Abstract

The invention relates to a security igniter intended to the firing of propulsors. The igniter is comprised of a sliding piece (4) which may take two positions: the first position so called 'security' position which provides for the confinement of gases emitted by the primary pyrotechnical charge (5) in the case where the latter will be fired without any ignition order; the second position called 'armed' position which provides for the passage of gases from the primary charge towards the second charge (1), the pyrotechnical chain being thus established. A retractable stop (7) provides for the safety of operation. The invention applies to any type of igniter for propulsive charges requiring a safety position.

Notamment, il est impératif de supprimer tout risque d'allumage intempestif du propulseur même si ' l'inflammateur prend feu inopinément sous l'action par exemple de paramètres liés à l'environnement, tels que des champs électromagnétiques importants .
