Abstract

La invención proporciona plantas de sorgo y las partes de planta desarrolladas por medio del cultivo de tejidos, la edición de genes u otros métodos de mutagénesis en los que la planta o partes de planta han aumentado su tolerancia a uno o más herbicidas de acetil-CoA carboxilasa (ACC) a niveles que normalmente inhiben el crecimiento de plantas de sorgo de tipo silvestre. La planta de sorgo puede ser tolerante a cualquier herbicida capaz de inhibir la actividad de la enzima acetil-CoA carboxilasa.
