PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A BRIDGE FOR EYEGLASSES Application October 10, 1934, Serial No. 53,540

Be it known that I, Fred H. Soden, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Rochester, in the county of Monroe, and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Bridge for Eyeglasses, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

In the drawing:

Fig. 1 is a front elevation of a bridge for eyeglasses showing my new design;

Fig. 2 is a plan view, and

Fig. 3 is a side view.

The novel features of my design, as shown in the present embodiment, include an upper or generally horizontal portion comprising two substantially straight portions which merge at a medial point and extend thence downwardly and rearwardly with their ends bent sharply in a rearward direction, and downwardly extending portions which curve first rearwardly and outwardly, thence downwardly, forwardly and inwardly, and merge in terminal portions which curve downwardly and outwardly.
