along the upper and lower and/or right and left marginal edge of the piled base sheet 169 for the card 355. And, additional connecting parts 150 may, repeatedly at intervals, vertically and/or horizontally be provided between the upper and lower and/or right and left marginal edge of the base sheet 169.
Thus, as shown in Fig.9C, each base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 for the card 355 can have the middle part 149 providing reusable sheet 129.
And, the dividing lines 146 A... and/or 147 A... are also provided to the middle part 149 in the same manner as those described in connection with each base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 in Figs. 3A and 3B.
And, as shown in Fig.9C, at every connecting part 150 one of the dividing lines is so positioned along or close to the connecting part 150 that the reusable sheet 129 of the middle part 149 can easily be detached from the connecting part 150. And, the adhesive 173, the writable surface, blank space and/or other features or articles are also provided or formed to each base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 for the card 355 in the same manner as those described in connection with each base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 in Figs. 3A and 3B. The connecting parts 150 of any one base sheet 139 are joined to those of the other base sheet 139 in the same manner as that described in connection with the piled base sheet 169 in Figs. 3A and 3B, and thereby a card is formed.
Further embodiments of the card 355 made of piled base sheet 169 is directed to the card 355 providing reusable sheet on which the address information can be indicated. In the similar manners as those shown in Figs. 8 A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with above said piled base sheet 169, a column 119(119 A, 119B,...) for the address of the offerer is provided to a certain part of the card 355 where the conventional address of the offerer is indicated.
The column 119 may be provided by any one of above said small portion 109 of the base sheet 139 itself, a small sheet 179 separately prepared and attached to the base sheet 139, or a small label 189 having a backing sheet attached to the base sheet 139, comprising the piled base sheet 169 for the card 355, respectively, in the same ways as those shown in Figs. 8 A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the piled base sheet 169.
And, above said adhesive 173 or 175 for the column 119, further columns 119, and a moderate space for further address, the adhesive covering means 174, the recess for the column 119, the adhesive repellent surface of the portion of the base sheet 139, and etc., described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139 may also optionally be provided to the base sheets 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 for the card 355.
The card 355 comprised of the piled base sheet 169 can also be provided in the form of continuous web or strip of cards 355, in the similar manner as the continuous web or strip 353 having a continuous series of card 351 in Fig.9B. The continuous cards assembly comprises a continuous web or strip having a continuous series of card 355.
There may be provided a single-ply, above described, card 355 which comprises one of a plurality of such cards 355 in a continuous web or strip of cards 355, the additional cards 355 being adjacent opposite ends of the card 355 and connected thereto by the lines of perforations or slits.
The continuous card assembly comprises a continuous web or strip having a continuous series of card 355. Each card 355 in the continuous card assembly may be the one which provides writable and reusable sheet and/or has a small portion 109 for the address, a small sheet 179 for the address or a small label 189, for the address information.
Further, known marginal feed strips 138, tractor holes 135, marginal lines 136 of perforations or slits shown in Fig.lB and described in connection therewith may also optionally be provided to the continuous web or strip of card 355. Still further embodiments of the present invention relate to name cards made of the sheet stock material of the present invention. On a name card, there are the name, address of the office, telephone number, and the like being printed thereon. In prior arts or current markets, there have not been any name cards which provide reusable sheet on which the address can be indicated. h the similar manners as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139, a column 119 for the address of the offerer is provided to a certain part of the name card 357 in addition to the conventional address information of the offerer as shown in Fig.9D.
The column 119 may be provided by any one of above said small portion 109 of the base sheet 139 itself or a small sheet 179 separately prepared and attached to the base sheet 139, comprising the base sheet 139 for the name card 357, respectively, in the same ways as those shown in Figs. 8A and 8B, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139.
And, above said adhesive 173 or 175 for the column 119, further columns 119, and a moderate space for further address, the adhesive covering means 174, the recess for the column 119, the adhesive repellent surface of the portion of the base sheet 139, and etc., described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139 may also optionally be provided to the base sheets 139 for the name card 357.
Further embodiments of the name card may be made of piled base sheet 169 to provide reusable sheet on which the address information can be indicated. The piled base sheet 169 comprised of two sheets of the base sheet 139A and 139B being overlapped to each other as shown in Figs. 3A and 3B can be cut to form an ordinary tetragonal name card(not shown). h the similar manners as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with above said piled base sheet 169, a column 119 for the address of the offerer is provided to a certain part of . the name card in addition to the conventional address infoπnation of the offerer.
