PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A SHOE David Levin, New York, N. Y.

Be it known that I, David Levin, a. citizen of the United States, residing in New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Shoe, of which the following is a. specification, reference being had. to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is a plan view of a shoe, showing my new design.

Figure 2 is a side perspective view of the shoe.

The dominant features of the present design reside in the finger-like elements of ornamentation coming out from the sole surrounding the vamp and approaching each other as they approach the instep, and a second set of finger-like elements of ornamentation coming up from the sole or the shoe and disposed over the entire vamp, these being of contrasting color and tapering off and falling in with the first set of elements of ornamentation.

The design also includes a circular opening in the instep of the vamp and an elliptical opening on either side thereof.
