Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'activation de charbon adsorbant dégénéré qui consiste à diriger un rayonnement à hyperfréquence sur le charbon dégénéré de façon à reconvertir sensiblement ce charbon dégénéré sous forme active. On peut utiliser le charbon adsorbant: a) en produisant un matériau de départ comprenant le charbon adsorbant; b) en mettant en ÷uvre un procédé qui provoque la dégénération substantielle de ce charbon; et c) en dirigeant un rayonnement à hyperfréquence sur le charbon dégénéré obtenu à l'étape (b) de façon à reconvertir sensiblement ce charbon dégénéré sous forme active. Ceci permet d'obtenir une régénération efficace du charbon actif qui est ensuite approprié à d'autres usages et utilisé comme milieu adsorbant dans la purification du gaz et de l'eau, ce qui évite ainsi d'acheter de nouveaux matériaux.