The column 119 may be provided by any one of above said small portion 109 of the base sheet 139 itself or a small sheet 179 separately prepared and attached to the base sheet 139, comprising the piled base sheet 169 for the name card, respectively, in the same ways as those shown in Figs. 8A and 8B, and described in connection with the piled base sheet 169. And, above said adhesive 173 or 175 for the column 119, further columns 119, and a moderate space for further address, the adhesive covering means 174, the recess for the column 119, the adhesive repellent surface of the portion of the base sheet 139, and etc., described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139 may also optionally be provided to the base sheets 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 for name card.
Still a further embodiment of the present invention relates to a wrapping sheet for cigarettes made of the sheet stock material of the present invention.
Generally, a number of cigarettes are wrapped up by several packing sheets and form a pack of cigarettes. In detail, a pack of cigarettes is generally wrapped up by three sheets of packing sheet, e.g. a metallic foil, a sheet of wrapping paper and a sheet of transparent cellophane film. The present invention is directed to the reuse of the metallic foil and/or the sheet of wrapping paper.
The wrapping sheets for a pack of cigarettes are folded in two ways, viz., where the longer edges of the wrapper are at the top and bottom of the completed package, or so that the longer edges of the wrapper will run across the bottom and up the two side edges of the finished package. In the invention, the wrapping sheets are drawn to be folded to let the longer edges of the wrapper be at the top and bottom of the completed package. But it will be appreciated that they may also be folded to let the longer edges of the wrapper run across the bottom and up the two side edges of the finished package.
In the prior arts or current markets, there have not been any wrapping sheet for cigarettes which provide reusable and/or writable sheet stock material.
The first embodiment of a wrapping sheet for cigarettes is shown in Fig.10 A, in which the base sheet 139 of paper shown in Fig.lA and described in connection therewith is cut, along the cutting line 156, to have moderate shape and size similar to that of conventional paper wrapping sheet for cigarettes. In Fig.10 A, the base sheet 139 of paper is cut to form a paper wrapping sheet 361 for cigarettes having wide sides 363(363 A,
363B,...) and other small flaps 362(362A, 362B,...). These sides and flaps are folded along the foldlines 155, connected and forms the shape of a pack of cigarettes having five sides.
The wrapping sheet 361 may directly be used as the reusable sheet 129 having the releasable and repositionable adhesive 173 applied to the flap 362 or the side 363. Further, the dividing lines 146 A... and/or 147 A... described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA may be provided to the base sheet 139 for the wrapping sheet 361.
And, as shown in Fig.lOA, some of the dividing lines are so positioned to be coincident with or close to the foldlines 155 that the flaps and the sides providing the reusable sheets 129 may easily be detached from each other.
And, instead of the conventional glue or adhesive, the adhesive 173 described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA is apphed to the base sheet 139 for the paper wrapping sheet 361 to form the pack of cigarettes. Further, the adhesive 173 is so applied on the flap(s) and/or along the dividing line(s) of the base sheet 139 that the adhesive 173 may be provided to the reusable sheet 129 when it is removed from the pack of cigarettes.
In Fig.lOA, the flap 362A at the right marginal edge of the base sheet 139 is overlapped and joined to the side 363 A at the left marginal edge thereof by means of the releasable and repositionable adhesive 173, and the flap 362B at the lower part thereof is folded along the horizontal foldline 155 A and becomes the bottom side of a pack of cigarettes. A further embodiment of a wrapping sheet for cigarettes of the invention is shown in Fig.1 OB, in which the dividing lines 146 A... and/or 147 A... described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA are provided to the base sheet 139 of the metallic foil 365. And, as shown in Fig.1 OB, the dividing lines are so positioned to be coincident with(or close to) the foldlines 155 that the flaps and the sides providing the reusable sheets 129 may easily be detached from each other.
Further, the adhesive 173 described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA is also so provided along the dividing line(s) of the base sheet 139 that the adhesive 173 may be provided to the reusable sheet 129 when it is removed from the pack of cigarettes. 45 As a characteristic feature of the soft pack of the present invnetion that the adhesive 173 applied to the wrapping sheet may be protected the wrapping sheet itself or the juxtaposed wrapping sheet. The adhesive 173 applied to the metallic foil 365 may be protected by paper wrapping sheet 361, and that on the paper wrapping sheet 361 may be protected by the outer cellophane film sheet.
As described earlier, in order to provide wider writable space, some indications such as the design, advertisement, or the like indicated on the paper or cardboard wrapping sheet 361 or 391 may be replaced by smaller indications such as trade mark, name of the cigarette company or the like.
