Be it known that I, Michael Chernow, a citizen of the United States and residing at Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for an Aiphabet for Forming Monograms or the like, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, and in which Fig. 1 is a face view of the alphabet showing my new design.

Fig. 2 is a perspective view showing one of the letters of the alphabet.

The characteristic feature of the design is the generally peaked conformation of the individual characters which present a median ridge longitudinally thereof, from which the face of the character tapers to relatively thin lateral edges.

I claim:

The ornamental design for an alphabet for forming monograms or the like, substantially as shown and described.
