Description

"Schlauch" "Tube"
The invention relates to a hose, in particular for the passage of aggressive liquids, with a structure made of natural or synthetic rubber material, into which reinforcement layers are optionally incorporated, and an inner layer made of fluoroplastic.
To aggressive liquids such as acids, bases, solvents! or the like to be able to promote, hoses must be lined with a chemically resistant inner layer. This inner layer should, however, be designed in such a way that the good properties of hoses, such as flexibility, compressive strength, suction strength and the like, are retained.
Fluoroplastic has already proven its worth as an inner layer because it is resistant to a large number of different aggressive media.
On the other hand, however, fluoroplastic is extremely difficult to process, and it has only a low level of adhesion, in particular in relation to a wide variety of rubber materials.
It is known from EU-OS 0 222 323 that the inner layer made of fluoroplastic is thereby attached to the inner wall of a rubber to attach the hose so that a textile fabric is embedded between the rubber inner wall and the inner layer made of fluoroplastic. The threads and fibers of the textile fabric should be spatially behind or encompassed on the one hand by the material of the inner layer and on the other hand by the rubber of the ski structure. However, such an invention, which is essentially based on mechanical anchoring, is not always sufficient; in particular when the temperature rises, such a known connection should be too weak. In addition, the establishment of such a connection is associated with considerable effort.
The object of the invention is to improve the adhesive system between the inner layer made of fluoroplastic and the inner surface of the sight 1, and in particular to reduce the production outlay of a hose provided with a fluoroplastic inner layer.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that a layer of an adhesive mixture is provided between the inner layer and the structure of the hose, which layer consists of elastomers and additives, and that the adhesive mixture layer is connected to the inner layer via an adhesive.
The adhesion system according to the invention overcomes the adhesion of the fluoroplastic with respect to the rubber material of the tube structure extremely effectively, and a good bond is achieved which can be produced with relatively little effort.
The adhesive mixture layer and the rubber material of the ski structure are preferably connected to one another by vulcanization, as a result of which an intimate bond is created.
Preferably, halogenated butyl rubber, for example chlorobutyl rubber, is used as the rubber in the adhesive mixture layer.
Bright fillers are expediently used as fillers in the adhesive mixture, by means of which the adhesiveness of the adhesive mixture can be further improved.
For further improvement, in particular between the adhesive mixture layer and the inner layer, the adhesive mixture layer can contain resorcinol and formaldehyde donor components.
Es genügt eine Schichtdicke von etwa 0,2 bis 2 mm.The adhesive mixture layer need only be made relatively thin. A layer thickness of approximately 0.2 to 2 mm is sufficient.
Substances with free isocyanate groups are expediently used as adhesives.
Highly active polyisocyanates are preferably used, for example in the form of a 20% solution of triphenylethane triisocyanate in methylene chloride. Such an adhesive can easily be applied to the inner layer.
Foil material is expediently used for the inner layer consisting of fluoroplastic. The foil material al preferably has a thickness of 0.02 to 1 mm.
The invention is illustrated in the drawing, for example, and described in detail below with reference to the drawing. In the drawing, a partial section through a hose 1 is shown 1 t.
The hose 1 can be constructed in any conventional manner, namely from a blanket 2, a core 3 and a plurality of reinforcing layers 4 of textile and / or steel cord arranged between them, and optionally a built-in steel or plastic screw helix.
The hose is provided with an inner layer 5 made of fluoroplastic, which consists of film material with a thickness of approximately 0.02 to 1 mm.
An adhesive system is provided between the inner layer 5 and the core 3 of the hose 1, which overcomes the adhesion between fluoroplastic and rubber.
A layer 6 made of an adhesive mixture, which is applied over the inner layer 5, serves as the adhesive system. The adhesive mixture consists of natural or synthetic rubber, which contains anti-aging agents, plasticizers and vulcanizing agents.
Before the adhesive mixture layer 6 is applied, an adhesive 7 is applied to the inner layer 5, for example a 20% strength solution of tri phenylmethane tri iocyanate in methylene chloride. This adhesive increases the adhesiveness between the inner layer 5 and the adhesive mixture layer 6 to such an extent that separation of the inner layer 5 and the adhesive mixture layer 6 is not to be expected even under extreme conditions.
Das über der Haftmischungsschicht 6 aufgebrachte Gummi ate- rial des Schi auchaufbaus wird an die Haftmischungsschicht 6 anvulkanisiert, wodurch eine innige Verbindung zwischen derThe rubber applied above the adhesive mixture layer 6 of the ski structure is vulcanized onto the adhesive mixture layer 6, as a result of which an intimate connection between the
Adhesive mixture layer 6 and the overlying layers is created.
The hose is produced as follows:
First, to produce the inner layer 5, a film made of fluoroplastic, which has a thickness of 0.02 to 1 mm, is wound helically on a mandrel, the edges of the film lying one above the other having a width of 5 to 6 mm overlap.
After the inner layer 5 has been produced, the adhesive 7 is applied. The application can be done with the help of a brush or the like.
The adhesive mixture layer 6 is applied in a layer thickness of approximately 0.2 to 2 mm to the inner layer 5 prepared in this way. For example, the adhesive mixture layer consists of chlorobutyl rubber, to which light fillers, anti-aging agents, plasticizers, vulcanizing agents and an adhesion promoter are added.
The inner layer made of fluoroplastic pretreated in this way is then vulcanized under pressure at the melting temperature of the fluoroplastic. On the one hand an intimate welding of the overlapping film of the inner layer 5 is achieved, and on the other hand a permanent and good bond between the inner layer 5 and the adhesive mixture layer 6 is achieved by means of the adhesive 7.
After this treatment step are mixed layer on the Haft¬ 6, the remaining layers of the ski structure also applied, namely, the core 3, the reinforcing layers 4 and the ceiling 2. The entirety of the layers is vulcanized ßend subse- •.
