Abstract

Un premier aspect de l'invention concerne un procédé d'extraction d'un fluide d'un réservoir (7) à l'aide de l'énergie géothermique. Ce procédé consiste de préférence à forer un puits (1) dans une zone disposant d'énergie géothermique (6) pour permettre la libération de cette énergie dans le réservoir de fluide (7). On décrit une configuration de puits particulièrement avantageuse pour l'extraction d'énergie géothermique en général. En mettant en ÷uvre le premier aspect de cette invention, il peut se révéler particulièrement bénéfique de pouvoir forer des puits horizontaux et/ou montants à partir d'un puits conventionnel descendant. D'autres aspects de l'invention concernent l'appareil qui permet de forer de tels puits. Ces outils comprennent un trépan aléseur/stabilisateur réglable, un dispositif de mesure de poussée, un moteur de forage volumétrique, un circuit de commande de trajectoire, un moteur/pompe volumétrique trirotor à cavités ultralobes, un moteur de forage à boue trirotor et un trépan élargisseur de compensation.
