Abstract
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de direction et de freinage pour véhicule à coussin d'air comportant au moins un moteur pour la propulsion et un compresseur pour la création d'un coussin d'air au-dessous du véhicule, un dispositif de gouvernail commandant le sens de la marche étant disposé à l'arrière. Le but de l'invention est de créer un dispositif de direction et de freinage pour véhicule à coussin d'air, permettant d'effectuer des changements de direction ou man÷uvres d'évitement très rapides, ou des freinages rapides. Cette invention est caractérisée par la présence, à l'arrière du véhicule à coussin d'air, de deux aérofreins de grande surface juxtaposées et pivotants (16, 17) directement associés aux moteurs (5, 6). La moitié supérieure arrière du carter (7; 8) de chaque moteur (5, 6) est conçue comme aérofrein pivotant (16; 17), la partie arrière de l'aérofrein (16; 17) étant articulée, de façon à pouvoir pivoter, sur la caisse (1) du véhicule à coussin d'air.
