Abstract
An emergency rescue balloon kit, comprising two coloured balloons (1), each balloon including a rubber layer (2) of 2 cm. at an upper portion thereof and a lug having a hole (3) therein at a bottom portion thereof. The message "HELP" is displayed on each balloon. The kit further comprises a portable box (5) for storing the kit and housing a reel of nylon cord (4) which may be unwound and attached to one of the balloons at hole (3). An oxygen container (6) is also stored in the portable box (5) and includes an injection needle (8) and protective cover (9) which is threadably received thereon. The kit further includes some adhesive tape (11) for closing a hole in the upper portion (2) of the balloon which hole is caused by the injection needle (8) when the balloon is inflated.
Description
TITLE OFINVENTION:
EMERGENCYRESCUE BALLOON KIT
This invention relates to a peculiar, practical, unique and operative rescue balloon for emergency conditions in green or snow covered or frozen areas, comprising and combined with an oxygen metal container, this assembly / being disposed Within the interior of a portable iron box Wi th loW pressure cover. The present ivention is hereinafter described in detail / and illustrated on attached drawings, in which: Fig. 1 is a vien in perspective of said balloon, attached on the lower bottom part to the end of a nylon chord unwound from a reel; Figure 2 shows the upper part of the balloon perforated by oxygen injection needle disposed in throat of the container; Figure 3 shows the upper part of the oxygen bottle; and Figure 4 is a view of the portable iron box and of the materials packed therein, such as: Nylon chord reel, two plastic balloons, oxygen bottle and small adhesive tape.
As may deducted from drawing examination said emergency / rescue balloon for green or snow. covered or frozen areas object of this invention, is essentially characterized in that it is provided on the inner side of the upper part with a two centimeter rubber layer (2), and on the lower part with a perforated lug with a hole (3), in which end of a nylon chord is attached being unwound from a reel(4) disposed in the in the interior of an iron box (5), which completes the set, and where two balloons (1) are packed having the word "HELP", one being white, having blue
letters for emergency in green areas, and. the other being / red or blue colored, with white letters, for the same /- purpose over a frozen or snow covered region; an oxygen bottle (6) and a small adhesive tape (11) tube. The invention is still characterized in that the oxygen container is provided on the neck of a threaded tube where a lower part of an oxygen injection needle (8) is attached, injecting the oxygen into the balloon, being provided with a thread on the lower external part', where a protecting /- cover (9) is screwed into, said bottle being also provided/ with a valve (7) which apens and closes the passage of the oxygen into the balloon.
As far as concerns the rescue balloon, both for green areas or for snow or ice covered areas, it was lound that this is what is the most simple device for emergency cases, as is clearly disclosed on the illustrative drawings. Firstly from the portable box (5) with a handle (l), a balloon (1) of adequate color is removed on the emergency / location, to the lug (3) being attached the end of a nylon/ chord or string unwound from a reel (4). Afterwards, the' injecting needle (8) is threaded into the threaded neck tube of. the oxygen container (6), and with its end perforating / the rubber layer (2), disposed on internal upper part of the balloon, opening simultaneously the valve (7) for the outlet of gas. Once the balloon is full, with oxygen the valve is closed, the injecting neddle is removed and over the perforated hole there is placed a piece of adhesive /- tape as a plug, the balloon being then ready to climb to the covenient height and indicate the emergency or eventual accident location.
Said balloons are manufactured from impervious material, are two meter higt by four meters circumference, in colors above mentioned and both with word "HELP". It is obviously a unique rescue set for any type of emergency having there-fore merits of its own for a legal protection now requested formally.