As a further characteristic feature of the pack for cigarettes of the present invention, in order to let both faces of the reusable sheet 129 have neat, clean, writable space it is preferable to let the outer surface of the paper sheet have no conventional printed indications such as design or the like. Thus, in present invention, the conventional indications which have been printed on the surface of the paper sheet of the soft pack or hinged lid pack for cigarettes may be printed on the inner surface of the transparent cellophane film sheet.
As a further embodiment of the present invention, the seal for the soft pack for cigarettes may also be reused. The seal 375 generally is adhered across the top of the pack to both foil layer and paper wrapper as shown in Fig. IOC.
And, instead of the conventional glue or adhesive, the adhesive 173 described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA is applied to the base sheet 139 for the seal 375. When the seal having the adhesive 173 is removed from the empty pack, the smoker may fold about one third of the longitudinal length of seal and overlap to each other, and thereby the consumer may attach it as a bookmark by means of the adhesive 173 disposed on the remaining one third of the seal.
A further embodiment of the pack for cigarettes of the present invention is directed to a hinged lid pack for cigarettes made of the piled base sheet 169 of the present invention.
The piled base sheet 169 of paper is cut to form a hinged lid pack for cigarettes 381 in the same manners as those known in the art, i.e., a body having a back wall, a front wall, a pair of side walls, and a base, a lid having front portion, upper portion, and side portions, and a rear portion hinged to said back wall. Figure 10D illustrates a developement, partly broken, view of the piled sheet 169 for a hinged lid pack 381.
And, d e connecting parts 150, the middle part 149 providing reusable sheet 129, the dividing lines 146A... and/or 147 A... are also provided to the middle part 149 in the same manner as those described in connection with each base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 in Figs. 3 A and 3B. h Fig.lOD, some part of the base sheet 139A is partly broken to show the reusable sheet 129 formed on the base sheet 139B, whcih forms the front portion of the lid.
The adhesive 173, the writable surface, blank space and/or other features or articles are also provided or foπned to each base sheet
139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 for the hinged lid pack in the similar manner as those described in connection with each base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 in Figs. 3 A and 3B.
Still a further embodiment of the present invention relates to a wrapping sheet for the filter part of a piece of cigarette made of sheet stock material of the present invention.
Generally, cigarette butts are merely thrown away in the baskets or scattered on the streets and make the streets dirty. In order to prevent the scattering of cigarette butts and thereby reduce the contamination of environment the present embodiment provides a reusable wrapping sheet for the filter part of a cigarette.
In the prior arts or current markets, there have not been any wrapping sheet for the filter part of a cigarette which provide reusable and/or writable sheet stock material.
Figure 11 shows the base sheet 139 of the present invention cut to form a filter wrapping sheet 367 having moderate shape and size similar to tiiat of conventional wrapping sheet for the filter part of a cigarette. Along right and left marginal edge part of any one face of the base sheet 139 for the filter wrapping sheet 367 an area of wrapping part 377 having moderate length and width to wrap around a cigarette part 376 and a filter part is formed, and the conventional glue or adhesive 175 is applied to the wrapping part to frimly wrap around said cigarette and filter.
For example, the wrapping part 377A has enough width to wrap around the whole periphery of a cigarette but the wrapping part 377B may have narrow widti for the conventional glue or adhesive 175 to be applied thereto. And the numeral 368 denotes the lip touching part which wraps around the end part of the filter of a cigarette. The lip touching part is longitudinally secured along die lower marginal edge of the wrapping sheet 367 and has enough space to be touched between one's lips.
The middle part 149 enclosed with wrapping parts 377 and the end part 368 provides the reusable sheet 129 to the users. And, the dividing lines 146 A... and/or 147 A... described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA are also provided to the middle part 149. And, as shown in Fig.l l, at every wrappping part 377 and the end part 368 one of the dividing lines is so positioned to be coincident with or close to the marginal edge of the wrappping part 377 and the end part 368 that the reusable sheet 129 may easily be detached from the filter wrapping sheet 367. Further, the adhesive 173 described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA is also so provided, along the dividing line(s), on the middle part 149 of the base sheet 139 that the adhesive 173 may be provided to the reusable sheet 129 when it is detached from the filter wrapping sheet 367. First, the wrapping part 377 A wraps around the cigarette part 376 together with the filter part 369 by means of the conventional glue or adhesive 175 applied to the wrapping part 377A. And the wrapping part 377B lastly wraps around and adheres to the inner wrapped ply by means of the conventional glue or adhesive 175 applied thereto.
