Abstract

Prothèse (10) de valvule cardiaque adaptée pour remplacer la valvule aortique ou la valvule cardiaque mitrale ou n'importe laquelle des quatre valvules dans le coeur. L'invention comprend une partie (30) de corps annulaire comportant un alésage (32) d'écoulement de fluide doté d'une paroi interne elliptique, au travers duquel s'écoule du sang régulé par un obturateur (44) à disque reposant entre des butées (50, 52) de support proximale et distale, dont les extrémités sont fixées à l'anneau métallique et coïncident avec la courbure du disque. Le disque comporte un bord externe (42) épaissi, de manière à ce que le disque permette à l'écoulement sanguin de passer à travers l'orifice situé dans l'anneau, par rotation et translation de l'obturateur à disque, à partir d'une position fermée en contact étanche (35) autour du corps annulaire jusqu'à une position ouverte dans laquelle le bord épaissi de l'obturateur (44) à disque sert d'arrêt de trajectoire au mouvement de translation de l'obturateur pendant le fonctionnement.
