Description

Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Saponinschaumes; sowie ein veschäumbares, medizinisch, kosmetisch, keimabtötend oder parasitenabtötend wirkendes Mittel, sowie Verwendung dieses Mittels Process for producing a saponin foam; as well as a foamable, medicinal, cosmetic, germicidal or parasiticidal agent, and the use of this agent
The invention relates to a method for producing a saponin foam; as well as a foamable, medicinal, cosmetic, germicidal or parasiticidal agent, and the use of this agent. The foam is suitable for covering surfaces such as human or animal skin over a large area and without gaps. The foam, or the foam with the built-in active ingredients, is durable over a long period of time and has high stability and effectiveness. The foam already has usable effects without additives, but is in particular more stable and effective if substances are incorporated into the foam structure which, as such or together in combination with the foam, have a more intense synergistic effect. The invention also relates to a foamable agent which has a cosmetic, germicidal or parasiticidal effect, and to the use of this agent.
It is known that a number of diseases due to germ and / or parasite attack occur in the medical-dermatological field, which until now have been treated with more or less effective tinctures, ointments and powders. The treatment with the known agents is in many cases uncomfortable and unpleasant, since these agents have to remain on the affected skin area for a long time, for example. In addition, the dosage of the corresponding active substances in the generally relatively high, since in many cases the deepest possible penetration of the active substance into the skin must be achieved in order to achieve a therapeutic effect. Saponins are natural substances with little side effects and have a high foaming power; they are natural glycosides, which are widely used as plant ingredients, and are also known as auxiliary colloids, which have an emulsifying effect, which is particularly noticeable in relation to the detachment of fat particles on the skin or in the skin pores. As a result, saponin foams differ significantly from the well-known synthetic surfactant foams and soaps.
From Chem. Abst .: 95: 202312a it is known to add saponin as a foam stabilizer to stabilize a starch foam. Stabilization of the saponin foam itself is not mentioned here.
The invention has for its object to provide a method for producing a stable saponin foam and to create a foamable agent which has a medical, cosmetic, germicidal or parasiticidal effect and to indicate the use of this agent. This object is achieved by the method specified in claim 1 and the agent specified in claim 11 and the use specified in claims 12 and 13.
Die Unteransprüche beschreiben vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen des Verfahrens nach Anspruch 1.The subclaims describe advantageous embodiments of the method according to claim 1.
According to the invention, to stabilize the saponin foam, an aqueous saponin concentrate and / or a powder containing saponin is mixed with at least one water-insoluble finely divided support and active substance capable of dispersion and / or suspension formation, and the mixture is optionally foamed after adding water and the finely divided support and active substance are dispersed and / or suspended in the foam bubble structure.
According to the invention, a foamable agent is produced, comprising an aqueous saponin concentrate and / or a saponin-containing powder and at least one finely divided medicinally and / or cosmetically and / or cosmetically and / or germ-killing and / or parasite-killing support which is dispersible and / or suspendable in a foam bubble structure - and active substance and optionally water.
Dieses Mittel findet als Gesichtsmaske Verwendung. This remedy is used as a face mask.
Such a foamable agent can also be used as a pest control agent, it preferably being used in a dried form.
It is surprising that saponin foam can be stabilized in particular by water-insoluble active substances, such as low-fat curd cheese, low-fat yogurt or kefir, or pulverized fruit, such as grated potatoes or apples, for example. When these substances are combined with a relatively small addition of saponin, a foamable mixture is formed, the substances mentioned being dispersed or suspended in the blister skin (shell skin) after the foaming and forming a kind of support structure for the foam bubbles. This support effect in connection with the foaming has hitherto been unknown. Experiments with low-fat curd cheese have shown that the foam produced on the surface was still stable even after 24 hours. It formed a closed top layer that was no longer moist on the surface but practically dry. There were no cracks. The foam structure was clearly preserved. The same result is obtained if the quark-saponin mixture contains chamomile extract and / or honey and / or 96% alcohol in an amount of up to 20% by weight. is fed. When this mixture is applied after spreading on human skin, no deterioration of the foam is observed over a period of, for example, half an hour, although the foam has been applied to the skin in a thickness of almost 5 mm. This is all the more surprising since the foam bubbles close to the skin expire due to the heat radiated from the skin and the foam-forming liquid flows off or the entire foam slides away with the foam liquid forming on the skin.