After having a smoke, the smoker can peel the wrapping sheet 367 from the butt, divide the sheet 367 along the dividing lines 146A and 147A, and get a sheet of the reusable sheet 129. The reusable sheet 129 may preferably be used as a bookmark.
Still a further embodiment of the present invention relates to wrapping sheets for chewing gums made of sheet stock material of the present invention.
Generally, a certain amount of the substance of chewing gum is first directly wrapped up with a waxed paper or metallic foil, and then a wrapping sheet of paper again wraps the substance of chewing gum together with the metallic foil and forms a piece of chewing gum. Further, a number of pieces of chewing gums are wrapped up by a wrapping sheet of metallic foil and thereby form a pack of chewing gum. The present invention is directed to the reuse of the outer metallic foil and/or the sheet of wrapping paper. h die prior arts or current markets, there have not been any wrapping sheets for chewing gums which provide reusable and/or writable sheet stock material.
The first embodiment of a wrapping sheet for chewing gum is shown in Fig.12 A, in winch the base sheet 139 of paper shown in
Fig.lA and described in connection therewith is cut to have moderate shape and size similar to that of conventional tetragonal paper wrapping sheet for chewing gum.

And, the adhesive 173 described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA is applied along any one marginal edge of any one wide side(such as side 393A in Fig.l2A).
Further, the dividing lines(146A... or 147A...) described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA may optionally be provided to the base sheet 139. The dividing lines may be so provided to be vertical to the marginal edge on which the adhesive is applied that the adhesive 173 may be provided to each reusable sheet 129 when the base sheet 139 is divided into several pieces.
The consumer may merely peel off the paper wrapping sheet 391 and reuse it as a reusable sheet 129 having the adhesive 173 for a memo sheet. Further, the consumer may divide the wrapping sheet 391 along the dividing line 146A and can get smaller reusable sheets
129 which can be used as bookmarks.
The second embodiment of a wrapping sheet for chewing gum is shown in Fig.l2B, in which the base sheet 139 of metallic foil shown in Fig.lA and described in connection therewith is cut to have tetragonal shape and size similar to those of conventional metallic foil for a pack of chewing gum.
In Fig.l2B, the base sheet 139 of metallic foil is cut to form a wrapping sheet 395 for a pack of chewing gum having five wide sides 397(397A, 397B,...) and right and left small flap, respectively, and vertical and/or horizontal foldlines 155. And, the dividing lines 146 A... and/or 147 A... described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA may be provided to the base sheet 139 of the metallic foil 395.
And, as shown in Fig.l2B, one of the dividing lines is so positioned to be coincident with or close to the foldlines 155 and the other dividing line is positioned to be coincident with the line of tear tape such that d e flaps and the sides providing the reusable sheets
129 may easily be detached from each other.
And, the adhesive 173 described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA is also so provided, along the marginal edge, to the wide side 397A of the base sheet 139 that the adhesive 173 may be provided to the reusable sheet 129 when it is removed from the pack of chewing gums.
A further embodiment of the container for chewing gum of the present invention is directed to a wallet-type container for chewing gum made of the piled base sheet 169 of the present invention.
Figure 12C illustrates a developement, partly broken, view of the piled sheet 169 for a container 385 for chewing gum, in which the piled base sheet 169 of paper is cut to form a body having a back wall and a front wall 388, a pair of side flaps 383, and an opening flap 382. About the vertical foldlines 155 the side flaps 383 are folded to the back wall. And also, about the horizontal foldline 155 the front wall 388 is folded to the back wall and the right and left marginal edge of the front wall 388 are adhered to the side flaps 383. And then, the opening flap 382 is folded about the horizontal foldline 155 and overlies the front wall 388 and closes the wallet type container 385.
And, the connecting parts 150, the middle part 149 providing reusable sheet 129, the dividing lines 146 A... and/or 147 A... are also provided to the middle part 149 in the same manner as those described in connection with each base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 in Figs. 3A and 3B. In Fig.l2C, some part of die base sheet 139 A is partly broken to show die reusable sheet 129 formed on the base sheet 139B, whcil forms the opening flap 382.
And, the adhesive 173, the writable surface, blank space and/or other features or articles are also provided or formed to each base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 for the container 385 of chewing gum in the similar manner as those described in connection with each base sheet 139 comprising the piled base sheet 169 in Figs. 3 A and 3B.
Still a further embodiment of d e present invention relates to advertising inserts or leaflets having reusable sheet where the return address of the advertiser is indicated.
Normally, the advertising insert or leaflet has been included in the newspapers or magazines, or delivered by mail and has the name, address and/or telephone number or the like of the advertiser indicated thereon. And, there have been several types of advertising sheet, e.g. advertising leaflet or card type insertion for advertisement, or advertising pages in a magazines or the like.
