PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A FOUNTAIN PEN Application November 24, 1934, Serial No. 54,1'51

Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that we, William Bowker, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newark, county of Essex, State of New Jersey, and Rene P. Piperoux, a citizen of the United States, residing at Radburn, in the county of Bergen, State of New Jersey, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for Fountain Pens, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

In the accompanying drawing:

Fig. 1 is a plan View of a fountain pen showing our new design.

Fig. 2 is an enlarged view of a portion of the pen.

The ornamentation of the fountain pen shown on the drawing comprises laminations of colored effects alternating with laminations containing pearl effects wherein the pearl effects are so arranged that they recur with intermediate substantially lusterless portions, the continuity of the lines formed by the laminations of the colored and pearl effects being broken up.

We claim:

The ornamental design for a fountain pen, substantially as shown and described.
