Abstract

Un polímeros aglutinante formador de películas para una composición de recubrimiento, tal como una pintura, barniz o tintura, donde el polímero está modificado por la presencia de grupos unidos derivados de goma vegetal, en particular goma obtenida de fibras vegetales, en especial goma de fibras de maóz y más particularmente grupos derivados de proteoxilanos y/o furanosa. El polímero aglutinante modificado minimiza la necesidad de emplear solventes coalescentes sin producir recubrimientos de pintura seca pobres que no pasan la prueba de resistencia al frotado y también mejora la opacidad de la composición de recubrimiento seca.
