Suivant l'invention cette compensation de la longueur de la nappe est obtenue au moyen du dispositif de redressement 1 lui-même. En effet, par suite de la descente du bloc redresseur 8, les axes d'articulation 18, 19 des bielles de liaison respectives 16, 17 sont abaissés, ces bielles 16, 17 passent alors dans des positions inclinées vers le haut, en direction des cylindres de renvoi 5,6 et comme les paliers 12, 13 de ces cylindres de renvoi 5,6 sont guidés sur les supports inclinés 14,15, il en résulte que ces paliers et par conséquent les cylindres 5,6 se rapprochent l'un de l'autre et que la distance entre leurs axes prend une valeur dl inférieure à la distance d qui existe entre ces axes lorsque le dispositif de redressement 1 est en position inactive, ainsi qu'il est représenté sur la figure 1.
