Abstract
In a digital subtraction angiography device, the frame of a picture generated with a X-ray apparatus is noticeably larger than a contrasting agent bolus in the blood vessel to be examined. The device is controlled to process radiographs with contrasting agent bolus, as well as masks for generating angiographic reproductions. This processing allows good quality angiographies to be carried out in a short time with a reduced amount of contrasting agent.
