Abstract

A method of improving the combustion, increasing compression in a piston engine, by, in any of the end positions (3, 2) via one or more extensions (4), with ducts or cavities (5, 15), distributing the fuel mixture in the combustion chamber, in extensions (8, 9) (stepped piston), in extra cylinders on opposing sides wich can be connected via ducts (14), the difference between total movement and compression movement in (10, 11, 12) (the stepped piston), the extension, being used for increased compression.

Description

A METHOD OP FEEDING AND DISTRIBUTING A EUΞL-AIR MIXTURE
1
TECHNICAL FIELD
The invention relates to a method of distributing from one ore more places (points) (1) in explosion/compression or combustion chambers a fuel mixture by, for example, from either end position(2,3) securely connecting one or more c means (4) such that the extension/extensions, most often cylindrically formed, are securely applied in, for example, one of the end positions (piston or cylinder head). (2,3) of the cylinder, from wich the air/fuel mixture is spread via aduct and cavity (5) such that the cylinder space is Q iniformly filled. This method of distributing a fuel mixture from a point (1) in the cylinder space so evenly, that when the fuel mixture is compessed (6) and ignited, an effective combustion is obtained with power gains as a result thereof, result in that the combusted fuel amount
15 therefore contains a minimal amount of non combusted fuel components.
For certin piston engines, depending on the movment of the piston in the cylinder space (stroke) the following
20 application can be used. In the opposing side, piston or cylinder top, there can be arranged one or more extra cy Under spaces (7), which is most often require due to the legth (8,9) of the extension, and the piston movment in either direction (10,11,12). On the end (3) of the ex
25 tension into the opposing cylinder space (13), the air/ fuel mixture is compressed and returned via ducts (14), which connect the smaller cylinder space with the combustion chamber and in this way utilizes the connection between the several cylinder spaces (13,1) via return flow ducts (14).
30
In this way there is utilized the piston movement (11,12
),the lengths of the extension (8, 9),the distace between piston and cylinder top (2,3) ,and the length of the extra cylinder spaces for increasing the compression (6). These
35 measurs individually or collectively effect the degree of combustion of the engine and its power. BACKGROUND ART
In known apparatus or systems within the field of internal combustion engines there are preferably used different types of carburator, more or less complicated, which by an increased use of more valves improve the capacity of the engines in coaction with different types of turbo units and electronic fuel injection. These systems combine desired properties together in different ways.
DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION
10 The objekt of the invention is to achieve in simple way improved combustion, with as pure exhaust gases as possible ,and within the area to achieve a simple basicsolution applicable within all areas, by utilizing to the full the method in which air /fuel mixture is uniformly distri- buted in the entire cylinder space/combustion chamber.
This is achived by utilizing, in such a case, the .special practical advantages '(possibilites) arising due to the invention to give an effect increasing factor for the ΛU invention.
DESCRIPTION OF FIGURES
An embodiment of the invention applied to a single cylinder piston engine with three different cylinderspaces(l,13 7) is depicted, including cylinder extension (4) cavities (5) C15) the length of the extension ( 8 ,9) return flow duct (14) , stroke(10, 11,12) compressed fuel mixture (6) main cylinder space (1) piston top (3) and cylinder end(2)...

Claims

CLAIM
Method of conveying a fuel mixture in the combustion chamber, via a channel or cavity, in one more preferably cylindrical extensions. The applied extension ( 4 ) or extensions enter, on the movement of the pistons, into the cylinder or piston top ( 2,3), extra ,preferably minor cylinder spaces (13) wihch, via return flow channels (14) are in communication with the combustion chamber (1), cylinder space or spaces. This method of conveying the fuel mixture being associated with connecting via the duct (14) different cylinder spaces (1,13) and utilizing the movement (11 , 12) of the piston, the lengths (8,9) of the extension, the distance between the piston/cylinder ends ( 2,3), the lengths (13) of the extra cylinder space for increasing compression and combustion.