According to the invention, a wide variety of medications or other active substances against certain skin diseases or parasite infections can be added to the mixture of saponin or product containing saponin to be foamed. In this case, a longer exposure time of the medication to the skin surface is achieved due to the stable foam, the penetration of the active ingredient into the skin being optimized by the permeability-increasing property of the saponin. It is achieved that the active ingredients can be used in a considerably lower dosage than in the previously known applications and formulations effectively against the corresponding diseases and parasite infections. In this sense, synergistic effects result between the saponin foam and the saponin gum supplemented with supporting substances in connection with the respective medicament.

Fig. 2 is a stable foam bubble containing icronized particles. 1 consists of an enveloping skin (1), which is filled with a gas filling (2), for example CO 2 or air (saponin vesicles). The skin contains an approx. 15% saponin solution. Such a vesicle can be referred to as a micelle, and when solid particles are added, a support structure (5) forms practically between the inner and outer skin layers (3, 4) of the vesicle, regardless of the nature of the substance particles, with the exception of defoaming agents Substances that generally prevent the formation of foam or the formation of enveloping skins. Fig. 1 in the drawing shows a vesicle consisting of a gas filling (2) and an outer skin (1), with fine particles (6) of a partially insoluble substance between the outer and inner skin (4, 3) of the vesicle , such as curd cheese, grated apples, banana porridge or cucumber porridge, whose active ingredients enter the skin (1) and so-called micromicells form in the skin (1) of the micelle, the walls of which are insoluble in the skin (1) embedded particles (6) are formed. These water-insoluble parts build up a kind of support structure (5), which gives the foam bubble a very high stability.
Luft, ein¬ geschlossen, so daß als Ergebnis ein Vesikel-Luftnetzwerk ent¬ steht.2, the particles (7) embedded between the outer and inner envelope skin (4, 3) are micronized. The particles (7) are solid portions of a substance in suspension form which is insoluble in the foam-forming saponin solution in the skin (1). The insoluble components act as a support structure and give the foam bubble high stability. This prevents the entire skin from shrinking, which results in increased stability. This effect was not to be expected and has not previously been observed in foams. When the foam is applied to the skin, the foam no longer disintegrates and therefore no longer drips out. The individual foam bubbles (or micelles) stabilized by water-insoluble components are stored in the entire system a kind of densest spherical packing to a stable foam that is long-lasting. Instead of foam breakdown, slow shrinkage due to loss of liquid occurs due to the surface evaporation of the aqueous portion. While vesicles are usually artificially produced membrane bags which can include water-soluble or fat-soluble substances, in the present case these vesicles are saponin molecules which assemble and are capable of trapping substances in their cavity. They are therefore carriers of active substances and are able to release active substances (8) at the interfaces. These saponin vesicles can assume a uniform cage-like structure regardless of their content. This creates a network that is made up of the densest spherical packings. A gas, for example air, is enclosed between the symmetrically formed particles, so that the result is a vesicle-air network.
According to a particular embodiment of the invention, an inert gas, such as, for example, carbon dioxide or nitrogen, or other non-oxygen-donating gases, such as, for example, are used to produce the saponin foam. Propane, butane or a mixture thereof is used. As is known, a foam bubble is composed of the enveloping liquid membrane in which a gas is enclosed. Another gas can take the place of air in a saponin foam.
In the event that this gas is, for example, nitrogen or carbon dioxide, when such a foam is applied, parasites which have nested in the hat or which are located on the surface of the skin and which generally use air as the breathing gas are removed from the breathing oxygen, so that they die in no time. Such a foam creates an effective means to gently rid humans or animals of these parasites after a parasite attack. Such a foam filled with an inert gas also makes it possible to kill parasites in rooms if they are covered with such a foam. It is also possible to add attractants to such a foam, which cause certain parasites or vermin to enter into this foam, in which case they die within a very short time. The support substances added to the foam, such as curd cheese or mashed fruit, can themselves serve as attractants.
Foams according to the invention can also be used in the hygiene field, in particular with anthropodicides. In this context, it is known that many anthropodicides are contact poisons. The arthropods that come into contact with them often carry these contact poisons into their nests, with another part of the nest population becoming contaminated and dying. Especially in the living area, the application of such contact poisons, which are often in powder form, is unpleasant. According to the invention, such a contact poison or in its place a feeding poison can also be added to a very dense saponin foam against higher animals, for example rats, in the form of rhodenticides. It is noteworthy that certain saponins, especially those originating from the triterpenoid area, have anticoagulant properties and thus enhance the effect of the rhodenticide used. In addition, they have a killing effect on the enoparasites that affect the rodents.
