PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A TEXTILE FABRIC Curt Erwin Forstmann, Montclair, N. J.

Be it known that I, Curt Erwin Forstmann, a citizen of the United States, residing at Montclair, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Textile Fabric, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

In the drawing, the sole figure of which is a plan view of a piece of the textile fabric embodying the design of the present invention, the cloth depicted is of a single color.

The design consists of warpwise series of horizontal bars arranged in groups of two with a space between the groups equal approximately to twice the width of a group, any one series being so related to the adjacent series on each side that a group of bars in one adjacent series bounds the lower half of said space on one side, and a group of bars in the other adjacent series bounds the upper half of said space on the opposite side, said space being intersected by diagonal shots or ridges extending between said lateral bounding groups of bars.
