Be it known that I, Elmer P. Sacrey, a citizen of the United States, residing at Syracuse, in the county of Onondaga and. State of New York, and having my post-ofiice address at 2011 South State Street, Syracuse, New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a. Gasing for a Cutting Instrument or the like, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing forming part thereof. In the drawing,
Figure 1 is a plan view of this instrument.
Figure 2 is a side elevation thereof.
Figure 3 is an end view looking to the right in Figure 2.
I claim:
The ornamental design for a casing for a cutting instrument or the like substantially as shown and described.

it is hereby certified that error appears in the printed specification of the above numbered patent requiring correction as follows: Second column, after line 3, insert the following paragraph:
The predominating features of the design are the eiiipsoidal body and the ellipsoidal head as weli as the general appearance resulting from the union of the body and the head and their angular relative disposition in the manner shown.
And that the said Letters Patent should be read with this correction therein that the same may conform to the record of the case in the Patent Office,
