Description

DISPOSITIVO PARA EL ACCIONAMIENTO DE TOLDOS DE CAMTONES. REMOLQUES Y SIMILARES. DEVICE FOR THE OPERATION OF CAMTONES FOLDS. TRAILERS AND SIMILAR.
The present utility model refers to a device for driving awnings of trucks, trailers and the like, which allows to extend and / or pick up the awning automatically, without having to mount or disassemble it manually.
The awnings of trucks and in general of any cargo vehicle can be in many cases a great obstacle to loading and unloading operations, being necessary to collect them to facilitate these operations, for example by means of loading devices.
The collection and subsequent extended of the awning of manual form, supposes a cumbersome work and that requires some time, due to the necessary anchors or elements of subjection.
On the other hand, because the awnings must be supported by an armor, generally composed of arches or transverse trusses, the collection of the awning is not sufficient to have the entire free surface, since the arches or trusses cross the box and can constitute an obstacle to cargo handling. Arches or trusses can also be arranged so that they are removable, but they increase the work and opening and closing time of the awning. The purpose of this utility model is to develop a device for driving awnings in trucks and cargo vehicles in general, by means of which the awning can be extended or picked up automatically, at the same time that the displacement is achieved in the proper direction of the transverse arches or trusses that support the awning. In this way, when it is desired to collect the awning, the folding of the canvas and the displacement of the arches or trusses are achieved, until it is grouped under the folded canvas, leaving the box fully discovered --- and free to carry out loading and unloading operations without any obstacle. In the same way, to cover the vehicle, the canvas and arches or trusses are moved together, until the total deployment of the assembly is achieved, in which the arches or trusses are correctly positioned to support the canvas. The device of the invention comprises two rails or longitudinal guides that run along the sides of the box, above the longitudinal walls thereof. On each of these rails or guides are mounted, in equal numbers on both sides, carriages that can be moved along the guides. Between each two facing rails, one on each side, runs a rigid transverse arch or truss, while between each two consecutive trusses foldable arms are arranged that are aligned when the canvas is extended, covering the entire vehicle, and fold to the Pick up the canvas.
The canvas that configures the awning, composed of a flexible sheet, is fixed on the folding arms mentioned above.
The carriages on either side are connected by means of two cables that are fixed to the rear carriage and that extend from the end carriages into portions that are connected to drums that wind and unwind synchronously in the opposite direction the portions of both ends , thereby folding and unfolding the awning, including the canvas or flexible covering sheet and the transverse arches or trusses.
The characteristics of the device of the invention, as well as the operation thereof, are set forth in greater detail below, with the help of the attached drawings, in which a non-limiting embodiment example is shown.

La estructura plegable citada está constituida por dos series de caπillosIn figures 1 and 2 a truck is shown whose box 1 is covered by a canopy 2, this awning being in the deployed position in figure 1, completely covering the box 1 of the truck, while in figure 2 it is in the folded position or pick up The awning 2 installed in the truck box of figures 1 and 2 includes a folding structure, which is mounted on two rails or longitudinal guides 3, each of which is located above the side panel 4 of the vehicle, in position coplanar with it. These rails or guides may consist of two parallel tubular profiles. The aforementioned folding structure is constituted by two series of caps
As best seen in figures 6 and 7, each carriage 5 has a column 6 fixed on top. Each two consecutive columns 6 belonging to carriages on the same side are joined by a set of folding arms 7, figures 6 and 7. The columns belonging to 5 facing carriages on either side are related to each other by a cross arch or truss 8, figures 4 and 5. Each two consecutive arches or trusses are also interrelated by a set of intermediate folding arms 9. Thus, the folding structure includes the transverse arches or trusses 9 that are related between yes through the sets of folding arms 7 and intermediate ends 9 and are mounted on the carriages 5, through the columns 6.
The two series of carriages are connected to each other by means of two cables 10 that are fixed to the carriage that occupies the rear end position and extend from the end carriages into portions that are connected to drums 11 that wind and unwind synchronously in the opposite direction. portions 12 and 13 of both ends.