Thus, in the specification, the term "advertising insert" is used to denote all ti ese types of advertising sheets.
The present embodiment of the advertising insert 399 in Fig.13 provides a small portion or sheet having column 119 for return address which can easily be removed and reattached to the other place by the recipient. ' • ■
In the prior arts or current markets, there have not been any advertising inserts which provide reusable sheet where the return address of the advertiser is indicated.
In the similar manners as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139, a column 119(119A, 119B,...) for the address of the offerer is provided to a certain part of the advertising insert where the conventional address of the offerer is indicated. The column 119 may be provided by any one of above said small portion 109 of the base sheet 139 itself, a small sheet 179 separately prepared and attached to die base sheet 139, or a small label 189 having a backing sheet attached to the base sheet 139, comprising the base sheet 139 for d e advertising insert 399, respectively, in the same ways as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139.
And, above said adhesive 173 or 175 for the column 119, further columns 119, and a moderate space for further address, the adhesive covering means 174, the recess for d e column 119, the adhesive repellent surface of the portion of the base sheet 139, and etc., described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139 may also optionally be provided to the base sheets 139 for the advertismg insert 399.
Still a further embodiment of the present invention relates to advertising columns in a page of printed material(such as indicated as the numeral 400 in Fig.14) having reusable sheet where the return address of the advertiser is indicated.
Normally, the advertising column in the newspapers or magazines has the name, address and/or telephone number or the like of the advertiser indicated thereon.
The present embodiment of the advertising column 401 in Fig.14 provides a small part or sheet having column for return address which can easily be removed and reattached to the other place by d e recipient. In the prior arts or current markets, there have not been any advertising columns which provide reusable sheet where the return address of the advertiser is indicated.
In die similar manners as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139, a column 119(119A, 119B,...) for the address of the offerer is provided to a certain part of the advertising column 401 in a newspaper or magazine where the conventional address of the offerer is indicated. The column 119 may be provided by any one of above said small portion 109 of the base sheet 139 itself, a small sheet 179 separately prepared and attached to the base sheet 139, or a small label 189 having a backing sheet attached to the base sheet 139, comprising the base sheet 139 for the advertising column 401, respectively, in the same ways as those shown in Figs. 8 A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139.
And, above said adhesive 173 or 175 for the column 119, further columns 119, and a moderate space for further address, the adhesive covering means 174, the recess for the column 119, the adhesive repellent surface of the portion of the base sheet 139, and etc., described in coimection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139 may also optionally be provided to the base sheets 139 for the advertising column 401.
Still a further embodiment of the present invention relates to a disposable paper cup for drinkables made of paper sheet stock material of the present invention.
52 The paper cups for beverages are well known. They are generally made of sheet stock material of paper, and the method of cutting the paper sheet and providing foldlines diereto to form the paper cup is also well known. In the prior arts or current markets, there have not been any paper cups which provide reusable and/or writable sheet stock material.
Figure 15 illustrates the base sheet 139 of die present invention cut to form a disposable paper cup 405. The material of the base sheet 139 for the disposable cup 405 is paper or synthetic resin sheet stock material.
On the whole, die right and left marginal edge part of the fanwise shaped body of the base sheet 139 are connected to each other by adhesive and/or thermal pressing or hot melting and thereby form a shape similar to that of a frustum of a cone. A disk is connected to the lower marginal edge part of the frustum-of-a-cone shaped base sheet 139 and thereby becomes the bottom of a cup. The procedure foπning an disposable cup 405 with the base sheet 139 of die present invention is as follows.
First, the base sheet 139 is cut to have fanwise shaped body 403 and a disk 402 similar to those of conventional paper cups for drinkables in the current markets as shown in Fig.15.
Joining parts 404(404A, 404B,...) having a moderate width are provided along the upper, lower, right and left marginal edge of the body 403, respectively.
The middle part 149 between or encircled by the joining parts 404 provides the middle part 149. And, the dividing lines 146A... and/or 147 A... described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA are provided to the middle part 149.
And, as shown in Fig.15, as the body 403 is fanwise shaped it is preferable that the confronting dividing lines are provided to be parallel with each other in order to provide quadrilateral reusable sheet 129 detached from d e cup.
Further, the adliesive 173 described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA is also so provided, along the dividing line(s), on the middle part 149 of the base sheet 139 that the adhesive 173 may be provided to the reusable sheet 129 when it is detached from the disposable cup 405. And, the adhesive 173 applied to the base sheet 139 for the disposable cup 405 is protected by the adhesive covering means 174.
