ADJUSTABLE ROLLING SPECIFICATION forming part of Reissued fn-lulnal No. 123,756, dated February lit, 1812.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that l, ljnansorzr l). Wool) RUl-F, of the city of Toledo, eountyxoi Lucas, and State of Ohio, have invented certain new 5 and useful Improvements in Adjustable Store- Trueks, of whieh the following is a specificatiou, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, which are made a part hereof, and on whieh similar letters of reference indicate IO similarparts.
Figure l is a top or plan view of my inrprovcd truck when in position lr use with a stove in which the feet are about equidis taut from each other. Fig. 2 is a similar View when the truck is in position for use with a stove in which the feet are farther apart in one direction than the other. Fig. it is a rertioal central section on the dotted line .1: in Fig. 1. Vi". 4 is a transverse vertieal section 2o or one oi the arms, on a larger scale, on the dotted line z 2 ill Fig. I, Fig. is a perspeetive riew of thelower portion oia store when mounted on my improved trunk.
in said drawings the portion marked A represents a central piece which forms a support. for the inner eml ot' the arms; l; Ii, arms which are made adjustable by ineanso longitudinal slots 1;, which passover boltslf. These arms, when properly connected together and 0 mounted upon suitable casters, as shown, eou' 5 obj'eet l have h stitute the essential elements of my inven. .n. Upon the outer end oi each of the arms is an upwardlyprojecting flange, l), which forms a socket eapable ot' llfCltlVlllg and containing 5 the footof an ordinary store-leg, and which prevents the store from accidentally sliding from itsposition ou the truck when mounted thereon, thus contributingvery materially to the-usefulness of the device.
ThelongitudinalslotsI; iu'thearnis l5, which allow said arms to slide along the bolls. thus rendering the deriee z'uljustabh are the most important. l'eaturo at my invention, as without, them it; would be diliieult to ueriunplisl the :ulin \i|-\\'. {hul, ol' prod 'ng a storwtrnek eousislinf; of a series of arms theapgrti-r rmlsfot' nlqjelreau be brought "i any J'iiflllllll'd stura to aeeommodate'thexli i FHn-LIi-et ofgtnfonliinnr stove, so that iall |'est djreetly upon one PATENT OFFICE;

SUPPORT FOR STOVES Letters Patent No. 9,283, dated July 8, 188). Application for tetanus filed November 1, ii".-
of said ones when the stove. is placed upon said truck.
The device can be easily justed, as it is only necessary to loosen the bolts and slide the arms inwardly until the flanges on the outer end thereof are near to or in contact with thestove-feet, and .retighten the bolts, This simple operation is all thatis required to render the truck operative in conueetion with any stove the feet of which can be inserted within the limits of the expansion and contraction of the arms or truck-beams.
The especial advantages possessed by thib device are that it may be easily and" quickly adapted to and secured upon the legsol' any stove having size within the limit of its adjustment. it is ornamental, and adds to the appezuanee of the stove. It enables dealers to more easily move stores from one place to another in a store, or to turn them around for the purpose of exhibition. It is rlll'flllg and durable, and, being simple in construction; is not liable to get out of order, aml ean be t'uruished at a moderate eost.
Having thus fullydeseribed my said inrenlion, what I claim as ueuyaud desire to secure by Letters latr-nt, is-
l. in a stove-truck, a serirs ol' railiallyudjustable arms, the inner end of each being which E)i\ iSilll'()ll; ;llrllllll slots,substantially as and l'or the purpose set i'orth 1 l. in a stovetruek, tlneombiualnruof a series of arms having longitudinal slots theresubstantially as spei-ilied.
