Mitunter ist auch eine Ausgestaltung von Datenträgern vorteilhaft und sinnvoll, bei welcher der Duftmittelträger bei äußerer Aktivierung Duft abgibt. Dadurch, daß der Duftmittelträger erst bei äußerer Aktivierung, z.B. durch Wärme, Licht oder Reibung Duftmittel abgibt, sind spezielle Düfte individuell dosierbar. So können beispielsweise verschiedene Audio- oder Video-Datenträger bei der Wahrnehmung ihres Inhaltes kurzfristig unterschiedliche Duf eindrücke hervorrufen. Es ergibt sich sogar die Möglichkeit, unterschiedliche, datensignalfreie Bereiche eines einzigen Datenträgers mit unterschiedlichen Düften zu versehen, die einzeln oder in Kombination aktivierbar sind. Durch die weite Verbreitung von Fernmeldeeinrichtungen, die mit Lesevorrichtungen für Telefonkarten ausgestattet sind, z. B. öffentliche Fernsprecher oder Mobiltelefone, besteht auch ein großer Bedarf an Telefonkarten. Derartige Telefonkarten ermöglichen es dem jeweiligen Benutzer, vorgenannte Fernmeldeeinrichtungen jederzeit zu nutzen. Zusätzlich zu der bisher schon bekannten Möglichkeit, Telefonkarten beispielsweise mit Werbung zu bedrucken, läßt sich die Werbewirkung durch eine erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung mit einem Duftmittelträger beträchtlich steigern. Telefonkarten werden nämlich in der Regel von den Benutzern ständig mitgeführt, um gegebenenfalls jederzeit Fernmeldeeinrichtungen nutzen zu können. Durch den vom Duftmittelträger verströmten Duft kann selbst dann eine Werbebotschaft durch Telefonkarten übertragen werden, wenn diese in Lesevorrichtungen an den Fernmeldeeinrichtungen eingesetzt sind oder auch schon, wenn sie von den Benutzern z. B. in Taschen von Kleidungsstücken mitgeführt werden. Außerdem ergibt sich der Effekt, daß die Benutzer der Telefonkarten veranlaßt oder erinnert werden, bestimmte Handlungen auszuführen, z. Durch das Einführen von Telefonkarten in entsprechende Lesegeräte unterliegen die Oberflächen nämlich auch mechanischem Verschleiß. Dies gilt natürlich auch für andere Datenträger, z. B. Compact- Discs, bei deren Handhabung auch eine mechanische Beanspruchung ihrer Oberfläche nicht ausgeschlossen ist. Durch eine erfindungsgemäße Beschichtung oder andere Ausgestaltung mit einem Duf mittelträger, die besonders abriebfest ist, wird einer raschen Abnutzung des Duftmittelträgers vorgebeugt. Die Lebensdauer der auf Datenträger erfindungsgemäß aufgebrachten Duftmittelträger wird beträchtlich verlängert. Dadurch ergibt sich natürlich auch eine vorteilhafte, lang anhaltende Wirkung, z.