And the writable surface and space described in connection with the base sheet 139 in Fig.lA may optionally be placed on the inner and/or outer surface of the middle part 149 of the base sheet 139 comprising the disposable cup 405. And, the adhesive 173 and the adliesive covering means 174 are provided to the outer surface of the cup 405.
After using the contents of the disposable cup, d e consumer may divide the disposable cup 405 along the dividing lines 146A... and/or 147 A... and can get the reusable sheet 129 having the adhesive 173 which can be used as bookmarks or memo sheets. Still a further embodiment of die present invention relates to a single wrapping sheet made of die sheet stock material of the present invention.
Conventionally, the wrapping sheet has some decorative designs or colors printed thereon and used mostly by the retailers to wrap a certain goods. h the prior arts or current markets, there have not been any wrapping sheets which provide reusable and/or writable sheet stock material.
On the single base sheet 139 of the present invention such as shown in Fig.lA, some decorative designs or colors are printed on the surface of the base sheet 139 for a wrapping sheet(not shown), the dividing lines 146A... and 147 A... are provided, and strip of the releasable and repositionable adhesive 173 is applied to any one face of the base sheet 139. And the strips of adhesive covering means 174 is provided to protect the adliesive 173.
Further embodiments of the wrapping sheet is directed to the wrapping sheet providing reusable sheet on which the address information can be indicated.
In the similar manners as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection witi the single sheet of the base sheet
139, a column 119(119A, 119B,...) for die address of the offerer is provided to a certain part of the sheet of the wrapping sheet(not shown).
The column 119 may be provided by any one of above said small portion 109 of the base sheet 139 itself, a small sheet 179 separately prepared and attached to the base sheet 139, or a small label 189 having a backing sheet attached to the base sheet 139, comprising the base sheet 139 for the calendar sheet, respectively, in
the same ways as those shown in Figs. 8A, 8B and 8C, and described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139.
And, above said adhesive 173 or 175 for the column 119, further columns 119, and a moderate space for further address, the adhesive covering means 174, the recess for the column 119, the adliesive repellent surface of the portion of the base sheet 139, and etc., described in connection with the single sheet of the base sheet 139 may also optionally be provided to the base sheets 139 for the wrapping sheet.
As further embodiments of the sheet stock material of the present invention, the base sheet 139, d e strip 137 of the base sheets 139, the piled base sheet 169, the strip 167 of the piled base sheets 169, the airtight bag 311, the paper box 313, the paper box 315, the paper box 315, the paper pack 319, the airtight paper pack 321, the calender set of single sheet stock material of the present invention, the calender set of piled sheet stock material of the present invention, die label 325, the web or strip 328 of d e labels 325, the envelope 331, the web or strip 337 of the envelope mailer 333, the letter paper 341, d e web or strip 347 of the letter paper 341, the card 351, the web or strip 353 of the card 351, the cards 355 made of the piled base sheet 169, the strip of the cards 355 made of the piled base sheet 169, the name card 357, d e name card made of the piled base sheet 169, the pack for cigarettes, die advertising insert 399, the advertising column 401, the wrapping sheet for general goods, of the present invention, hithertofore explained may be provided in combination witi some indicia or color printed thereon, by the printers to the users or orderers.
h order to let d e reusable sheet 129 be easily detached and removed from the base sheet 139, a known tear tape 153 A may optionally be provided to or between the base sheets as shown in Fig.3A, or a known die-cutted tab portion may optionally be formed at each reusable sheet 129.
After using a certain goods and desiring to reuse the base sheet which comprises or is used for the goods, the user may split each base sheet 139 along the dividing line(s), into many parts, get a plurality of reusable sheets 129, and can reuse these reusable sheets as average sheet stock material, memo sheets, bookmarks, address information sheet or the like.

