The present invention relates-to. a new and distinct variety. oflrose plant-having the following combinationhof dominating distinctive char: acteristics:

(2). A colonfastness unusual inred roses.
(3). A color, value unusual in redroses and especially in .a rose of this. type.
This. new variety. differs. from its. seed parent Minna Kordesi (World-is Flair) Plant Patent No. 362,- in the following. manner:
(1) A deeper color of red in ,thefl'owers-..
(2). Alargerfiowerh v (3) A more upright, compacthabit ofjgrowth.
This new variety differs from its pollen parent, Mirandy, Plant Patent-No. 632, in the following manner:
( 1) It has flowers with a deeper color ofreds.
(2-) Theiiowers aofthisrnew variety. arersemidouble; whereas those of -Mirandyi are. double.
(3) The flowers of thisznew variety... have a slight fragrance; whereas... the flowers of Mirandy have a very strongdragrance.
