Abstract
Une composition absorbant l'eau comprend des granules constitués d'un polymère absorbant l'eau enrobé de particules de diatomite. Le polymère est de préférence un copolymère d'acrylamide réticulé ayant des granules dont les dimensions ne dépassent pas 60 microns. Un procédé, servant à traiter des granules constitués, d'un polymère absorbant l'eau afin de réduire la tendance desdits granules à s'agglomérer en contact avec de l'eau et d'autres solutions aqueuses, est également décrit. Ledit procédé consiste à mettre en contact les granules avec de la diatomite, afin de former sur lesdits granules une couche d'enrobage de diatomite.