Claims

WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:
1. A blank sheet stock material for providing reusable sheet stock material comprising; a single, planar, blank sheet stock material of paper, metalic foil, synthetic resin film or mixtures thereof extending horizontally from left edge to right edge and vertically from top edge to bottom edge, at least some part of or the whole of any one surface or both surfaces of said sheet stock material being formed to provide writable surface and space such that the reusable sheet provided by said sheet stock material may have writable surface and space, a portion of adhesive and/or dividing line being provided to said sheet stock material, said portion of adhesive being any one of the pressure sensitive, permanent adhesive or the pressure sensitive, releasable and repositionable adhesive, said portion of adhesive being so apphed along any one marginal edge of said sheet stock material and/or along one side or both sides of the dividing line that said adhesive may be provided to the reusable sheet which is provide by said sheet stock material, said dividing line being in the form of a series of perforations or slits and being provided, at regular intervals, vertically and/or horizontally, along and a little apart from the marginal edge(s) of said sheet stock material, to divide said sheet stock material into several portions and thereby to provide reusable sheet(s),
2. A blank sheet stock material for providing reusable sheet stock material comprising; a single, planar, blank sheet stock material of paper extending horizontally from left edge to right edge and vertically from top edge to bottom edge, a column having moderate width and length for indicating the address information of the offerer of said sheet stock material being provided to some part of said sheet stock material, and thereby for being reused as reusable sheet stock material having address information of the offerer of said sheet stock material,
Under the condition that the length L between the right and left marginal edge of the column 119 is not shorter than the height H between the upper and lower marginal edge thereof and the indicia of address information of the offerer is written longitudinally along the lenght L, the length L of said column being not less than 25mm nor more than 110mm and the height H of said column being not less than 3mm nor more than 65mm.
3. A blank, piled sheet stock material for providing reusable sheet stock material comprising: a plurality of single, planar, blank sheet stock material of paper being attached to each other and thereby forming a single-ply, piled sheet stock material of paper, each of said single, planar, blank sheet stock material comprising said single-ply, piled sheet stock material comprising; a single, planar, blank sheet stock material of paper extending horizontally from left edge to right edge and vertically from top edge to bottom edge, at least some part of or the whole of any one surface or both surfaces of said sheet stock material being formed to provide writable surface and space such that the reusable sheet provided by said sheet stock material may have writable surface and space, a portion of adhesive and/or dividing line being provided to said sheet stock material, said portion of adhesive being any one of the pressure sensitive, permanent adhesive or the pressure sensitive, releasable and repositionable adhesive, said portion of adhesive being so applied along any one marginal edge of said sheet stock material and/or along one side or both sides of the dividing line that said adhesive may be provided to the reusable sheet which is provide by said sheet stock material, said dividing line being in the form of a series of perforations or shts and being provided, at regular intervals, vertically and/or horizontally, along and a httle apart from the marginal edge(s) of said sheet stock material, to divide said sheet stock material into several portions and thereby to provide reusable sheet(s), Connecting part having a moderate width and length being provided to each sheet stock material for being put together to the corresponding connecting parts of the other sheet stock material and thereby said plurality of sheet stock materials being unioned forming a sheet of thicker, single-ply piled sheet stock material, said connecting parts being repeatedly at intervals, vertically and/or horizontally provided along and between the upper and lower and/or right and left marginal edge of the piled sheet stock material, middle part being provided between said connecting parts for being used to provide the reusable sheet stock material, some of said dividing lines being provided to said middle part of said each sheet stock material comprising the piled sheet stock material, said dividing lines being so positioned along or close to said connecting part that reusable sheet stock material may easily be detached from said connecting part.
4. A blank, piled sheet stock material for providing reusable sheet stock material comprising: a plurality of single, planar, blank sheet stock material of paper being attached to each other and thereby forming a single-ply, piled sheet stock material of paper comprising; a column having moderate width and length for indicating the address information of the offerer of said sheet stock material being provided to some part of said sheet stock material, and thereby for being reused as reusable sheet stock material having address information of the offerer of said sheet stock material,
Under the condition that the length L between the right and left marginal edge of the column 119 is not shorter than the height H between the upper and lower marginal edge thereof and the indicia of address information of the offerer is written longitudinally along the lenght L, the length L of said column being not less than 25mm nor more than 110mm and the height H of said column being not less than 3mm nor more than 65mm.

A continuous sheet stock material assembly comprising a continuous web incorporating a plurality of sheet stock materials, each of said sheet stock material comprising; a single, planar, blank sheet stock material of paper, metalic foil, synthetic resin film or mixtures thereof extending horizontally from left edge to right edge and vertically from top edge to bottom edge, at least some part of or the whole of any one surface or both surfaces of said sheet stock material being formed to provide writable surface and space such that the reusable sheet provided by said sheet stock material may have writable surface and space, a portion of adhesive and/or dividing line being provided to said sheet stock material, said portion of adhesive being any one of the pressure sensitive, permanent adhesive or the pressure sensitive, releasable and repositionable adhesive, said portion of adhesive being so apphed along any one marginal edge of said sheet stock material and/or along one side or both sides of the dividing line that said adhesive may be provided to the reusable sheet which is provide by said sheet stock material, said dividing line being in the form of a series of perforations or slits and being provided, at regular intervals, vertically and/or horizontally, along and a httle apart from the marginal edge(s) of said sheet stock material, to divide said sheet stock material into several portions and thereby to provide reusable sheet(s),

Under the condition that the length L between the right and left marginal edge of the column 119 is not shorter than the height H between the upper and lower marginal edge thereof and the indicia of address information of the offerer is written longitudinally along the lenght L, the length L of said column being not less than 25mm nor more than 110mm and the height H of said column being not less than 3mm nor more than 65mm, and, a printed indicia indicated on each of said sheet stock material.
