Description
The present invention relates to a security and industrial protection system.
It relates in particular to the safety of personnel using machine tools or dangerous industrial systems, in all cases where the wearing of body protection devices such as glasses is recommended, but it can also find various applications such as the safety of motorcyclists . The devices produced to date either are ineffective and easy to fault, or are unpleasant to use. For example, French patent 2,354,506 describes a safety system intended for machines projecting particles such as grindstones, in which the machine can only be started if protective glasses have been removed. a housing. But nothing obliges the operator to wear said glasses. The object of the present invention eliminates all these drawbacks. Indeed, it authorizes the operation of the machine only if the body protection is actually worn by the operator. It consists of the combination of a protection device provided with a means of detection which can be activated only by contact with the operator's skin, the protection device comprising an integrated and autonomous transmitter transmitting by a high signal. frequency of information coded at a receiver enabling the machine or the industrial equipment to be started only when the received signal corresponds to the activation of said detection means.
In the accompanying drawings, given by way of nonlimiting example of one of the embodiments of the subject of the invention: FIG. 1 represents protective glasses fitted with the device according to the present invention. Figure 2 is the block diagram of the integrated transmitter. Figure 3 is the block diagram of the receiver. The device, FIGS. 1 to 3, consists of protective glasses 1 equipped with a transmitter A and a receiver 5 controlling the starting of the motor 16 of the machine. The protective glasses 1 comprise two conductive zones 2, 3 coming into contact with the operator's skin when they are actually worn. These conductive areas are designed in such a way that they cannot be electrically connected by simply placing the spectacles 1 on a metal surface, for example. This result is obtained by placing at least one of these conductive zones in a recess of the protection device, which is the case of zone 3 on the nose in the case of current protective glasses. The conductive zones 2 and 3 form a resistive or capacitive detector. In an alternative embodiment, the conductive zones 2, 3 are replaced by one or more micro-contacts. The integrated transmitter L, is of miniaturized type with low consumption. It includes a circuit 6 of the "trigger" type connected to the conducting zones and switching to an active state when they are in contact with the skin. This circuit is connected to a transmission management module 7 which activates a circuit 8 generating the coded information which is transmitted to the high frequency transmitter 9 proper. The assembly is powered by a built-in miniature battery 10.
Le tout étant complété par une alimentation basse tension 17.The receiver 5 is made up of a high frequency circuit 11, followed by an information analysis module 12 and a time base 13 making it possible to activate a commu¬ tation command block 1a which controls the operation of the engine 16 of the machine via a power stage 15. The whole being supplemented by a low voltage supply 17.
The transmitter 4 of high frequency waves transmits coded information which cannot be disturbed or interfered with by the parasites of industrial environment. Its small size and its autonomy allow it to be integrated into any type of security organ.
The receiver 5 analyzes the information received, and if it is consistent, the power supply to the machine or to the industrial equipment is established. If the absence of consistent information becomes continuous, then the power supply is interrupted. The device which is the subject of the invention can be adapted to non-industrial applications. In particular, it can be used to force a motorcyclist to wear a helmet in order to be able to start his machine, a tamper-resistant contactor cutting off the ignition circuit when this condition is not fulfilled. The positioning of the various constituent elements gives this device a maximum of useful effects that had not been. obtained to date by similar devices.