The saponin foam with these additives can be spread over large areas and placed in a drying cabinet. Hot air removes a very high percentage of moisture from the foam in a very short time, while the foam bubbles remain stable. After drying, there is a plate-like, but relatively dry foam substance that is very similar to a meringue. The dried foam sheets can then be cut into cube-shaped or other pieces and are subsequently suitable for laying out, for example, arthropods infected areas (bait traps and bait stations). The saponin foam in this solid state has the advantage that it still contains a certain amount of water, for example 5% by weight. Together with the air humidity prevailing in the room, the contamination of an arthropod that comes into contact with this solid foam is optimized in that small foam particles stick to the arthropod due to the residual moisture and are carried on. The combination of this use of saponin foam according to the invention results in a synergistic effect between the anthropodicide known per se and the dried saponin foam associated with it and stabilized by suitable measures.
Dried saponin foams, like, for example, sugar cubes, are able to absorb liquids, such as essential oils, without being subjected to a solution process. Since the saponins are almost only soluble in water or alcohol, it is possible to add to the dried foam those substances which would otherwise prevent the foaming of a saponin solution.
The use of the saponin foam product according to the invention takes place in particular in the form of face masks in cosmetics for skin tightening and skin cleansing. Known face masks are produced in such a way that, for example, quark or similar mask substances are allowed to act. A drying process takes place due to the warmth of the skin and the outside air. The curd is ris¬ s due to volume shrinkage and causes certain tensile action, which should lead to skin tightening. It is also known that slices of fruit are placed under the curd layer, such as cucumber slices, which are said to have a certain effect on skin cleansing and improving the skin structure. The use of saponin foam according to the invention results in a very surprising effect. The face mask is made from a curd foam so that the curd is slightly reduced Add amount of, for example, 3 to 4% saponin powder or 6 to 8% of a 50% aqueous saponin concentrate and then foamed. Further active ingredients, such as chamomile extract and / or honey and / or alcohol, as well as other medicinal herbs or water-soluble medicinal herb extracts or teas, and also dried and micronized medicinal herb drugs, can be added to the mixture.
For the reconstruction of damaged skin areas, the following active substances, for example the quark mask, for example, the following active substances can be added individually or in a mixture of several substances: hyaluronic acid, recombinant fibroplast growth factor, biotechnologically obtained short-chain peptides, glycopetides, glycolipids , Nucleotides, condroitin sulfate, allantoin and urea.
After foaming with a normal kitchen towel, the foam, which is almost pasty, is applied to the skin with a layer thickness of about 5 mm. The exposure time can be selected because the foam is very stable and does not run on the skin. Without the drying of the foam being observed from the outside, an astringent effect is observed after a short time. At the end of the exposure time, the foam can be removed from the skin with a spatula or similar instrument. The skin is then cleaned of the rest of the foam with water. Under the magnifying glass, there is a remarkable pore opening in the skin. Increased blood circulation due to a slight discoloration of the skin surface can also be observed.
The agent according to the invention makes it possible to convert all non-fatty or low-fat natural substances, such as fruits, into a foam form. The saponin-typical increase in permeability of the upper skin layers results in better penetration of the active substances contained in the natural products into the deeper skin layers. This synergism that is by combining saponin with other active substances has so far been unknown.
In the formulation of the saponin foams used, it is possible for foamable saponin products to be mixed with other substances, such as, for example, carriers or other active substances, to give a finished formulation which is only foamed in the application.
To support the saponin foam, water-insoluble substances in very fine distribution, which form dispersions, are particularly suitable, e.g. micronized tea, curd cheese, bananas, plant parts, root parts or the like or synthetic medicinal products.
Another advantage is that the foams can also be produced and used with warm water, and the heat effect can also be used.
Beispiel:Example:
20 g of low-fat curd are mixed with 3 g of Saponin DAB 9 (for example Quillaja) or with another saponin and 2 g of chamomile flower meal (or 0.5 g of Kamillosan) as well as 2 g of honey and 0.01 g of a short-chain polypeptide , the ingredients first being well premixed in a kneading mixer or another suitable device. Saponin is then added and dispersed in a dish with 40 ml of water by stirring and foamed using a suitable device, for example a kitchen whisk.