In the position shown in Figure 3, the drum 11 rotates so that it is winding the portion 12 and unwinding the portion 13, whereby the carriages move in the direction B, in which the arm assemblies 7 and 9 go adopting the folded position referenced with the numbers 7a and 9a in figure 3, the corresponding carriages 5 being attached to each other. When it is desired to fold the structure, the drum 11 will rotate in the opposite direction, then fractionating the section 13 and releasing or releasing the section 12, whereby the carriages 5 move in the opposite direction to that of the arrow B. The canvas or flexible sheet of the awning will be fixed to the arches or trusses 8, being dragged by said arcs in the displacements already described, thus obtaining in an automatic way, by activating the drum 11, the total unfolding of the structure and canvas, until the total covering of the vehicle box, as shown in figure 1, or the folding of the canvas and structure in the front part of the box, leaving the rest of it completely free to carry out loading and unloading operations.
The set of folding arms 7 and 9 can be constituted by two pairs-of arms 1.4, which are articulated with each other by one of its ends, while on the opposite they are articulated, one of them to columns 6 and the opposite of a intermediate body 15. Through this body can run the cable 10 that relates each series of carriages. As can be seen in Figures 8 and 9, each of the carriages 5 can be constituted by two parallel plates 16, between which four transverse axes 17, wheel carriers 18 that rest on the profile 19 defining the rail or are mounted guide 3. The plates 16 are connected by means of an upper plate 17 and are arranged in their vertical edges of lugs 20 between which free-rotating rollers 21, of vertical axis, which rest on the vertical surfaces of the profile 19 are mounted.
In this way, the carriages 5 rest on the upper and lower horizontal surfaces of the profile and also on the vertical surfaces thereof, avoiding any risk of pitching and ensuring a good longitudinal sliding on it.
The cables 10 that relate the carriages 5 on either side rest on rear pulleys 22 and previous 23 of direction change.
The drum 11 will be driven by a motor, with change of direction of rotation, so that by putting it into operation in the proper direction, the collection or unfolding of the awning is achieved, together with the structure that supports it.
As can be seen in Figures 3 and 4, a cable 24 can run along each pair of arms 9, which is fixed to the intermediate body 15 of said arms and connected at its ends to the springs 25. This system will serve to tension and keep arms 9 horizontal.
In Figures 10 and 1 1 a possible form of lateral support of the canvas or flexible covering sheet is shown, which is referred to with the number 26. The longitudinal edges of this canvas or flexible sheet have pulleys 27 and 28 fixed, to different height, between which an elastic cord 29 passes. Below the pulleys 28 it also has pairs of pulleys 30 which are intended to run on a rail 31 fixed longitudinally on the sides of the vehicle case.
With the constitution mentioned, during the operations of folding the structure, the elastic cord 29 facilitates the folding of the sides of the canvas.
Figures 12 to 14 show a possible closure and back tie system of the canvas, with which it is not necessary for the operator to climb to perform the mooring operations. The canvas or cover sheet can include two or three mechanisms such as those represented on each side, depending on the height of the truck.
El perfil 31 lleva también montada una palanca 39 dotada de una patilla interna 40 enfrentada a la cabeza 36 del vastago 35.Figures 12 to 14 include a mechanism for tightening or tying the canvas, which will be mounted at least on the profile 31 corresponding to the rear foot of the sides of the truck body. This mechanism is composed of two clamping wheels, one side referenced with the number 32 and another rear referenced with the number 33, which are articulated by hinges 34. Between these tires and the profile 31 the side of the canvas 26 is adjusted and the rear canvas 26a. The rim 32 has fixed pins 35 that penetrate the profile 31 and are finished off in a head 36 between which and a seat 37 is mounted a compression spring 38 that drives the pin 35 towards the position shown in Figure 13. The profile 31 also has a lever 39 fitted with an internal pin 40 facing the head 36 of the rod 35.
Al mismo tiempo la llanta 33, mediante la articulación 34, se abre parcialmente, liberando la lona posterior 26a.By moving the lever 39 towards the position shown in Figure 14, the pin 40 pushes the pin 35 outwards, whereby the tire 32 is separated from the profile 31. At the same time the tire 33, by means of the articulation 34, opens partially, releasing the rear canvas 26a.
When the lever 39 is released, it recovers the position of figure 13, thanks to the spring 38. The square 41 causes the wheel 33 to rotate, when the mechanism is passed from one position to another.
Figures 13 and 14 correspond to the mechanism on the left side of the box, the one on the right side being of the same constitution, but occupying a symmetrical position. The folding arms 6 can have a spring that drives them towards the folded position, by means of which the start of the movement of these arms in the correct folding direction is ensured.
The canvas 26 can have plastic reinforcement pieces on the sides, positioned so that they cooperate and facilitate their folding during the process of collecting the structure. In addition, the canvas can include articulation pieces for connection to the folding arms 7 that will help the folding of the canvas.
