Abstract

Un appareil servant à coupler des signaux entre un réseau à impédance faible mais inconnue et un émetteur-récepteur, comprend un circuit à résonance en série (31, 32) terminé par une impédance élevée et un circuit à résonance parallèle (36, 37) terminé par une résistance de faible valeur (38). Un amplificateur de puissance (39) sert à la transmission, et des éléments de commutation (34) servent à commuter entre les deux circuits. Le signal est contrôlé afin de produire un niveau de signal approprié devant être couplé au réseau. Une utilisation particulière de cet appareil se rapporte à la lecture de compteurs dans la fourniture d'électricité. Des messages d'invitations à émettre sont transmis à partir d'une sous-centrale à une multiplicité de compteurs, la phase de la synchronisation de bits de données étant maintenue entre les émetteurs et dans la réponse émanant des compteurs. La transmission des signaux possédant une immunité élevée au bruit et une largeur de bande étroite est effectuée par une modulation de phase complexe du porteur. Un signal binaire à déphasage produit des signaux dont la largeur de bande est inférieure aux fréquences allouées aux applications de comptage et l'interférence entre signaux peut être évitée au moyen d'un multiplexage à division de fréquence.
