Penetration of hanger arm first end 21 into bore 41 is limited by snap ring 45 coming into abutment with cross-arm end 15 (see Figure 4). As shown in Figure 5, hanger arm 19 may be unlocked from axial alignment with cross-arm 13 by pulling outward on hanger arm 19 to overcome the compression bias of coil spring 43 and withdraw hanger arm first end 21 from bore 41. Thereafter, hanger arm 19 and sleeve 31 may be rotated through an angle such as 90 degrees to place them parallel to pole 5 for storage and transfer purposes.

Abstract

Un assemblage de suspension (1) d'un matériel médical ou autre possède des bras pivotants (19) se verrouillant dans une position opérative et se déverrouillant pour pouvoir être déplacés vers une position de rangement. Pour améliorer le caractère portatif de l'assemblage, la connexion entre l'assemblage et le montant de support (5) peut aisément être fixée et détachée. L'assemblage de suspension (1) est verrouillée dans une position opérative au moyen d'une liaison sollicitée entre un bras suspenseur (19) et un bras transversal (13). Ledit verrouillage permettant de mettre l'assemblage de suspension dans une position de stockage peut s'effectuer aisément en appliquant une force à l'encontre de la force de sollicitation pour libérer les bras de la liaison d'accouplement, puis en faisant tourner les bras (19) autour du point de pivot. La suspension d'un matériel médical ou autre est assurée par des moyens disposés sur le bras suspenseur.
