Abstract

La presente invención proporciona un sistema de contratación en línea de servicios que comprende dispositivos UpnP y un punto de control, y comprende además un dispositivo UpnP de una nueva categoría denominado Servidor de suscripciones: El punto de control es capaz de conectarse con el servidor de suscripciones y proveer al usuario de un interfaz para suscribir servicio. El servicio de suscripciones es, preferentemente, capaz de listar servicios a suscribir, suscribir y de-suscribir dichos servicios. La invención proporciona un mecanismo eficaz y seguro para hacer llegar la oferta de servicios de una determinada empresa a los dispositivos habituales que posee un usuario (televisor, teléfono móvil, ordenador, etc.) de forma que pueden ser contratados con total garantía sin tener que buscar otros servicios en buscadores de Internet, ni conocer ninguna URL.
