Abstract

The tool uses a bar (1) with a joint (2) on its top to hold part (3) with movement limitating means (4). In the annular hollow (5) a clamp (6) is foreseen which can be tightened by means of a wing nut. In the hollow (8) of part (7), a prosecution of part (3), an electrical motor (9) is positioned which is reached by the power mains (10) on terminals (11). In the space (12), the driving motor (13) transmits the motion by means of the gear pair (14) to the shaft (15) which lets the expanding clutch (16) turn within the bell (17) integral with the driving pinion (18). The tool can be brought upwards as high as wished by putting one or more components (22) in prosecution of bar (1).

Description

"ELECTRICAL HAND PRUNING SAW". The invention refers to a sawing tool, fitted on a bar of changeable length, fear cutting on parts at different heights. The tool is foreseen for particular use in agricultural and gardening pruning, as it allows to intervene on the different parts of the plant while the operator still remains on the ground level.
For these agricultural operations, either self-propelled or dragged means are currently used with small standing points for the servants, foreseen at different heights to enable the operator, holding a hand tool and according to different heights the one upon the other, to intervene on the whole plant. Alternatevely, instead of the above means, ladders have to be used which can be displaced by hand.
The invention device enables to adopt a means to be easily brought by the person and which avoids to use the above devices for stationing the operator at the required height and which can be quickly fitted for the wished height. Substantially, the device uses a bar 1 with end joint part 2 bearing the binding part 3 and counterposed means 4 to restrict the notion in both longitudinal and trans versal senses, which prevent the rotation and thus protect the in side electrical cables. In the anular hollow 5, clamp 6 is further more foreseen which can be tightened by means of a clamp. The bind ing part 3, which is the end one of the containing part 7, has been foreseen with hollow 8 for positioning the electrical motor 9 which is reached by power mains 10 on clamps 11. By means of the kinematic pair 14, the driving shaft 13 transmits the motion to the shaft 15 which turns the expansion clutch 16 within the bell 17 turning with the driving pinion 18. While the sewing device is stillstanding, the driving pinion 18 with bell 17 is not integral with the driving shaft. As soon as an impulse has been received, the motor 9 is activated and its shaft 15 lets the clutch 16 turn, which at a speed fixed in advance and expanding in bell 17, becomes integral with this last one and drags the motor pinion 18 as well as the tool consisting of cutting chain 19 which glides an guide 20 of frame 21 as well as on the motor pinion 18. The tool can be brought up to the wished height by means of component 1 of permanent articulation, as well as by means of one or more components 22 which have been structured on the terminals with alternated conicity for the composition according to parts 23 and 24 with pressure blocking. On top of the conical parts 23 and 24, two electric plugs 25 and 26 have been foreseen, which are engaged the one with the other so as to ensure the continuity of the electrical continuity by means of the two inside main conducting cables 27. On rod 1 the electrical switch 28 has been foreseen to fit on top 29, whereas top 30 bears a tap for the electrical con nection of pin 31. As a different execution, housing can be fore seen for electrical batteries just for the alternative employ in stead of the connectjon foreseen by means of cable 32. At the top of structure 21, bar 34 is foreseen on stop piece 33 in order to catch and cut thinner branches than those which beat on the rod 35 fitted on part 7. Structure 21 shows two hollows 36 for lodging two screws 37 passing through part 7 to enable the integral composition of this part 7 with structure 21. An execution form is illustrated in a merely indicative and, con sequently, not limiting way for the unit, in the tables 1 and 2. With reference to table 1, fig. 1 is a view of the longitudinal section of the tool with bar 34 in position on stop 33. The articulated type of the same tool can also be noted en bar 1. Fig. 2 is the lateral view of the sane tool as illustrated in the previous figure and fitted on the imposer on the ground in rest phase. Fig. 3 is a lateral view of a modular component for lengthening the tool supporting rod. In table 2, fig. 4 is the view of the wheel and pin assembly for transmitting the movement of the driving motor.
m particular, the driving motor of the tool with cutting chain can operate either with A.C. or C.C.
The form of the supporting part of the tool, of the tool holder, of the tool as well as of the articulation binding means and of those which carry out the motion, may be foreseen in different way.

Claims

Claims.
1) Electrical hand" pruning saw, characterized by the fact that a bar (1) is used with end joint part (2) bearing a binding part (3) and counterposed means (4) for limiting the motion in longitudinal and transversal senses to prevent the rotation, and thus protecting the inside running cables. In the annular hollow (5), a clamp (6) is furthermore foreseen which can be tightened by means of a swing nut. The binding part (3), which is the end part of the containing one (7), is foreseen with a hollow (8) for positioning the electrical motor (9) reached by the electrical connecting lines (10) on terminals (11). Higher in hollow (12) the driving shaft (13) transmits the movement, by means of gear pair (14), to shaft (15) which lets clutch (16) turn with expansion within a bell (17) turning with a driving pinion (18). When the sawing tool is at a stillstand, the driving pinion (18) with bell (17) does not turn with the driving shaft. As soon as the impulse has been received, motor (9) is activated and its shaft (15) lets clutch (16) turn, which at a speed fixed in advance and while expanding in the bell (17), turns simultaneously with this last one and drags the driving pinion (18) and the tool consisting of the cutting chain (19), which now glides on driving pinion (18) as well as on guide (20) of frame (21).
2) Electrical hand pruning saw, as per claim 1, characterized by the fact that it can be brought up to the wished height by using the permanent articulation component (1) as well as by means of one or more components (22) that are structured on the terminals with alternated conicity for the composition according to parts (23 and 24) with blocking by means of pressing.
3) Electrical hand pruning saw, as per claim 1, characterized by the fact that on top of the conical parts (23 and 24) two electri cal plugs (25 and 26) are foreseen which, by connecting the one with the other, ensure the continuity of the electrical main by means of the two inside cables (27). 4) Electrical hand pruning saw, as per claim 1, characterized by the fact that and electrical switch (28) has been foreseen on bar (1 ) which can be fitted on one end (29), whereas the other end (30) bears a socket for the electrical connection of the plug (31).
5) Electrical hand pruning saw, as per claim 1, characterized by that fact that as a variant, special positioning parts on end (30) can be foreseen for electrical batteries to be used alternatively instead of the connection by means of line (32).
6) Electrical hand pruning saw, as per claim 1, characterized by the fact that en stop (33) at the end of structure (21), a bar (34) has been foreseen in order to catch branches with smaller section than those which beat against the rod (35) brought by part (7).
7) Electrical hand pruning saw, as per claim 1, characterized by the fact that frame (21) shows two hollows (36) for positioning two screws (37) passing through part (7) in order to allow that this last part (7) becomes integral with structure (21).
