Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil permettant d'appliquer in situ un matériau de réparation dans la zone endommagée de la paroi intérieure d'une conduite. L'appareil comprend un dispositif pouvant se déployer dans le sens radial et s'étendre sur une longueur axiale prédéterminée de la conduite à réparer et sur au moins une partie de sa circonférence intérieure. Ce dispositif à expansion radiale comporte une surface externe formant la paroi externe d'une cavité gonflable, un système fournissant un fluide de pression à cette cavité ou l'en retirant afin de déplacer cette surface externe dans le sens radial vers l'extérieur ou l'intérieur, ainsi qu'une membrane souple, distincte du dispositif se déployant dans le sens radial, et pouvant former une couche externe placée le long dudit dispositif et sur au moins une partie de sa circonférence pendant l'utilisation, entre le matériau de réparation et la surface externe. Ce dispositif comporte aussi un système de retrait adjacent à une extrémité de la membrane et permettant de retirer cette dernière de la conduite. Une partie de cette membrane placée au contact du matériau de réparation se retrousse lorsqu'on déplace la membrane dans l'axe de la conduite. L'invention concerne aussi un procédé permettant d'appliquer un matériau de réparation in situ sur une zone endommagée de la paroi interne d'une conduite à réparer.
