- a multi-chamber enclosure comprising an external frame and a flexible cover suspended from and hanging within the frame, the cover including a first opening for providing access to and from a clean environment and a second opening for providing access to and from a hazardous environment, and at least one flexible partitioning wall which divides the enclosure into two or more chambers, said partitioning wall including an aperture therein for providing access between the chambers and two closure flaps overlapping said aperture, one closure flap being located on one side of the partitioning wall and the other flap being located on the other side of the partitioning wall.
- the closure flap located downstream of the partitioning wall will move away from the wall whereas the flap located upstream of the partitioning wall will press even closer against the wall, thus providing a much greater resistance to air flow and hence allowing a greater negative pressure to be achieved within the enclosure.
- closure flaps are freely suspended along their upper edges, so as to hang under gravity in closing positions with respect to the partition aperture when no air is being drawn through the enclosure.

- a series of flexible partitioning walls 40,47 of the same material as the cover 30 provide separate compartments which communicate with each other via apertures 49 in the partitioning walls.

Abstract
Enceinte (1) à chambres multiples comprenant un cadre externe (2) et une couverture souple (30) suspendue au cadre à l'intérieur duquel elle pend, la couverture comprenant une première ouverture (48) destinée à assurer l'accès à un environnement propre et hors de celui-ci, une seconde ouverture (43) destinée à assurer l'accès à un environnement très dangereux et hors de celui-ci, ainsi qu'au moins une paroi (40) de cloisonnement souple divisant l'enceinte en deux chambres ou plus, une ouverture étant ménagée dans ladite paroi, assurant l'accès entre les chambres internes. Deux volets de fermeture (41a) et (41b) chevauchent l'ouverture se trouvant dans la paroi (40) de cloisonnement, un étant situé du côté amont de la paroi de cloisonnement, l'autre étant situé du côté aval par rapport à la direction voulue du courant d'air de passage à travers l'enceinte, dans une direction allant de l'extrémité propre de l'enceinte jusqu'à l'extrémité sale.
