Abstract

The clock is mounted within the vehicle and shows automatically both inside and outside the vehicle the hour and the minute at which the vehicle has stopped. When the vehicle is started again, either the solar time or the legal hour will then appear on the clock display.

DESCRIPTION of utility industrial model called:

" Hour-clock particularly useful for cars.

It is known that car parking in cities is regulated in terms of time, as you can see in the various guarded car - parks or in those regulated-by parking-meters, or in those areas regulated by parking-cards, etc.

The driver often does not remember his time of arrival or forgets to indicate it with a special parking-card, or he leaves his car there longer than allowed. This device corrects or shows eventual inconveniences.

This invention consists of a clock with electrical, electronic, mechanical, plastic and metallic components which shows both inside and outside the car or vehicle, the hour and the minute the engine stopped.This is connected to the ignition system. When the car is started, the clock starts again and shows the exact hour erasing the time at which the engine stopped. The next time it stops it will go on working internally hut it will only show the time the engine was stopped.

" Hour-clock " guarantees the driver the possibility of indicating the stopping tine and makes it easier for parking guards or traffic wardens to check on parked cars . It is also useful when accidents occur, in that nobody remembers the exact time at which the accident took place, and this time is so important and decisive in some cases.

This is the general outline to put the patent into opera tion, consequently, when actually put into practice there may he variants concerning the substance and the innovative concept which is sometimes characterized by the ingenious and original coordination of elements completely or partly familiar with which one can attain new results which are socially and economically useful and which had not heen attained hy means of the use of one or more isolated elements derived from common Knowledge.

1) Hour-clock is particularly suitahle for cars of any type since it is made up of diverse electrical, electronic, mechanical, plastic and metallic elements. 2) Hour-clock is useful for industrial applications and for periodical controls and analyses.

3) Hour-clock is suitahle for cars since it is applied in a particular way that allows one to see the hour and the minute both from outside and inside.

4) A particular feature of Hour-clock is the fact that it goes on showing the hour and the minute at which the engine was stopped while it goes on working even if not visihly.

5) The hour and the minute at which the engine stopped

will he seen, and when the engine is started again it will he possible to see the exact hour which will he visible while the engine is on.

6) As stated at 1,2,3,4,5, Hour-clock is particularly useful for cars and industrial applications since it is a good substitute for parking-cards, because it does an exact service in indicating the exact time at which the car arrived at the car-park and also in case of accident it shows the time at which the accident happened.

7) Hour-clock is particularly useful for cars and other industrial applications as it follows from the above- mentioned items and from the fact that its manufacture, its applications and functional features are protected by this patent, as described.

8) The explanatory drawings are not necessary for the

Hour-clock device because its size and its shape are not binding conditions.

Hour-clock can also be made with two synchronized dials for both the external and internal reading of the time.
