Description
GEAR MECHANICAL TRANSMISSION DEVICE. SUITABLE TO REALIZE A PERFECT DISTRIBUTION OF THE POWER FROM ONE MOTOR SHAFT TO A DRIVEN SHAFT. ACTING CONTEMPORARILY ON THE TEETH OF TWO RESPECTIVE INTERMEDIATE GEARS.
This invention relates -a gear mechanical transmission device, suitable to realize a pcrfecl distribution of the power from one motor shaft to a driven shaft, acting contemporarily on the teeth of two respective intermediate gears.
A problem to transmit the power torque from one driver shaft to a driven shaft by contemporari ly action on two teeth of an intermediate gear transmission, is well known.
This problem is particularly important in biscrew extruders where great torque transm ission al low running is required, notwithstanding a very reduced interaxis existing between the respective screw-extruding device.
Every system used ti ll today, from the employment of several electrical motors (altcrnalc current or direct current), to the most sophisticated mechan ical organs, i s not able to guarantee permanently and in any conditions the power transmission on two teeth of the same gearing intermediate transmission. If the electrical systems gave quite good results at a loss of very high costs and with many circuital complications, the mechanical systems, however perfect, were not able to distribute fairly the power on two teeth of the same wheel because of all the
imperfections and mechanical tolerance that unfortunately exist also in the most sophisticated constructions.
This invention as claimed has the object of arriving to the perfect equilibrium of the transmitted power on two teeth using only usual mechanical organs and a simple and economical construction.
It solves the problem by a gear mechanical transmission device, particularly suitable for biscrcw extruders, to realize a perfect distribution of the power from one motor driver shaft/gear to a driven gear-shaft, acting contemporarily on the teeth of two respective intermediate gears, characterized in that: - said driver shaft/gear and said driven shaft/gear are geared with two couples of intermediate side apart gears, said two couples of intermediate side apart gears being mounted in an free oscillating inlermcdiate frame; - said driver shaft/gear and said driven shaft/gear are supported in a relative rigid case/frame compared to said free oscillating intermediate frame.
With this solution the problem of distribution of the torque both on two different teeth arc surely and efficiently solved.
One way of carrying out the invention is described in detail below with reference to drawings which illustrate only one specific embodiment, in which:
Figure 1 is e schematic front view of the device in accordance with the invention.
Figure 2 is an axial semiscction of the device of Figure 1.
In the figures are shown two couples of "free rotatable" end oscillating in an independent supporting frame, set of couple of gears (2) (3) and (4) (5 ) as regards to the motor gear ( 1) (vinculated to a driver - shaft 1 ') and driven gear (6) geared to rotate the respective driven shaft (8). Be noted that this transmission is conceived for biscrew extruder, permit to containing the reactions on the shaft supports (1 ) and (8) promoting the problem sol ution of the wheelbases among the screws that in the biscrew extrudes ai cylindrical screws is quite critical . The power is transmitted from the motor (m) to the gear ( 1) connected to the driving shaft (1 '), that transmits by two teeth the power to the gears (2) and (3), that in their turn retransmit it to the gears (4) and (5) thai in their turn retransmit it to the gear (6) by two respective teeth. If the system should be rigid, it should not be innovating at all because, owing to the mechanical imperfections, the two engaged gear teeth (6) should be never in perfect contact and so the power should be really transmitted only on a tooth. Considering that the gears ( 1 ) and (6) are rigidly assembled by their supports, in the box of the reduction-unit (9) and so they do not put in crisis neither the driving shaft (1 ) nor the resistant shaft (6), the two couple of gears (2) (3) (4) (5) with the supports rigidly assembled in the freely oscillating cage/frame (7) are free of taking the best position as regards of the gears (6) and (1) in order to guarantee a perfect mesh cither with the two teeth of the gear (] ) or with the 2 tcclh of the gear (6).
In any case the cage or intermediate frame (7) is free of oscillating in order to find the exact gearing position eliminating automatically every working mechanical imperfection without the intermediate of any on l ine compensator.electrical, elastic or mechanical organ.
