Abstract

The sifting machine envisages, interplaced between the more internal end (4a) of a chain excavating group (4) and a first conveyor belt (7): a vibrating wall (14) for the pre-selection of part of the material (6) excavated, defined by a plurality of beams (15) parallel among themselves and arranged below the end (4a) of the chain excavation group (4) and tilted at an angle (α) with respect to the longitudinal development of the car (C) so as to permit of the downflow of the remaining part of the excavated material (6); a hopper (16) for receiving the pre-selected components of the said material (6), arranged below the said vibrating wall (14) and comb means (19) for cleaning arranged below the said vibrating wall (14) and acting on all the surface defined by the beams (15) in such a way as to keep the selecting surface of the said vibrating wall (14) continually clean.