17. Sheet stock material according to claim 2, 4, 6, 8, 11, 12, 14, or 16 wherein, said column being provided by vertically and horizontally extending dividing lines which only extend to where they intersect the adjacent one of said dividing lines, and thereby a closed dividing line being provided in the sheet stock material extending about the entire periphery of said portion of the column, or said column being provided by a small sized sheet stock material 179 which is separately prepared and attached to a certain part of said sheet stock material, or said column being provided by a small sized label having a backing sheet, and, a portion of adhesive having any one of the pressure sensitive, permanent adhesive or the pressure sensitive, releasable and repositionable adhesive properties being applied the rear surface of said column.
18. Sheet stock material according to claim 1, 2, 9, or 10 wherein, said sheet stock material being of synthetic resin sheet stock material and forming an airtight bag or receptacle.
19. Sheet stock material according to claim 1, 2, 9, or 10 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming a packing box. 20. Sheet stock material according to claim 3, 4, 11, or 12 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming a packing box.
21. Sheet stock material according to claim 1, 2, 9, or 10 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming an airtight pack for drinkables.
22. Sheet stock material according to claim 3, 4, 11, or 12 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming an airtight pack for drinkables.
23. Sheet stock material according to claim 1, 2, 9, or 10 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming a wall calendar.
24. Sheet stock material according to claim 3, 4, 11, or 12 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming a wall calendar. 25. Sheet stock material according to claim 1, 2, 9, or 10 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming a label.
26. Sheet stock material according to claim 5, 6, 13, or 14 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming a label.
27. Sheet stock material according to claim 1, 2, 9, or 10 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming an envelope. 28. Sheet stock material according to claim 5, 6, 13, or 14 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming an envelope.
29. Sheet stock material according to claim 2 or 10 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming a letter paper.
30. Sheet stock material according to claim 6 or 14 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming a letter paper.
31. Sheet stock material according to claim 1, 2, 9, or 10 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming a card. 32. Sheet stock material according to claim 5, 6, 13, or 14 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming a card.
33. Sheet stock material according to claim 3, 4, 11, or 12 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming a card. 34. Sheet stock material according to claim 7, 8, 15, or 16 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming a card.

41. Sheet stock material according to claim 1 or 9 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming a filter wrapping sheet for a cigarette. 42. A pack of cigarettes being wrapped up with three sheets of packing sheet, e.g. a metalic foil, a sheet of wrapping paper and a sheet of transparent cellophane film, wherein, the conventional indications which have been printed on the surface of the paper sheet of the soft pack or hinged lid pack for cigarettes being printed on the inner surface of the transparent cellophane film sheet. 43. Sheet stock material according to claim 1 or 9 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming a wrapping sheet for a chewing gum. 44. Sheet stock material according to claim 1 or 9 wherein, said sheet stock material being of metalic foil and forming a wrapping sheet for chewing gum.
45. Sheet stock material according to claim 3 or 11 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming a wrapping sheet for a chewing gum.
46. Sheet stock material according to claim 2 or 10 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming an advertising insert.
47. An advertising column in a page of pubhshed material, wherein said column further includes a column having moderate width and length for indicating the address information of the offerer of said advertising column, and thereby for being reused as reusable sheet stock material having address information of the offerer of said advertising column, Under the condition that the length L between the right and left marginal edge of the column 119 is not shorter than the height H between the upper and lower marginal edge thereof and the indicia of address information of the offerer is written longitudinally along the lenght L, the length L of said column being not less than 25mm nor more than 110mm and the height H of said column being not less than 3mm nor more than 65mm,
48. Sheet stock material according to claim 1, 2, 9, or 10 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming an average wrapping sheet. 49. Sheet stock material according to claim 1, 2, 9, or 10 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming a disposable paper cup. 50. Sheet stock material according to claim 1, 2, 9, or 10 wherein, said sheet stock material being of paper sheet stock material and forming a general wrapping sheet for merchandising goods.
