Abstract
Système de mesure d'impédance à des fins diagnostiques (10) doté d'une sonde allongée (12) pénétrant dans les tissus et présentant autour de sa partie distale une pluralité d'électrodes de référence axialement espacées (20A-C). Les électrodes de référence (20A-C) mesurent l'impédance des tissus biologiques adjacents à chaque électrode. Un comparateur (42) compare l'impédance mesurée d'au moins des première et deuxième électrodes de référence (20A-C), et génère un premier signal indiquant la différence d'impédance entre les deux électrodes. Ledit comparateur compare l'impédance mesurée entre la première ou la deuxième électrode et une électrode supplémentaire, et génère un deuxième signal indiquant la différence d'impédance entre les deux électrodes. Ledit comparateur compare les premier et deuxième signaux et génère un troisième signal indiquant la différence d'impédance entre les deux signaux. Le troisième signal communique avec un élément d'évaluation de signaux qui détermine la position relative de la sonde (12).
