Método y sistema de identificación de al menos un anuncio audiovisual en un flujo de datos (1), tal como una difusión de televisión digital, detectando caídas de energía en un flujo de audio (3) del flujo de datos (1) y comparando un segmento (5) del flujo de audio que empieza en la caída de energía con un segmento de audio (5) del anuncio. La etapa de comparación requiere sólo algunos segundos de datos para realizar la detección. Por tanto, la identificación del anuncio se proporciona antes del final del anuncio en el flujo de datos (1).
