The cam segment rapidly rotates into the gap 36 and the sheet moves into engagement with the smooth curved surface of the diverter 27, which carries the sheet upwardly to positively locate the leading edge into the plane defined by the upper and lower belt runs of the belts.

Abstract

Ensemble d'alimentation de feuilles (10) comprenant un transporteur d'alimentation couplé en ligne à une pluralité de bacs récepteurs séparés. Une transporteuse horizontale (35) et une transporteuse inclinée (39) sont alignées verticalement, chacune d'elles ayant une course continue de la bande et une course interrompue de la bande, comportant une partie commune en amont et une courroie en aval formant un espace de déviation (36). Une paire de déviations est placée verticalement au niveau des extrémités opposées de l'espace de déviation, chaque déviateur comprenant des segments de came diamétralement espacés, d'une longueur environ trois fois supérieure à celle de l'espace. Les déviateurs sont montés rotatifs et les axes (32) sont décalés avec les surfaces de cames de manière tangentielle par rapport au cheminement horizontal. Un des déviateurs (27) pénètre dans l'espace de déviation à proximité de l'extrémité de l'espace en amont afin de soutenir et d'entraîner la feuille dans les ensembles de transporteurs les plus élevés alors que l'autre déviateur (28) est placé en aval afin de guider la feuille dans l'ensemble situé dans la partie la plus basse.
