Abstract

The device according to the present invention comprises means (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) for lifting the bar for the opening control of each monoblock of one or more complete sections, operated from an armoured cabin (B) by means of an oleodynamic motor (1) or, in case of energy black-out, manually by an operator.

Description

Device capable of simultaneous or selective opening of prison cell doors.
The present invention concerns a device for the contemporary and also single opening of monoblocks for the inlet into prison cells, in particular for providing the immediate release of the prisoners during fires, earthquakes and further eventual calami¬ ties.
In such occasions it has oftenly occurred the the prisoners trapped in their cells can not be reached in due time by the prison guards that must open the single eels one by one, sometimes with tragical results.
It is the aim of the present invention to provide for the contemporary opening, in emergency cases, of all monoblocks for the access to the prison cells of one or more sections, by an operatore housed in a cabin like an armoured box.
A possible variant of the device accoding to the present invention provides furthermore the possibility of opening; from the same seat, each single cell for the ordinary use.
The aim set forth is reached by means of the device ac- cordingto the present invention, of completely mechani- cal kind without electical and electronical components that are not suitable for the solution of the vital needs described above, because they undergo frequent averages.
The device according to the present invention comprises means for lifting the bar for the opening control of each monoblock of one or more sections, operated by an armoured control cabin by means of an oleodyna- mic motor or, in case of energetic black-out, also manually by the operator.
The advantages derived from the application of the device accoding to the present invention are many and of considerable importance:
- once the bolts are inserted and following to a centralized control, the gate as well as the detention
" door are safely closed;
- in an emergency case, the immediate and contemporary opening of all monoblocks for the access to the detention cells of a whole section or of a plurality of sections is obtained and, eventually, also of the gates leading to the walk or similar.
The device according to the present invention may be appropriately applied also on already existing cell-doors as well as on those to be realized yet.
The present invention will be described more in detail hereinbelow according to the enclosed drawings in which a preferred embodiment is shown.
Figures 1 and 2 show respectively a front and a back perspective view of a part of monoblock for the access to the prison cells.
Figures 3 and 4 show in detail the lateral and back scheme of the mechanism for operating the opening of said monoblocks.
Figure 5 shows a possible scheme for working on a plurality of sections of one prison.
Figure 6 shows a scheme of the motor for operating the means for a contemporary opening of the monoblocks.
Figures 7 and 8 show, in detail, a variant of the device for the contemporary as well as single opening of each monoblock, always controlled by the central cabin.
The present invention concerns a device for the contemporary as well ' as for the single opening of monoblocks for the access to prison cells, comprising: an armoured box B, to which the opening terminals of the device accoding to the present invention are centralized; - an oleodynamic motor 1, out of one piece with a support 2, that determines the horizontal traction of the bar 3 that operates the tie-rods 4 provided all along the walls of the sections; - an emergency lever 5, having its fulcrum in a point 6 of the wall and connected to the horizontal bar 3 so as to determine the traction of tie-rods 4, in case of damage to the motor 1, following to the manual action that determines, in that case, also the displacement of the whole block comprising motor 1 and support 2; - two going and back tie-rods 4, one for the closing and the other one for the opening of the monoblocks, and that operate in correspondence to each cell the switches 6 which lift and lower the control bar A.
The working of the internal mechanism of the device accoding to the present invention - consisting of said bar A sliding in stops B, of a connecting rod C having its fulcrum in the main body through pin D, on the bar A through pin E and on head F through pin G - may be described as follows: the bar A is placed into movement by switch 6, and the lifting thereof causes the rotation of the con¬ nection rod C onto pin E and the back movement of head F, while the falling dov.n of bar A is favoured by the counterweight H, out of one piece with bar A through upright I, and through said connection rod the advancing of head F is determined. So, when the bar A is lifted by its own switch 6, the whole block of the bolts is moved and the gate and the door, respectively placed on stop BC and BP of the monoblock, are free to open. 5
In the variant that allows also the single opening of each monoblock, the mechanism shown in figures
7 and 8 is placed between tie-rods 4 and bar A; said mechanism comprises:
10 - an element 7 for lifting bar A, provided with an upper end having the shape of a place 8 in which two openings 9 and 10 are provided for the introduction, respectively, of an element 11 for the connection with the tie-rods 4 for the contempo-
-5 rary opening of all monoblocks and of an element
' 12 for the lifting for the single opening;
- a lifting element for the contemporary opening of the monoblocks, consisting of pin 11 to be inserted into opening 9 of element 7, and of coupled
'-0 element 13, out of one piece, provided with inclined, sliding edges 14 with respect to the guiding εtrut- ture 15, so as to determine, following to the traction commanded through tie-rods 4 and switches
6, the lateral movement of the block and therefore
25 the inlet of pin 11 for the hooking to element
7; - a lifting element for the single opening of each monoblock, consisting of a structure similar to the one referred to with numeral 11 and placed in a symmetrical position with respect to the upper terminal 8 of element 7, so as to determine, following to the operating of the auxiliary oleodyna¬ mic motor 16 placed in correspondence to each cell, the lifting of element 13' guided by the edges 14' inclined to the structure 15', the lateral sliding of pin 12 coupled out of one piece to 14' , until it gets engages into opening 10 of terminal 8, with the same result of providing for the opening of the cell.
It seems to be evident that the device accoding to the present invention is working with auxiliary motors 16, for the single opening and closing of each cell, as well as in absence of said motors, so as to provide for the contemporary functionality of the monoblocks of whole sections.
