Abstract

On décrit une sonde commandée par soupape pour l'incontinence et la rétention urinaires. La sonde est essentiellement constituée d'un élément sensiblement tubulaire (10) en matériau élastique adapté pour être mis en place par voie intra-urétale dans le sujet. Une première partie extrême (12) de la sonde est adaptée pour être reçue à l'intérieur de la vessie et a une forme sensiblement spiralée, tandis que l'extrémité opposée de la sonde renferme une soupape (20) se trouvant normalement dans sa position fermée mais pouvant être ouverte par le sujet lorsque celui-ci l'actionne de manière manuelle par compression, ce qui permet l'évacuation des urines. A cette fin, il suffit de ne pas actionner ladite soupape. Par ailleurs, il semblerait que la sonde soit également utilisable dans les cas de rétention urinaire.
